"With its soft, sandy shoreline and sparkling blue waters, Haulover Beach spans 1.5 miles between the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. There’s also a tennis center, golf course, and dog park. However, keep in mind that some parts of Haulover Beach are clothing-optional (it’s one of Florida’s best-known nude beaches)." - Travel + Leisure Editors

This place is a complete vibe. The sand is white, the water is warm (End of June), and *most* of the people are chill. I usually go to Gunnison Beach in NJ, but now I have a new favorite. Looking forward to visiting again and again when in Miami. May never go to South Beach again.

Google
Amazing to be FREE of clothing and just letting go of any stress or negativity. Would have been better if the bathrooms were on the beach side of the boardwalk. Unfortunately, you have to cover up to go to the restroom because of its location. The restroom is the last photo and it stands alone just outside of the beaches nude area, opposite of where my wife is standing on the blue entrance way. Alcohol is technically not allowed (see sign) but a lot of people had drinks. We saw people mixing drinks in cups and some had used other bottle such as a Gatorade bottle that obviously wasn’t Gatorade. I wasn’t aware of this when we came and I still just used my koozie to keep my beer cool as originally planned. We sat fairly close to the lifeguard station and nobody ever said anything about it. You likely won’t have an issue, just don’t flash it or act stupid. But if something does come up, just know it lawfully isn’t allowed and you’ll just have to suck it up and pay the fine. If you’re new to this or have never done it. Just go. Whether it’s here or a nudist resort, just go. You’ll be glad you did. Note: If you go to a resort, just make sure it’s a true nudist resort and not a swingers resort unless that’s what you’re looking for. Nothing wrong with either, everyone has their thing, just pointing out there are two separate types and you should find what you’re actually looking for. If you’re a nudist in a swingers area, you might be uncomfortable. If you’re a swinger in a nudist area, you might be a disappointed.

Google
Great beach, didn’t really get into the water as I arrived late and they close around 7p (very strict about this). The parking was a bit of a mess due to construction and closed lots but I still enjoyed myself with friends.

Google
One of my favorite beaches in Miami—far from the hustle and bustle of South Beach. It’s peaceful, unpretentious, and beautifully scenic. Go early in the morning to soak in the silence and solitude.

Google
One of our favorite beaches to go to when flying into FLL. The parking is easy, pay by phone app at $8.xx per day. If you're early, you can snag a good shady spot up front by the trees or the few trees large enough in the parking lot. After 4pm in the summer, park closer to the Marine building and your car will be shaded the entire time. There are bathrooms w/ shower/rinse stations outside the beach. The shower inside the beach to rinse before dressing is my favorite of the place. There are rentals available and a food truck there now. We nearly never have any behavior problems from others and if there are, moving further south down the beach can resolve it. There tend to be less people that direction and hardly anyone playing music loudly.

Google
One of my favorite places to stop by every time I come to Miami. Open space with beaches in the sea, right in front of you. You can relax and forget about almost everything…. If you wanna get naked, do it, if not, then don’t do it. I really like this place a lot. I’m from New York so I truly appreciate peaceful time and sea water!!!

Google
Ive never been to a cloths optional beach before this one. Watching the sunrise and being able to be cloths free was the best experience I've ever had. It was so beautiful and the people were extremely nice. This place gave me a sense of self confidence where I can be comfortable in my own body.

Yelp
There are so many things you can do at this massive park. Features: Huge dog park. Skate park. Dog beach. Fishing. Boat watching. Picnicking. Swimming. Sunbathing. Ice cream. Bike rentals. If you like being outdoors you should definitely come to this park. It has everything you need and more. Parking lots can sometimes fill up but they have an area that gets used for overflow parking as well. Come early on busy weekends or be prepared for a bit of a walk. Reasonable prices for parking as long as you plan to spend some time here.

Christine B.

Yelp
The water is so blue here. Bathrooms are clean. Easy rentals for umbrella, chair, etc. There are food trucks on the beach. Nude areas separated kinda into areas. Gay area, couples, etc. Clothing optional. It was pretty chill.

