Hatteras Parasail

By the time our vacation was over , we parasailed, rode the wave runners and rented a pontoon for a day. I felt bad for the girl at the desk who had to deal with all of my questions and separate bookings but she was very understanding and professional. She even checked the weather for the week and days ahead so we would have some idea what the wind would be like. Everyone we encounter was really nice and helpful/knowledgeable. I will say it is a little hard to find the desk to check in and the captains of the boats once checked in. Otherwise, it was a fantastic bunch of experiences.

An overall fantastic experience for a few parasailing first timers! We got a recommendation from Captain Jack at Family Water Adventures to go with Hatteras Parasail. We didn’t make reservations ahead of time and were lucky to only wait 15 minutes for the next ride out. It’s probably easier to make a reservation but we had a week of clouds and scattered showers so we took a chance. Jerry and Bryant made us feel very comfortable and gave clear instructions on what to do and expect. We came on board as a group of 4- three going up and our daughter out for the ride. What a thrilling experience! We felt very safe and completely secure. We had a pretty quick ride out and back for our small group- about 30 min- but the memories will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

Great location out on the sound. Get reservations because it books up fast. Crew was great and basically all you have to do is put on a harness and physics does the rest. Plenty of time up in the air and beautiful views of the island and water. Certainly worth the money.

We rented 2 jetskis for 4 people and it was really fun! We were supposed to have an hour and our guide gave us an hour and a half! The price was pretty good to! Our tour guide also was really friendly and helpful! The jetskis were a good size for 2 people, they max out at 46 mph, we didn’t do the parasailing, but they looked fun!

Great customer service and a wonderful experience! We even got to meet a cute dog, named Wendy that was behind the counter! The guy named Jesus that helped us get on our jet skis we rented was super helpful and friendly.

We had a great experience parasailing and renting jet skis. Booking and check in was easy. Everyone we dealt with was friendly. Would definitely go back!

They were very professional and the day was seamless. You go right out over the sound and the view was amazing. A couple of folks in the water and then they bring you back to the boat!!

What a fantastic experience! It was easy to book, with great communication, and the ride was more than I was expecting! The entire process was explained and as it was my first time parasailing, I felt at ease and had a wonderful time!

Had a great time! Would recommend brining a GoPro or something to catch the view from up top!

we had a group of 6 from ages 15- 72. Jerry and Brian were great. Very professional and efficient, explained things well. We all had a wonderful time. Would highly recommend them.

This is essentially a mom-and-pop parasailing business run out of the dockside store at Oden's Dock. I was quoted a price of $65 on the phone, and when I looked online, I saw they had a coupon for $5 off. When we arrived, we were charged $65 per person WITH the coupon. Apparently it's normally $70 per person, but everyone gets the discount? That's confusing and not exactly up-front. Regardless, they were efficient and safe, and the kids had a great time, with 15 minutes of air time, several dips into the water, and a tandem of three riders. The boat didn't exactly go far, and the full boat was back within 35 minutes. Just be aware or confirm the price ahead of time WITH the coupon in the Sunny Day magazine.

Great place for parasailing , it's the wide open sound and the brothers that run the business that make this place. The boat they have is nice and clean and it's definitely a return trip for me

My friends and I had an incredible time parasailing with this family-owned company! Jerry and Asa made our experience (for many of us, our first time) unforgettable! As a group of 6, they advised us to ride in groups of 3 so we could maximize our air time and it was most definitely worth it. Around 10 a.m. on a Saturday we parasailed next to a giant school of dolphins and encountered them up close both in the parasail and on the boat. This itself, made the excursion unique! Jerry and Asa purposefully dipped our group in the water where the dolphins were swimming! It was magical to say the least. I HIGHLY recommend booking through Hatteras Parasail and using the Sunny Day coupon ($5 off per person for Mondays and Saturday mornings). The business was well-managed and had great vibes. We also recommend going to the Breakwater Restaurant for dinner, as the food, live music, and sunset views were wonderful!
