Went on a quick day trip to Salem this past weekend and loved HausWitch! Staff was super welcoming and friendly and were very kind to me and my pup! Love the variety of items they carry! I got a candle and mystery tarot! The vibes are amazing, can’t wait to go back!

I have been waiting forever to have a chance to visit Salem and this shop. This was by far my favorite shop of all the ones I visited with the absolute best energy. The store is full of all kinds of witchy goodies and gift items. The hardest part was deciding what to buy! Highly recommend!

I can't recommend HausWitch enough! The store is bright, welcoming, and radiates incredible energy the moment you walk in. I booked a tarot workshop here for a bachelorette party, and we all had the most amazing time. Melissa was so kind, insightful, and patient with our group, guiding us through thoughtful, collaborative readings. It was hands-down the best experience we had in Salem, and I’d recommend it to absolutely anyone!

I can’t rave enough about this shop and our experience! We visited in October, and I realize how insane things can get in Salem during that time. We scheduled two back-to-back appointments for our group’s aura readings. The whole experience was lovely — from taking the photos to the reading of your aura. This was by far my highlight of the trip! Thanks to all who made this an easy, enjoyable experience (even for my skeptical family members!).

These girls were SO COOL and we loved their store. So up our alley, a beautiful spot for their wares. Me and my friends all left with goodies. Thanks gals, Florida loves you!!

Such a cute store with some really great products, but my favorite thing by far was the aura readings! It was such a cool experience and the photo is an awesome Salem keepsake. Our readings were very detailed and explained well, and we were given a little simplified "cheat sheet" for what the aura colors represent

Visited this shop this morning with my best friend on our Salem vacation. Easily my favorite shop out of all the ones we visited on our trip. The vibes were immaculate, the shop is beautiful and well organized, the staff was the friendliest and so fun to talk to, and I wanted literally ALL of the things there. Very cool all around. I’m excited that there’s an online shop, and thrilled with my signed copy of Intention Obsession. This place was magical!

Local favorite! Modern and spiritual witch store. Fun and lovely place for all your self-care needs or a wonderful gift for loved ones who are interested in reaching for understanding beyond themselves. Some of the greatest-smelling candles I've ever bought.

HausWitch is a beautiful shop! We had aura pictures taken and enjoyed browsing the books, crystals and spell kits. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Salem this fall! The aura pictures were so much fun and the C readings were spot on.

This is such a cute little shop in the heart of Salem. It's located in the main Essex St. tourist area. They ask you not to take drinks or food in. In fact, they have a cute little cart at the door to place your drinks on. The staff is very attentive and knowledgeable. They offer aura photos and readings. Now, it is small, but it really has some unique items. The store has good energy and has a lightness to it. I can see why all the locals love this shop.

Very cute store but a little bit more pricier than the stores around. I bought a small poster and was surprised it was $40. All the posters around it was $10-$20 but this specific poster didn't have a price tag and I can see why. If you want to do the aura reading you must book in advance. They do get busy and booked to plan accordingly.

The coziest shop with lots of speciality candles, crystals, and spell kits to choose from. The staff were very friendly and made sure to tell me about certain products I looked at, but also gave you space to browse. Loved the decor and overall vibe here.

This is a delightful place to stop on your Salem trip! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the shop offers a lovely and unique range of products we didn't see elsewhere on our trip. Their focus is more so on modern witchcraft practices and offers an inclusive environment for beginners or those just visiting and wanting to learn more about this culture

I've been deeply interested in HausWitch ever since a friend gifted me the HausMagick book for my birthday a few years ago. This was a bucket list visit for me while in Salem. The selection of spiritual shop items wasn't as robust as some of the other local store, but the atmosphere was immaculate. It was aesthetically everything I hoped for. I get the vibe their true speciality and art is more of a gathering space for spiritual classes and readings. I subscribe to their newsletter, and even from a far, I'm always so impressed with their topics, classes offered, and general wisdom. They also support several amazing charitable causes and bring attention to them through their undoubtedly huge newsletter list. If you're in Salem, you simply have to make this part of your local business adventure list.

Absolutely loved getting my aura photo taken and having a well-knowledgeable color reading afterward :D It's $50 to have your picture taken and read. A bit pricey but it's a pretty cool souvenir. I wish I could remember the employee who explained to me what the colors meant because she deserves 10 stars and a name recognition (I feel terrible for not knowing but she has light pink hair). THANK YOU! You made the experience more meaningful and memorable for me. I can tell you know you're stuff and genuinely love giving reading. Your energy and kindness was appreciated. Definitely check out this shop if you're in Salem. They have some pretty cool stuff around the store as well.

Charming store. Had our auras read. Had low expectations, and this turned out to be a highlight of our trip. SO SO good! I thought it was a bit expensive when I got our reservation- totally worth it! And the pictures turned out really well!