Michael T.

Yelp
Been doing to the beach here for years. First time in the dog park. Largest one in North Dade. It was clean with plenty of shaded seating. Highly recommend it. Easy pay by phone parking.

Martha C.

Yelp
Large beach and bay park on both sides of the A1A. Parking on the marina side opens earlier, the lots by the dog park and skate park open at 8. Nice beach path and tunnels under the main road let you get in a good 5k walk or run. Parking on the weekend is 10 all day, but if you are visiting the dog park you can do an hour or two hour allotment for less.

Henley D.

Yelp
Genuinely some of the rudest people I have ever met after we bought gas and 40+ dollars of items from their store. Do not recommend. The biggest power trip I have ever witnessed.

Clara A.

Yelp
This is the dog park of this beach. For a dog beach it's fairly clean and not too overcrowded. The waves were strong today and huge. Lots of wind and lots of friendly dogs. Once you get to the park based off the gps make sure you know that you have to keep driving down to lot 3 and 4 that's the entrance if you want to go to the dog side.

Otty B.

Yelp
This spot is amazing. The beach water is crystal clear, and there are plenty of tables for grilling or picnics. It's really safe, and the parking lot is well-maintained.

Edward M.

Yelp
This was my wife's and my first time at the world-famous Haulover Beach. I'd been to China Beach in St. Martin, but this took the concept of nude beach to a whole nother level! I'm not going to say whether we participated in the nudeness, but the beach and surf itself was outstanding and the clientele was, shall I say, very interesting. So, if you aren't put off by such things, it is probably an interesting tourist stop. It is a bit of a hike from South Beach, where we stayed, but you can get there by Uber/Lyft in 30-35min for ~$30, or you can take a couple of trolley busses for free to 88th street and walk a couple of miles if you are up to it (which is what we ended up doing). If you hike, wear comfortable shoes! My wife and I wore water sandals and ended up with some gnarly blisters on our heels that we had to deal with for the rest of the week! We had hoped to find a rental bike rack once we got to 88th, but we never did, unfortunately. To get oriented, Haulover Park starts right over the bridge to the bay and the south end of the beach starts there as well. That is a family-friendly section of the beach which is clothing required and far enough away from the clothing optional section that your 13-year-old son won't risk an early anatomy lesson! The clothing optional section starts farther north and is marked by a hurricane fence on the beach. It is easiest, however, to walk the path to the West that follows the beach and the tower access path number was 15. You could also take the Miami Beach bus from South Beach all the way to Haulover, but my wife didn't have her phone so we couldn't sign up to pay. At the time of this writing though, starting on 11/17/2023 the bus lines were going to be free while they revamped their bus system. If we ever go back, we will probably utilize the bus to keep it simple, whether we have to pay or not!

Yelp
I visited March 2023. Haulover Beach is about a 20 minutes drive from Turnberry Resort in Aventura where I vacationed. During my visit, there were only a few family beach goers. It is spacious with clean picnic family areas throughout and a large paid parking lot. Check their website for additional information before your visit.

Yelp
Haulover Beach in Miami is an absolute gem for anyone who enjoys the naturist lifestyle. My wife and I travel the world, and Haulover Beach is by far our favorite nude beach. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and we've met so many cool and like-minded people here. The beach itself is stunning, with soft sand, clear waters, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sun. Whether you're new to the lifestyle or a seasoned pro, Haulover Beach is a must-visit. For more fun ideas and experiences, follow us on Instagram @sirwally1!

Yelp
When I was a kid, one of my relatives would joke that the "haul" meant you'd be swimming under garbage #dadjoke Located on both sides of Collins Avenue, Haulover Beach is one of those magic things that makes Miami a water sports town and famous for its beaches. There's a water sports rental area, a family friendly beach, a doggie beach and a "let it all hang out" beach. There's also a running track, which is what brought me here Sunday morning. That's right, the morning after Grand Tasting I was leaving my house around 530AM to take part in the 6th Annual Bal Harbour PD 5K race. Sponsored by the municipal department, this race course started on the western side and under the bridge where I was lucky to catch the sunrise. The course itself was along the asphalt patch parallel to the beach for the 3.1 miles. The asphalt was pretty well maintained for fitness enthusiasts. As it were, other folks not taking part in the 5K were also working out there. I was able to personally hit an under 12 minute mile, not bad for alternating between power walk and sprints. It was one of the few times that it was ok to speed past a cop.

