Hauer Cukrászda és Kávéház

My wife and I visited Budapest back in December and found this place through a food tour. The staff is friendly and exceptional at their job. The desserts are like nothing else we have ever had. We went 4 times while we were there and every recommendation the waiter made was incredible. It is a must if you are in Budapest. I can't wait to get back and go there.

Absolutely delicious cakes and sweets. They make excellent traditional Hungarian and non-Hungarian cakes, beautifully presented. It's very reasonably priced for the quality. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is magnificent, very majestic. It's a gem in Budapest.

Located on the outskirts of Budapest inner city, this "conditorei" is quaint and quiet coffee/tea salon where you can grab some delicious pastries. Service staff is welcoming and reactive. Coffees were good -the Dobos was a bit dry though. My take: this place is a nice option for a rest if you are sightseeing outside Budapest inner city!

Such a beautiful and lovely café in Budapest. Strongly recommend to visit it. Good decorated rooms, tasty desserts and coffee. We enjoyed it.

Really nice old confectioner's. We had really delicious breakfast here. Fresh juice was fantastic as well as omelet and filled toasts. Cakes looked amazing but we didn't try it because we were totally full after breakfast.

A hidden gem of a coffeehouse with an interesting history and tasty desserts. It is really cheap compared with the touristic cafe New York, but the quality of drinks and cakes is really high, in my opinion. Every time we came there, there were some locals in the cafe. And that is the proof enough for me. Highly recommended!

Patisserie ripped of from the paste. Everything looks very old, but well maintained. Dobosz and Esterhazy cake were just like they should be. It's note close to other touristic attractions in Budapest, but if you are nearby, don't miss some it. Most of the visitora looked like a locals. Young girl was reading some notes (preparing for the exam?), a guy was finishing some work on his computer (lots of spreadsheets)...completely opposite to historical look of the pastry shop.

A very good place to start your day with breakfast.The omelette with cheese and bacon is a must and also the lemonade with the strawberry flavor(I know it's strange to drink fresh lemonade with fresh strawberry inside but the combination was surprisingly good!)The service was very good and the prices were normal.The croissant was a bit small but tasty and fresh.
