Hatch is the kind of coffee shop you’ll want to visit daily - coffee, food, and people all spot on. Easily one of the best - if not the best - coffee spots in Dublin. The coffee is always perfect, great options for non-coffee drinkers too (their matcha is my favourite). The food is fresh, seasonal, and fantastic value - don’t skip the pea and mint hummus (add on halloumi!), or the carrot cake for something sweet. The staff are always so warm and friendly, even during the busiest times or earliest mornings. Since moving back to Dublin last year, it’s become a weekly - if not daily - staple. Kudos to the evidently great team behind Hatch; it’s the perfect formula for a neighbourhood coffee shop!

I love Hatch. Coffee always perfect. (Temp, texture, appearance). Food delicious. Always really busy yet service is so fast and efficient. Staff are all sound and most of them have been there for ages which is great sign. Very lucky to have hatch as my local!

Loved this place! Quality of food and service was class - my breakfast bap arrived quickly, tasted fresh and flavoursome, as did my oat cappuccino. €10 for the bap and €5 for the coffee is very reasonable given the quality and service. Would highly recommend if you’re in Blackrock.

An address not to be missed! I love coffee and this is one of the best I've ever tasted! Thanks again to Kat (sorry for the writing, I'm not sure) thank you for your kindness and your fabulous advice, you are a real ray of sunshine! 🌞

Ever since it opened, I visit Hatch as often as possible. The quality of the food and drinks is always top notch. The pea and mint hummus on Bread41 sourdough was great, and I really loved the addition of grilled halloumi. The matcha was also fantastic - not sweetened (thank you 🙏)!

I've been here at least twice a week since I started college and the cinnamon roll is my favourite treat! I love the atmosphere and there is a lot of space. Had the tomato riccota and it was delicious, very filling. The staff were really friendly too.

So so cool. What a busy buzzy place for great coffee. The service was so good and efficient. It has the feel of a well oiled operation. We arrived and got lucky with a table next to the counter. Where we saw how the sourdough loaves disappear in front of our eyes. The queue was big and people were dotted around waiting for coffees and delicious things. Our coffees were so so well made and quick delivered to our table. We sample the croissant and the sweet breakfast roll. Both great. We went for a second round of coffees how good they were and got some food too. My beans on toast with an extra fried egg was tasty although a hit in the cold side. My friend had scramble eggs on toast and they were delicious. The breakfast bap is another one to sample. We’ve found it a bit noise at times but that is probably because we are old. It was great to see a business doing so great and full of happy punters. I’ll be back to get some sourdough bread and a bag of coffee to take home.

I’ve come in here twice recently and the experience was similar both times. Coffee and pastries/cakes were amazing! Unfortunately the service and staff let it down in my opinion, staff were unfriendly on both occasions and I don’t recall getting a smile or much of a hello. Nonetheless it’s a lovely place with a great atmosphere. I understand it can be stressful when service is very busy but it’s a pity you don’t feel hugely welcomed
