Beautiful and peaceful destination just a short drive from Dubai. Hatta Dam offers stunning mountain views, clear blue waters, and is great for kayaking and photography. The surrounding park is well-maintained with walking trails, picnic spots, and shaded rest areas perfect for families and nature lovers. Best visited early morning or during sunset on winter days for the most scenic views. Highly recommended for a relaxing day trip!

Hatta, located in the Hajar Mountains about 130 km southeast of Dubai city, is a scenic mountain enclave known for its natural beauty, heritage, and adventure experiences. It offers a cooler climate and rugged landscape, making it a popular getaway from the city. More interesting thing there we can see are the historical trees like Chorisia Insignis (300-400 years old), Olive tree (250-400) and more… ❤️ ❤️

Great experience over the WEEKDAY! During the weekends it gets really busy and crowded! The park downstairs is really organized and has a mosque and toilets. The admission fees are 60 for one kayak and 120 for a double kayak, unlimited time. Fun place away from city hustle bustle

The area is well-organized with everything you need: parking, food courts, clean washrooms, and walking paths that are perfect for photos. There’s even a sheltered pathway for those who prefer to avoid stairs, making it easy to reach the top viewpoint and enjoy the fantastic scenery. I also appreciated the thoughtful lighting design — the way the mountains and stairs are illuminated creates a magical evening atmosphere. You can also rent a kayak if you want to explore more of the dam from the water. Definitely recommend Hatta Dam for a peaceful and scenic one-day trip from Dubai!

A peaceful escape from the city! Visited Hatta Dam today and absolutely loved it. The scenery is stunning — calm blue water surrounded by rocky mountains. We rented kayaks and enjoyed the quiet paddle through nature. The weather was pleasant in the morning, and it wasn’t too crowded. There’s a small café nearby as well for refreshments. A perfect spot for relaxation and a bit of adventure. Highly recommend for a weekend trip from Dubai

went here for a nice boat trip with my family . we used the donut boat on our session , and it was great ! experience is good , lots of opportunities for photos and relaxation . wait times are nearly zero (we did not visit during peak hours , we visited in the morning .) i do have to say the boats are quite slow , but as it was a family boat (donut boat) it is definitely understandable staff are nice , and views are breathtaking . overall , we had a great time : )
