"Hatched, Holland Village by Superhap. Hatched is a restaurant specialising in breakfast and brunch that revolves around the main ingredient, eggs. If you are an egg lover, this is definitely the place for you. They have an extensive range of food items with different methods of egg preparation that you can choose from. From poached egg to eggs benedict to scrambled eggs, you would find yourself spoilt for choice when you realise that something as simple and as common as an egg can have so many exquisite ways of preparation. And yes, the décor outside was not the be missed out as well, with potted plants covering most of its shop front creating a cosy ambient for diners to have their meals outside."

This is a nice and cozy cafe that is perfect for a weekend brunch. It is also great for studying or doing work because of the nice ambience and the spaciousness. They have a lot of seats, and even when I went there on a Saturday late morning there were plenty of space. The sell mostly breakfast/brunch food, which is decent.

Nice place to have brunch. Lot of options with eggs. The coffee it’s ok. the quality of the food It’s ok but the execution not so good. My Benedictine was over cooked

I like it that they serve you water the first thing you walk in without me having to ask for it. The menu was a variety of eggs dishes (duh!) And some others brick and mortar dishes. I didn't know quite what I wanted so I told the guy what I have in mind and he gave me exactly what I wanted! 👍 There is a corner for kiddies to play toys too. Nice!

Quite possibly one of the most disappointing brunch meals I've ever had. I ordered the Popeye's Salute, and was served a thick layer of thawed frozen, flavourless spinach over an English muffin, with a poached egg on top, with no hollandaise sauce. I got sautéed potatoes on the side which were almost as flavourless, along with a very plain salad. This mediocre meal cost me about $16. My friend ordered the Papillote, which she was also very disappointed with. The service wasn't the best either. I will not be going back to Hatched!

My bf and I decided on this place since we have both heard of Hatched but never tried before. Perhaps we both love eggs too much and assuming Hatched is a cafe that specialise in eggs, we walked in to a quiet and chilled on a Thursday evening at 7pm. Bf ordered a Philly and I ordered a Churizo. I love scrambled eggs so I was expecting alot from the dish. When my order arrived, I was dismayed at the look of the eggs. It was not fluffy/creamy and looked a tad too scrambled. I was hoping that the looks are deceiving, turned out the taste was pretty disappointing. It tasted like there was Japanese ramen powder seasoning in the eggs, very strange. On a brighter side, their home made mash potato was pretty good! Bf's order was slightly better as his omelette has onions, capsicum, cheese and beef pieces. What could go wrong right? Again omelette was fried a little too much, beef pieces were just the right tenderness. Probably gonna be our first and last time there. Kudos to the girl who served us water without us asking and they were pretty on point in refilling our glasses!