We were in search for tarot reading, which lead us to HausWitch. It's beautiful here. The energy is lovely. Picked up these HausWitch tinctures got me so excited. They are curated in house and safe to ingest to put in your bath. Pyrite and Moldavite were the ones. Also, picked up a MoneyWitch Level Up tincture and pulled a Wheel of Fortune. The gal who helped us was really sweet and welcoming.

My friend has scoped out their aura reading photo booth for a while now. We officially made the move which was pretty quick and came at the price of $50 for the singular photo. The employee who read the photo to us was incredibly engaging, animated, and so kind. She gave a thorough explanation of the colors, shaped and location of what was visible. We even went back to ask another quick question in which she promptly answered. Shop is filled to the brim with beautiful and unique items. I would certainly come again to support this wonderful business.

My favorite witch shop in Salem! Friendly helpful, bright, cheery vibes. The atmosphere is light, open and well lit just like the people. I always end up organically drawn to whatever I need on my visit. The tours they offer are also incredible! Been coming back for years!

We were in Salem for a day towards the end of October in 2020. While most festivities were cancelled, my friend who was gungho about the Salem stuff booked plenty in advance and we had a full day of things to do. One of those things on the list was an appointment to shop at HausWitch. Our private shopping appointment felt very VIP as passers by were vying for a spot to get in, but if you weren't on the list, no crystals for you! Considering it's not my type of store, the place is beautiful... like if a store were an instagram model. As a group we ended up leaving with all sorts of candles, oils, room spray, and more. They had a promo to spend $100 to get a free bag and you can bet your ass we got one. I ended up getting the cool hand embroidered patch. I paid too much for it but if was a memento of the trip and I love embroidery and supporting local artists so it was still a win. The prices were probably the only drawback. I've seen similar products like the crystals going for half the price elsewhere. Other than that, it's a very cool shop.

I think this is my favorite store I've ever been to. If you're into witchy stuff or crystals or candles you definitely need to stop in here. Everyone working with so friendly and helpful and they were really enforcing social distancing and sanitizing. The limited to the store to only a few shoppers. They have an incredible selection of so many cute things. I ended up buying a mug and two little candles that smelled incredible. The candles are seriously some of the best I've ever smelled and so so so strong. There was no need to take your mask off with these. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in town!!

This store was on my bucket list for a recent trip to Salem, as I've been following the store's TikTok account for a while. They had a great selection of different witchcraft supplies. I picked out a few crystals and some moon drops essence. Excited to work with my new tools!

The store is very-well put together and super cute. It's pretty small (especially when it's packed and you can barely walk without bumping into someone), but they were able to get a good selection of stuff in there. My problem with this store is that it seems to be a major tourist trap. Their prices are OUTRAGEOUS. The charge $15 for about 5 incenses tied together with a rope. And then $88 dollars for one small pillow? Everything was marked up at least 2x more than most places I've been to. Definitely uncool. Great to see, but you can find these items way cheaper almost anywhere else.

Awesome place to stop if your in Salem and are into crystals! Defiantly come by and check it for yourself!

I had been following Haus Witch on IG for awhile and it was about half the reason we drove to Salem from Cape Cod for the day. This store and the staff was everything I hoped for. We went to so many touristy witch stores in Salem that were gimmicky and disrespectful/appropriative of other cultures. Haus Witch is the polar opposite. They emphasize using resources that aren't stolen from other cultural backgrounds. The staff is genuine and highly knowledgeable. I love the idea of making the place I spend most of my time (my home) magical and calming, instead of trying to escape to far flung places to find magic that isn't my own.

There is something witchy in Salem and it is HausWitch. This cute little shop has everything, candles, pillows, blankets, books, notebooks, crystals, candles and oils. I loved walking through the store because everything catches your eye. My favorite spot in the store is the table of crystals and their different meanings. It is interesting to see that the different colors of the crystals can enchant a different meaning from power, to tranquility. I also love the jewelry they sell at the store, they are personalized and makes me feel like that piece was made for me. The staff at the shop are sweet and helpful when you are looking around at the large inventory. They are educated on the crystals and the which each stone does to help calm and soothe a person's aura. From pillows, crystals, mugs and candles it seems that this little store in Salem has it all. I love the bag that I own that says, "the moon is in blah and the witches are like Yass" it is so cute and i always get questions about it. I cannot wait to fly back to Boston soon to make a stop in this cute shoppe in the heart of Salem

I was visiting from CA and happened to step into this cute little shop! Staff was super friendly and made sure we sanitized our hands prior to fully entering the shop. I loved all the little trinquetes that they had. I ended up buying one crystal and one "Aries" dropper. Things are a little pricey but nothing too wild.