Yelp
I have been many times to haul over park but that was always by boat. Today I visited the dog park which is very large and has 2 sections for small and large dogs. Lots of parking and they use the app to pay for the parking space.

Yelp
Haulover Park in Miami was my weekend destination every Saturday and on holidays for five years! My Florida boyfriend was kinky and definitely a nudist. Needless to say five years is my relationship limit. It ended when I moved back where I was born in New York! During the five years I visited Haulover we spent our time in the clothing optional section. The clothing-optional area features lifeguards and a food and umbrella rental concession. It is the largest public nudist beach in the U.S. and attracts 1.3 million visitors per year. Having been here many times I can say it is a well cared for beach. There's a clear delineation at the North and the South with signs designating the strip of beach that is clothing optional. Also the signs are located as you enter from the street and parking lot. There's no reason to be surprised by the nudity. There's adequate warning. There's a nudist community that has formed. If you are frequently a sunbather at this beach you may see the same familiar faces. People walk along the strip back and forth for exercise. Also the swimming is as great here as it is anywhere in South Florida. You will see all ages including elderly and families with children. There's plenty of tourists. Many regulars are seasonal Florida Residents coming from Canada and the Northeast during the Winter. Nudist or not, you may enjoy visiting this well kept section of Haulover Park.

Andrea A.

Yelp
The best place in Miami to rent bicycles for adults and kids as well as electric bikes. Good people, very friendly.

Anne A.

Yelp
I visited the dog park side of the beach and not the nudist beach. I was there at sunset and didn't see it in its sunshine glory. While in the water, I spotted the head and face of a shark trying to identify if I was dinner. Scary stuff. On my way back to my car, I got attacked by mosquitoes which reminded me how much I love LA beaches. Yes, cold water, but I won't get attacked by mosquitoes and never in my life have I seen a shark face. Beware of mosquitos and sharks!

Jade B.

Yelp
Welcoming and peaceful. One of the best places to go for a relaxing beach day. Nice and quiet, not too far from activities and shopping centers.

Debbie F.

Yelp
Haulover Park was introduced to me on YouTube. I very spent many a hour laughing and yelling out from my emotions like... oh nooooo .., what were you thinking now that's a nice boat and Stupid Alert Ahead while watching people fall off boats, boats sinking and the patrol working hard to keep people from drowning while transferring from calm water to a hard current choppy transfer to get to the ocean. I finally got to go enjoy this action LIVE and could honestly sit for hours watching them go out and in the transfer here. Haulover is beach front on one side and intracoastal on the other ending at the cut with a park setting in between. The marina gives you charter boats and yachts and the beach offers optional attire and attire beach choices. In between it gives a great place for your dogs to run and a nice skateboard park. Places for Picnics and event spaces. So if you havent seen their entertainment try them on YouTube and definitely stop by when in Miami.

Chanel B.

Yelp
Probably the best dog beach and park I have found in the Miami area. I just wish it was closer to where we were staying. I love the dog park as well. It is a large size for both small and big dogs. Each has their designated area.

Brittany M.

Yelp
The sign and nudity bathing is near the life guard marker 14 and you can start from there and go north towards the hotels, personally did not get undressed this time but everyone there was very respectful and casual. The beach was nice and also dog friendly which is a plus!

AshleyMarie O.

Yelp
I love this beach. Its about 20-25 minutes from my house but its a place where you can easily spend ALL DAY. Personally, I go for the VERY VERY large dog park, then hit up the Dog Beach (between the 2nd & 3rd towers) then move over to the inlet for sunset. The have nice Bathrooms on premise as well as an area to wash off your doggo as well as your own tired feetsies. But they also have: Bike Rentals Kite Rentals Fishing Boats I don't even know what else

Mark M.

