Ordered today 25.10.2022: ordered paneer tikka masala but received something with chicken not happy. I called the restaurant and they were supportive to send me the right order. Visited 07.02.2022. for a buffet was very happy. Very delicious meal and was very fresh. Customer friendly. Worth the money. If someone looking for unlimited Indian meals this is very good. I loved jeera rice and Dal very much with Naan amazing taste.. Ordered paneer tikka masala n garlic naan from lieferservice. I think the kitchen has changed. Now the food tastes very fresh and delicious. Loved it.. I really wish the same quality continues in future.

This is one of my favorite places I eat at each time I come to Graz. The food is delicious and the staff are always very friendly. It’s a nice outdoor patio, as well.

Wonderful restaurant. Recommended to me by a local person of Indian heritage as the most authentic Indian food in Graz. It did not disappoint! Absolutely delightful.

I had kabli chana. Spicy chickpeas with rice. The dish is not by itself (spicy) hot, but they gave a fairly hot sauce on request. Dish was delicious. A mango spritzer went well with it. Outside sitting area was perfect for a warm summer evening. Service was excellent. Prices are fair.

Austrian customers: “oh this is the best Indian food in the world!!!” People who have had real Indian food in India, other Asian countries, and UK: “ This is very average” The portions are insanely small for what you pay. The interior décor looks like it was designed by a couple of students in 1971.

It was nothing to shout about, in fact I was disappointed with the localized taste again in yet another Indian restaurant. The chapati was hard, and horrible. However, the servers were very polite, respectful and friendly. That's a plus point, therefore it's 3 ⭐ for these reasons.

Real shame. We did arrive without a booking and were treated very poorly by, I presume, a manager. Clearly didn't want to seat us, we'd been caught in a heavy downpour and probably didn't suit him, however he eventually give in to a colleague and seated us next to the delivery drivers collection table - later found there were plenty of empty tables in the main restaurant). So we ate next ti a dog with delivery drivers coming in and out and a constant cold breeze - Food was OK, inoffensive but westernised beyond recognition and over sweet. I'm sure the pony tailed manager may have his say if he reads this but his rudeness dampened the experience for us. Lovely dog though.

Its a Punjabi owned restaurant, serving all varieties of north Indian dishes. I have been here a couple of times. They are serving lunch buffet daily from 12 to 2.30 PM except for Sunday. The lunch buffet includes both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes with typical spicy pickles, chutney, curd raita, and a delicious sweet dish - mango yogurt, jaggery, or gulab jamun, etc. I like butter chicken and chana masala. You can also book a table in advance. For more details, have a look at their website. I am attaching a few photos of the lunch buffet dishes.

Yelp
I agree with Patrik. T. 3 stars it is. I was disappointed at the quality of the food and service espeically when I saw the prices. I am not an expert, but I don't think Hathi does justice to Indian curries and sauces. The menu is limited and I am gonna take a guess that my spinach sauce was prepackaged frozen creme spinach from the grocery store. It barely had any chicken in it and the rice portions are too small. It has the perfect location across from a theater and directly on the plaza, but too bad the experience was not better.

Yelp
I went to restaurant hathi last week and ordered the buffet (although 3 types of curry sauce, bread and rice and a salad, not a buffet!). the food was completely cold and didn't taste indian at all. The staff were unbelievably rude and unfriendly!! one of them told me why do you take so much plates!!! eat in the one you already have!!!!! I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone unless they have 8,5 euros to waste and get insulted for taking too many plates!!!
