We came here for a really late dinner upon arriving in Rhodes. The foods was good, we had the fried calamari, baked feta cheese and the pork gyros platter. Nothing bad about the food, was good enough, but it is a little on the expensive side, even though I suppose you do pay a little extra for the location and view. It wouldn’t probably be my first choice if other options available but for the time we arrived (after 11pm) was ok.

This is really special and unique. We got to pick our whole fish from a cold drawer that were caught earlier that day. Then they just told us they would handle everything and we had the best grouper we’ve ever tasted with vegetables and amazing homemade French fries. The brother and sister owners are amazing. Just let them steer you toward a fresh fish with all the accompaniments and you won’t be sorry. Prices are reasonable also.

An excellent outdoor seating location overlooking the 14th century church ruins, looks a little more presentable overall than many other neighbouring restaurants. The service was on the slower side, not a major issue for us as we were on a holiday, prawn saganaki was very average, the mains of fish special and seafood risotto were good, decent portion sizes too. The house wine was terrible. It is on a pricier side of dinning, am not sure the overall experience felt as fine dine to match the price but it is a reasonable good seafood restaurant in a nice setting.

A well known restaurant, highly recommended for those who want to try sea food with excellent service, reasonable prices at a comfortable place, at the heart of the Old Town of Rhodes. The treats in the end, ice cream with baklava and liqueur were sure welcome. Listening to live music made the dinner with colleagues even more pleasant.

Each dish is cooked to melt-in-the-mouth. Perfection! Eating here was a testament to the kitchen’s dedication to quality and flavor. The selection of regional wines, thoughtfully curated to complement the menu, further enhanced the experience, with our waiter’s expert recommendations proving spot-on. What truly sets this establishment apart, however, is its exceptional service. The staff’s warmth and professionalism were evident in every interaction, striking a perfect balance between attentiveness and discretion.. The entire team worked in harmony, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and valued, creating an atmosphere of genuine hospitality.

Lovely setting tucked next to a peaceful garden and shaded by tall trees, with a spacious outdoor terrace perfect for a relaxed lunch or dinner. The menu is extensive and focused on seafood, with options in several languages, which is helpful for visitors. Prices are on the higher side, but the location and ambiance are a big plus. Nice spot to take a break from the nearby historical sites.

Already dreaming of my next visit to Rhodes, and this will be my first stop! Everything we tried—the Greek salad, seafood risotto, and stuffed calamari—was absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly, kind, and helpful. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Hatzikeli is a hidden gem in the heart of the Old Town, surrounded by ancient stone ruins and centuries-old trees, with a gentle breeze that makes the setting even more magical. On Fridays and Saturdays, they host live music, so a reservation is a must. The menu is unique and features creative twists on local flavors. The Hatzikeli salad is on the salty side due to the pickles, but still refreshing. The eggplant pastry is a brilliant idea, and the other eggplant meze was equally delicious. We loved the grilled calamari, the Ouzo-flavored shrimp, and the homemade ice cream – all excellent choices. The owners and staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even more special. Definitely worth a visit! 🌟