Yelp
Went here on Valentine's Day (81°) and the place was busy, but there was still parking available near the beach. The water is nice and clear here with no sign of seaweed. The sand is clean and light colored, but coarser than other areas throughout Miami Beach. The water was too cold for me in February, but nice to be nearby nonetheless. This place has a lot to offer. There are many different sections of this beach, including the dog beach area, and nude beach area. There are tall round rest/change rooms near the beach, as well as body/foot showers. Everyone was respectful to one another here. It's very nice and relaxing. Parking is nearby in Lots 2 and 3. Only $7 and change for the whole day, and a short walk to the beach. If those are full, park across the street in Lot 1 and walk through the underground tunnel for access to the beach.

Ben R.

Yelp
Not remote like similar places can be; plenty of parking; easy walk up to sand; friendly atmosphere; several beach showers to rinse off; had a good day:)

Vida L.

Yelp
I have been coming to this beach since i was a teen in 1986 & I always layout in the same exact spot and tower! It's my favorite beach and never had a problem with anyone here. $6 to park all day long on weekdays and I think it's just $1 more on weekends! I come here to de-stress without having to pay exorbitant parking fees or the hassle of finding a relatively open spot far away from people! I know there's a lot of speculation and judgment when it comes to nude beaches but I have never been ashamed or embarrassed of my body, no matter what since and people here could care less. They don't gawk at you nor is it the oft times sexualized indecent place where people are fornicating Willy nilly lol! If you've summered or been to Europe, than you'll understand the culture here. For those newbies who are afraid about who will see them, or what people may think, or that their nude pics will somehow end up on pornhub, there's a section for normal sunbathers and you all can walk over to the other side and just scope things out. It's clothing optional, nobody's forced to be nude. I say DO IT! It's very liberating and it'll open your eyes in many positive ways.

Chris C.

Yelp
Spend an amazing weekend with my spouse in the north end of Haulover. The nude beach was a great time and everyone conducted themselves with nothing but respect. Lots of regulars that had a down to earth vibe and great conversations were made. This was our first of hopefully many more visits from Texas.

Elyse T.

Yelp
Honestly we don't even say that we're going to Miami anymore we just say we're going to Haulover because this is our favorite place to visit for their beautiful nude beach. There are sections of the beach that are for normal sunbathers but there is also a nude beach section and it's HUGE. There's also vendors that will rent you chairs and umbrellas if you need it for the day. There are not a lot of food vendors and no alcohol vendors so bring whatever you're wanting to eat or drink for the day with you. There is parking in the state park across the street and you can walk through a tunnel to get over to the beach or you can have an Uber drop you off. We've done it both ways and the cost is about the same. Clean beaches, beautiful blue water, and a lot of space to just enjoy the sunshine!

Ariel W.

