A iconic bandshell in a beautiful setting. Lots of open space for concerts. Great access from the city.

Very cool spot. There were musicians playing peaceful music there. Brought picnic stuff and chilled for a few hours around 7-9pm.

I was there for the landmark orchestra's end of season performance of Scheherazade. Could not have picked a better day weather wise for an evening performance.

An ideal place, except for the fact that people who call themselves "a pillar of the community" live here. Don't believe a word they say, they tried to steal from me!

One of the most beautiful spots for a picnic and performance by some of the greatest musicians world wide. Summers and sunsets are magical in the esplanade where it seems as the maestro at the last performance said: "time seems to stand still" and music fills the air.

Amazing location right next to the Charles River. Many events happen here throughout the year. Even though it is next to a major road of Boston, it is surprisingly quite, peace and calm when you sit in the park. It is best enjoyed in the evening I’d say, and there are many events held here throughout the year - except Winter perhaps. In the summer, there are outdoor movie screenings at the shell which is such a wholesome experience - just bring a picnic blanket, snacks and friends of course, and enjoy a movie under the stars ☺️

The venue was excellent. Awesome up close. Watched high school jazz band from all around the state. Would of like food vendors to accommodate those who don't wish to walk 10 to 15 minutes for a quick bite to eat. The real drawback was all the dog the waste on the ground. Had to watch where you sat or walked.
