On the Grid : The Gallows

"There's no other way to put it, The Gallows is just a really awesome bar. It's a neighborhood haunt at it's heart, with a staff that will likely remember your name as well as your drink order. The bar serves up inventive cocktails based on classic recipes often with a flare for kitschy concoctions. The food menu is made of risky translations of American comfort food like a grilled corn muffin with pulled pork, jalapeño pepper jelly, avocado and pickled red onion or the Carpet Burger topped with fried oysters, chipotle rémoulade, grilled onions and cheese. Daily poutines are an instant bar favorite. It can get a bit loud, but that's part of it's charm." - Adam&Co.

Went last night. Our group fully enjoyed Haunted Hallows. The outdoor setup was perfect and just cool to walk through. The trails and rooms were creative. I loved pushing open doors and having to walk through a small refrigerator! There were some confined spaces to walk through, which made it even more creepy. All staff were very nice. The actors were very active and gave 110% effort. They even crawl on the ground! We didnt want to leave!

From the girls who show you where to park, to any one of the staff you come across.. all A+ people! Worth purchasing the VIP pass in my opinion as these places can get packed. 3 attractions and they are all great.. definitely will be coming back!!!!!!!

We had a great time at the Haunted Gallows! Everyone was great and the maze was a ton of fun! Bathsheba’s woods had a very cool spooky vibe. Will definitely come back again and have already recommended to some friends!

i don’t write reviews often but i went here on a whim tn and had a blast. could easily be a 10/10 haunt if they’d cast just a few more people with like scary masks or something. loved the actors tho. took wayyy longer to get thru than i had anticipated which was awesome. i’ll probably go back again sometime during october.

Bathsheba’s woods was VERY creepy. The clown maze was awesome but they definitely need more actors cause there were a lot of places where it looks like an actor should be but they were lacking the help and that’s no fault of their own! 10/10 would recommend!

Been to many haunted places over the years including six flags fright fest. This was by far our favorite yet. Pulled into to an old creepy farm with truly haunted house thats hasn't been occupied in years creating a spooking vibe. The owner even told us a story of how when she lived there as a little girl she used to see a lady with a lantern. Luckily the house wasn't part of the attraction! The whole thing was super well down. Several different walking areas. Took about 45 minutes total. Lots of people working. Actors got into their roles rather than just doing jump scares. Got there at 630 no lines was dark by the time we started. Kids were 11/12/13

Yelp
Our first-time experience at the haunted gallows was impressive, to say the least. The farm's ambiance effectively primed us for the haunted attraction that followed. Although the actor count was somewhat lower than expected, those present delivered commendable performances, demonstrating a clear passion for the haunt. One actress, affectionately known as the "chicken lady," was particularly memorable, showcasing her ability to read her audience and respond with humor while engaging with the baby chicks and ducks. The church scene was a masterclass in atmospheric design, with cleverly synchronized lighting effects that amplified the tension, paired with strong performances from the actors. The mineshaft actor is worthy of praise for their ability to cover the entire area, creating the convincing illusion of multiple actors. The circus maze haunted attraction was another triumph, with actors delivering performances that were equal parts unsettling and entertaining. The deliberate inclusion of unexpected dead ends and unclear navigation only added to the experience. This was a truly memorable experience, underscoring the care, creativity, and dedication to the macabre that defines this small, family-owned business. We are eager to return next year. Also, you see a lot of people bashing this because it's not like run by a corporation that can afford a ridiculous amount of animatronic props and what not and they're offended by being scared by actors in a church scene I mean, seriously grow up people

Yelp
Every year it gets better! Perfect spooky experience and a great family night out !!!

Yelp
The paths are unpaved and unlit with roots sticking out every where. An absolute accident waiting to happen. Can't believe they are allowed to operate. We wanted to do dark Fair first but they were having technical problems. We were assured if we did Bathsheba first Dark Fair would be ready. It was still not ready after Bathsheba, and they couldn't give us an approximate time also would not give partial refund. It could be a fun place but it's just a giant hazard now. The idea has merit the venue is awful.

Yelp
The Haunted Gallows is located on a dirt road just south of Uxbridge an the MA state line. I was with two adults and two children. Our scheduled entrance time was 7:30 on a Saturday evening and the line was fairly long. They we're letting up to four people enter each attraction, but all 5 of us went together because of the kids. It took us about 30 minutes in line for the Dark Fair and a 5 minute wait for the Woods attraction, the kids were scared and stayed close to us, but the adults were more amused by some of the exhibits. The cost was $22 and there were unexpected expenses such as a $5 parking charge, $5 for one cotton candy, and $5 for 5 minutes throwing an axe at a target. I must say the axe throwing was fun. Overall the adults had a good time and kids did get a few scares in, but we probably won't go again.

Yelp
Great new Haunt 2022 with 3 attractions, there is something for everyone. Dark Fair with a fun carnival theme is both tricky and scary, Boo patch is family friendly fun, and the woods are eerily scary.

Yelp
If I could give no stars I would. There were like 3 actors inside the trail you went through. We waited probably 30 minutes in a line for this. The whole time we were waiting for people to jump out and it rarely happened. Every "actor" they have clearly don't know how to do their jobs. Hands down the worst attraction we've ever been to. On top of it sucking one of the women actors hit my daughter over her head with her "weapon" and left a big bump on her head. Waste of time, go to any other attraction RI has you're not missing anything here besides being assaulted and bored.