Yelp
One of two public beaches in Miami, Haulover Park is a 177 acre park located between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. It has an impressive 1.4 miles of beachfront. Parking in the lot is $5 weekdays for cars and $7 on the weekends. Originally called North Beach, it contained a Lighthouse Restaurant, a trailer a small refreshment stand, and charter boat piers. The land was acquired by the Dade County Commission in 1935. Construction of facilities began in 1941 but was held up by WWII and were completed after the war. Haulover Park was renamed in January 1947 and opened to the public the following year in 1948. Legend has it the name Haulover came from a fisherman named Philip Edward Baker (1832-1898) who would haul is sponge boat from Key Biscayne over the dunes by cutting a path through the mangrove forest. An area on the maps marked Baker's Haulover in 1823 which people then called Haulover as other generations of fisherman continued the practice. During the Prohibition era, boats would arrive from the Bahamas to deliver whiskey. Alcohol would be to be hauled over the beach to the bayside where speed boats would take it north up north up the Intracoastal Waterway. Haulover beach is historically significant for being a beach the Barefoot Mailmen traveled. The Barefoot Mailmen were US postal workers who delivered the mail in South Florida from 1885 to 1893 by walking barefoot on the beach from Palm Beach to Miami. A sign dedicated to the mailman is located on Haulover Beach in front of the lifeguard building. The Miami portion of the trip took place on Wednesday when the Barefoot Mailman was transported by boat down the New River to its inlet and then walked down the beach until reaching Baker's Haulover Inlet at the north end of Biscayne Bay. The mailman would then sail across Biscayne Bay to deliver the mail in Miami. The return trip back up north would begin early on Thursday. The northern .4 mile stretch of beach is infamous for being clothing optional. It is the largest nudist beach in the U. S. and attracts 1.3 million visitors annually. It was designated clothing optional in 1991 by a Dade County ordinance. As Florida law generally does not allow public nudity, Haulover is one of the few places nudists can go in public. Haulover park has many amenities. The park has a marina, tennis courts, and an enclosed dog park. There are picnic areas, restrooms, and lifeguards. You can go swimming but all flotation devices have been banned from Miami-Dade County beaches since the early 2000s. The park has a great bike bike path and if you don't have one they can be rented from Electribike Miami in the picnic area adjacent to the bark park. Haulover Beach is also known for it's kite flying. It is the location of Skyward Kites, which has a large selection of kites and spinners. The beach is the site of a biannual kite festival.

Sarah P.

Yelp
So today we visited the actual Haulover dog beach. I saw hardly any dogs at all and would not have none it was actually a dog beach! It was relatively quiet, maybe as it was a Monday? The water was very clear for Miami, probably due to the covid virus, where we have given the ocean and nature back to the elements and not contributing to messing it all up! As we say in England 'the proof is in the pudding" - and my husband, daughter and brother are scientists, and they confirm all this, as do our own eyes!! The beach was lovely and clean and everyone was social distancing. We walked to the water way and enjoyed watching the boats entering the coastal way. A lovely, lovely beach, I will be back. I have also been on the beach side near the Ritz hotel - where you can access the pier - which is also lovely. I have also been to the park side, across the road, when T went to the kite festival ! A really special side of Miami in my humble opinion!

Leila R.

Yelp
Docked a star because no signage about bathroom closure 30mins before park close and there isn't much signage about what time the park actually closes (I was told "sunset", but that's so vague). They closed the bathroom @4:30pm when sunset was officially at 5:40pm!? The attendant closing it was extremely rude and when asked where I was supposed to pee, she just pointed to the ocean!? Gross. It's paid parking at the connected lots. The lots connect through a lit tunnel, but still a lil sketch after dark. There is a paved trail that goes between the tunnel and the sand. Stay alert because cyclists come down the pavement full speed and there were even a couple of cars, though how they got there was a mystery... The beach itself has lifeguard posts w/color-coded flags about the water conditions, but nowhere on the beach where the meaning of the colored flags could be easily found. We were able to figure out what they meant because we googled them. This doesn't seem very safety or informationally oriented, but is what it is, I guess. Beach was fairly clean, but sand was a bit rough. Water had a lot of seaweed and there was a "dangerous marine life" alert (purple flag) with lots of visible jellyfish strewn down the shoreline. But, there was a nice breeze and it wasn't that crowded. Don't know that I'd go out of my way to specifically come here. There are much nicer beaches elsewhere.

Max K.

Yelp
Pretty decent beach. The parking is across the road and you walk through a tunnel that goes under the main road. The parking is NOT free. Part of the beach is designated clothes optional, it's not a super big area so everyone is decently close together. There are outside showers and bathrooms back toward the main beach. The bathrooms close thirty minutes before the park.

Nora A.

