Hatta Dam

well that was a huge struggle to reach the dam . omg first we parked at p4 then we waited for a bus big one. we managed to board it after some minutes we reached p2 i guess and switched bus again in a long queue and waited for mini bus after 15 min i guess we got board on mini bus which dropped us off at the dam exact position . the view was magestic and amazing but the kids . we couldnt risk boating with kids and the slope. so we decided to wander around and enjoyed walking off off brige the wind hitting us . amziiinggg but then we keep walking and each corner of the bridge had some story to tell trust me. i vlogged for my besties . amazing again. and then we reacjed down valley with master plan just like i designed my community center in 6 semester of my architecture. hexagones. i loved playing with those forms. however we walked through it too. but i missed my friends . ill always miss my friends. everywhere and then a extra mini van picked us and dropped at the spot hwre again mini bus then again big bus wow just amazing the experience the husstle. i missed free food . i wish free food was provided fhere ahem. well it could have been an aamazing blog i guess . 🫡

Nice place. Peaceful. Full of activities can be done there, most of them related to water. You can also find some restaurant there if you are hungry. The place you have to pass through to take the free shuttle is really nice take time make a little tour. Also there you can find prayer room and washrooms.

Beautiful place for a relaxing walk with mountains surrounding with greenery. Main attraction is the boating and kayaking situated at the top. It's a short walk through the walkway but they offer free shuttle service till the main ticket counter and back. A good place to visit with family.

The drive through the scenic mountain roads was beautiful and relaxing a great start to the day. The dam itself is stunning, with turquoise waters surrounded by the Hajar Mountains. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding, and both were safe and fun for beginners and families (our kids are good swimmers). The staff at Hatta Kayak were friendly and professional, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Tips for visitors: Best time to visit: Early morning or late afternoon for cooler weather and fewer crowds. Parking: Free parking is available near the dam. closer is parking 1, and 2 and then 3 which you need bus ride. Activities: Kayaking, paddle boarding, pedal boats, and even hiking trails nearby. Costs: Kayak rentals start around AED 60; paddle boards are slightly higher. Bring: Sunscreen, water, and a camera — the views are incredible! If you’re looking for a peaceful escape from the city with a mix of nature, adventure, and relaxation, Hatta Dam is a must-visit. Highly recommended for families and anyone who loves outdoor activities!

A must visit place for breathtaking views especially the drive from Dubai that leads to the point. Aim for evening drive. The dam has wide selection of water sports activities too. Free Shuttle buses available from parking!
