Beautiful home, quiet with a view of the mountains. Inviting pool, very relaxing place. Large bedroom and bathroom, balcony, super comfortable bed, clean. |Friendly and kind hosts, very helpful. We enjoyed nice conversations and tips on things to do and restaurants to try. Amazing breakfast with lots of choices. Easy to get to get to restaurants and to Salzburg. We stayed 4 nights and were sad to leave.

During our time in Austria, this was our favorite place to stay. It is outside of Salzburg but easy to get to the center of Salzburg by bus. During our stay we explored the sites outside of Salzburg and had a car, with plenty of free parking at the Haus. It was very easy to visit Hallstatt, Berchtesgaden, Chiemsee, and other areas.|Walter and Gudrun are wonderful hosts and we had many good conversations. They treated us like family.|We had an upstairs room with a great view. The room was very clean and comfortable.|Breakfast was a grand buffet with so many delicious items, we didn't have the same thing twice. And of course Timmy was always there with a bark and a smile. We highly recommend Haus am Moos.

I had a truly wonderful stay at Haus am Moos and warmly recommend it to anyone visiting Salzburg. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, offering a restful night’s sleep after a full day of exploring. The breakfast was extensive, fresh, and delicious, with plenty of variety to suit all tastes — a perfect start to the day. What made the experience truly memorable was the genuine warmth and hospitality of the hosts. Every interaction felt welcoming and attentive. The location is also ideal: peaceful countryside surroundings with a spectacular view of the mountains, yet still just a short bus ride away from the city center. The property is easy to reach by public transport, and the bus stop is within walking distance. One of the highlights was the outdoor swimming pool, which was a refreshing treat after a day in the sun. Relaxing by the pool while taking in the breathtaking Alpine scenery is something I won’t forget. Thank you for a fantastic stay – I hope to return soon!

Brilliant accommodation close to Salzburg. Walter and Gudrun are amazing and caring hosts who create a warm environment for their guests. The breakfast offered was exceptional and I can't wait to see them again soon!!

Very cosy and clean. The owners were very warm and welcoming and gave useful information about getting into and around town. The room was very clean and had a great view into the mountains. The breakfast was also very nice and worth taking, the owners seemed to show interest in each of their guests and went around the tables one by one asking about their stay. The pool was open which was an unexpected bonus! Fantastic area which was 15 mins from the centre on an easy bus ride or if it’s a nice day and you’re feeling adventurous then it’s just over an hour walk but through some nice scenery to enjoy.

Off the main highway, plenty of private parking, close to bus stop for direct line to Saltzburg centre. Quality throughout, nice clean rooms, breakfast like a 5 star hotel, lots of seating indoor /outdoor garden but sheltered. Not advertised is a shared well equipped kitchenette with fridge to prepare own drinks, snacks etc, that is very accomodating. Great views of snow capped mountain just across the valley. Supermarkets and restaurant within a couple of km. Owners and staff very friendly, English spoken, WiFi at rocket speed and free. Very popular, and recommend, book early!

Clean and big rooms, excelent view, only one bus to.city center. Great breakfast

Nothing like having Walter (the owner) to ask questions to each morning. Scrambled eggs are now included with breakfast. Bus stop is a short walk away. Bus 21 will take you right to the old town area by the river.