Yelp
1. A flat fee to park (this is a big PLUS because you don't have to keep adding more time)...it's about $7 & change on the weekends for a car. 2. Parking is easy to find 3. It's a gorgeous beach (just wish there was less seaweed but its nature so you have to take it as is. I went recently and the water was clear (I was able to see a cute fish swimming around) 4. Part of it is a park (where you can bbq) and the opposite side is where you'd swim 5. Feeling a bit wild? There's a section of the swimming area where clothing is optional This is one of the first beaches I visited when I moved to Miami many moons ago. It's still one of my favorite because for the most part it's family friendly. If you don't mind walking you can also walk to the pier that is close enough for you to see. If you are planning to swim please do know that you have to go up the stairs (keep that in mind in case you're not physically capable of doing so). If you're handicap they have a parking right by the beach so you don't have to take the stairs. Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Anthony W.

Yelp
Love love love this place! The fact I can bring my dog to the beach is fantastic, parking is super easy , with paths leading you right to the beach! Lifeguard towers are marked and visible. The people I encountered were simply nice. Everyone's dogs were well behaved and obedient. Plenty of space for dogs to run off leash and still not be crowding beach goers. At the end of the day there is a wash station set up for you to clean your dog or yourself. I 1000 percent will be coming back . Live laugh and Bark

Tanya P.

Yelp
First this a review from my trip back in October of last year. ..yeah I'm late so sue me!! Cool part about this beach there is a flat fee to park. No rushing off or remembering to add more time. It's about $7 There wasn't alot of ppl at the park during the week so parking is easy to find. It's a super gorgeous beach Oh an if your feeling a bit of a wild spark? There's a section of the swimming area where clothing is optional . This is one of the only beaches I visited on my trip to Miami. It's still one of my favorite mostly in part it's family friendly. If you don't mind walking you can also walk to the pier that is close enough for you to see. If you are planning to swim please do know that you have to go up the stairs (keep that in mind in case you're not physically capable of doing so). If you're handicap they have a parking right by the beach so you don't have to take the stairs.

Yelp
Great Pump Track and a very nice beach to check out after skating. Definitely can also check out the peer setting

Isabel C.

Yelp
Love coming here on a Sunday morning!!! Super relaxing place, this beach is family friendly and that's the best part

Bites B.

Yelp
Great way to start your morning and the perfect place for an inexpensive date One of our favorite things to do while in Florida is waking up early, sitting on the sand, catching the sunrise on the beach and walking along the shore. Haulover Beach is perfect for this and so much more. We've seen other people riding their bikes, running, jogging, bird watching, skateboarding, and swimming early in the morning. The beach is also pet friendly so you can bring your dog to the beach and even go for a swim. We've also been here late at night for quick and easy date nights out. We usually bring some wine and some charcuterie and just talk the night away. Because Haulover Beach holds a special place in our hearts , we're giving this place 5/5 stars Find a more detailed review below Ambiance (5/5 Stars) (Clean, pet friendly, peaceful and romantic! It's the perfect place to come by yourself, with your partner, family, friends or fur babies!) Price (5/5 Stars) (Parking and admission is free, making this a great option for those looking for something to do for not a lot of money!)

Paulet D.

Yelp
Love coming here specially with family for a good barbecue/beach day. You can get a great workout in too, rent bikes and ride bikes along the pathway. For parties and bbq's if you make it in early you can get a few tables in a good area with grills or you can bring your own grill. The water is clean and perfect. The marina is right there so if you own a boat/jetski you can come enjoy the day with them too. Absolutely recommend coming here.

Zee A.

Yelp
Highly recommend. It's a great place to just hang out and go for a swim but you can also view the inlet and watch people struggle to get out or come in. Quite entertaining. It's family friendly depending on where you are. They have a great skate park as well as a wonderful dog park. Little and big dogs are separated. I have been numerous times and it is still one of my go to spots in the area.

Duana M.

Yelp
I'm reviewing the dog park and dog beach. The dog park is nice and tranquil with a lot of shaded areas for your dogs to rest after running around in the sunny spots. There are picnic tables so you can relax while your dog is playing. The beach is nice but has a tendency to be littered. Too many chip bags floating along the shore, sadly. I drive more than 5 miles to be able to bring my dog here. Interesting tip, if you're worried about your super energetic dog at the beach, take them to the park first to burn some energy for an hour and then walk over to the beach.

Ludwin L.

Yelp
Best place to chill with the family, and also to bring your pets, place is clean and quite never really crowded, so that's a plus

Judy S.

Yelp
I was here for the kite festival and I had a good time. This is a great festival for the family. They have food truck, bounce houses, face painting, vendors, kids activities and a band playing. There are so many beautiful kites. What a beautiful sight. They have some huge kites and smaller ones too. Some people have gotten really creative with the kites. This was a nice relaxing festival.

Kat B.

Yelp
This park is absolutely excellent! We couldn't get enough of it. Super clean, great and cheap parking, and gorgeous. The beach here is perfect: clear water, clean beach, beautiful soft sand. There is virtually no trash on this beach, which surprised me. Also, the restrooms are well-maintained. I wasn't apprehensive at all to use the restrooms at this park. On the beach, it's not super crowded at all. I wasn't afraid for my personal belongings as I frolicked in the water. I didn't have to keep one eye glued to my stuff like so many other beaches. I could lay out on a towel without being approached by someone. Big win for me! I really liked the parking here. Depending on which lot you choose, the fee is either $5 or $6, and you can easily pay for parking at a kiosk. Also, the parking is on the other side of Collins, which is a super horrendously busy road. However, they have tunnels to walk to the beach! Yay! Beats becoming roadkill by a speeding Bentley any day!

Yelp
Do you like getting naked and going swimming in the ocean? Then this place is for you! You will find every age, skin color, and body type at this beach. It's really quite beautiful. This stretch of beach is usually very clean, and the water is normally blue-clear. I highly recommend you step out of your comfort zone and check out this section of Haulover Beach at least once.

Yelp
I am upset at myself that I didn't post my review sooner because the ladies at the office deserve a big shout out. Maria, Línchele and Sherena are so friendly and sweet, Maria is thorough and very helpful. The location is beautiful and the facilities are spotless. I rented pavilion 2 water front next to bathrooms. WOW is the only word I can use to describe what a beautiful place. The pavilion was impeccably clean and so were the restrooms. You saw staff present at all times throughout the day checking over the area to make sure everything was ok. We didn't use the grill, but definitely planning a next one soon just so we can see the ladies again!

Yelp
FREE dog beach (you will only have to pay for parking; plenty of parking lots nearby). Can be a little tricky to find if you rely on Apple Maps (GPS). Long piece of shoreline (and ocean) dedicated to dogs and the best part, no restricted hours like many other dog beaches. My dog and I always enjoy going, and for the most part we've met very friendly dogs here!

Yelp
I am absolutely obsessed with the dog beach section here. It's got amazing blue water, clean sand, and it's so much fun for the pups. It *seems* like everyone picked up after their dogs from what I can tell, and the other dogs were pretty friendly. There's also a wash station to rinse your dog off after swimming and playing, and a regular dog park section where your dog can run around as they dry off. The only issue I had was that my dogs kept trying to eat the pieces of coral and sponges that came up on the beach. Still gets a 5/5 and I'd give it a 6/5 if I could! Even if your dog doesn't swim, I think it's a lovely area to go and lay out for the day. Almost forgot to mention- parking fee is SUPER CHEAP at just $2 per vehicle! That might just be my favorite thing about this place (lol)!

Yelp
One of the best places on earth.... COVID-19 Protocol in place.... there are limited amount of unbrellas and chairs available for rent. Social Distancing is left up to the individual but everyone seems to be more than 6ft apart or more Lifeguards are super friendly and super nice. Water is beautiful... very clean beach, only sea trash that washes ashore. Food truck available if you need water or more. Come for the sunrise... its the most beautiful thing to experience

Yelp
This beach is beautiful. I came to the dog beach and was disappointed to find out it was only open until 4 pm. I drove almost an hour to get here to find this out. So make sure you get here early!! I also had a hard time finding it. You have to go alllllll the way around and under a bridge aftw you get to the gps location.