HausWitch is amazing! It's one of those places where you walk in and immediately think to yourself, "I live here now." Ok, ok.. so maybe I said those words aloud. Who cares?! This place is *that* good! The shop is absolutely beautiful. It's open and flooded with natural light. Everything is crisp and clean; and the white walls, exposed brick, and wood floor don't so much invite you inside, but rather they pull you into your new home. Not kicking and screaming, but willingly. That's right, HausWitch has you now. And now you live here. - At least that's what happened to me on my first (and sadly, so far only) visit. Once I was able to see past the beauty of the actual location I began to look at all of the amazing merchandise that this magic emporium has to offer. It's a small shop, but it boasts so many awesome products. I took my time to make sure that I saw everything. And then I went around the store two more times looking at each item carefully again for good measure. HausWitch carries spell kits, bath salts, crystals, candles, mugs, totes, pillows, posters, essentials oils, and so much more. Since I don't actually live at HausWitch (as I'm sure you guessed, because I'm now writing this review from somewhere - home.. ok, work) eventually I had to leave. I gathered up my crystals and candles I had purchased and, very sadly, walked out the door of this beautiful place I once called home. Since I live in Kentucky, I don't see myself getting to visit HausWitch often; but, if I find myself back in the area you can bet another visit will be at the top of my list!

This is an adorable little house shop in Salem. They have candles, beauty products, textiles, cards, and more. As aesthetically pleasing as everything was, it's a little on the pricier side. I didn't find any candles that I loved the scent of, and they were out of stock of the Virgo perfume I wanted to try. No drinks/food are allowed in store, so keep that in mind when visiting. All in all, it's a great place for gifts, window shopping, etc. and the service is nice as well.

HausWitch has a beautiful aesthetic, and very friendly employees. Their products are lovely - right up my alley; they feature a lot of art from one of my favorite artists, absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, HausWitch does come off as a tourist trap. The prices are insanely high ($28 for a small candle is pretty nuts), the space is insanely tight. Don't even think about coming during October because you will be constantly anxious about bumping candles off the shelves or knocking incense bundles out of fellow patrons hands - really not a peaceful experience.

Channeling your feminist rage has never been this easy! As we walked about Salem enjoying window shopping, we popped into this attractively arranged store. Though we didn't make any purchases, I had a fun time looking around. Everything was adorable and I really enjoyed the witty descriptions of items for sale. This would be an awesome place to grab some fun gifts for a girlfriend. They market the shop as being a healing space that is inclusive to all, but their "hex the patriarchy obsidian points" said otherwise. So if you're a fan of gender oppression, this shop is not for you. I could have stared at the walls for hours just for the aesthetic alone. Precious place!

Always stop by here the few times a year we get to Salem! Beautify designed witchy goods that have an added benefit of looking less conspicuous when family comes to visit. Also frequently place mail orders for their crystals; they have a heavily rotating variety of some harder to find ones!

HausWitch is the best -- I only wish I lived closer! It's such a cozy, welcoming shop packed with amazing products and brands. I'd buy everything if I could... I can't wait to visit again, but lucky for us non-locals, they sell online too!

In the heart of witch city, this place stood out to me the most! Such a modern specialty shop with a ton of crafted goods such as candles, lotions, balms and much more. Right when I walked in, I thought to myself how much I automatically loved it from the decor to the assistance provided from the staff. This store had a ton of stuff including cute little stones and a bunch of meaningful, personalized sweet Knick knacks and amazing art work! I really loved the stationary cards in here too, I did buy a couple. I did not get the chance to do a reading as it had been later in the day and it was almost closing, she was also in the middle of one when we walked in... the smell of the store is also amazing, they're burning those wood wick candles that you can purchase and everything just smells SO good. Candles ranging from rose water, to vanilla and coconut, even firewood... I would totally come back in this store and recommend you do too during your stay! It's a "classy witch" shop lol... if you're going to be a witch, be a sassy and classy witch !

This place is super cute and quaint and full of great crystals and cute tarot decks and they support BLM, they're against white supremacy, they're feminists & support LGBTQ+ so I totally felt welcomed there! Only reason I took a star off is everything is quite pricey there compared to other shops! If you want good quality and fairly priced crystals check out Village Silversmith which is in the main shopping center area!

I really like HausWitch. I have been there a handful of times a year since it opened and it is a destination for Christmas presents or care packages for friends who need a little love. I've been to some of the classes they now offer and it was behind-the-scenes fun to be in the store after hours (they also let us make some purchases after the class was over, which was fun!). Erica and her team have a way of making their products feel very special and the store is a breath of fresh air among the other older Salem witch shops. I'm a big fan of small and women owned businesses. Just a note though for those who follow HausWitch on IG and enjoy their social media: the HausWitch brand online is very inclusive and community focused and, if you follow them, you get the idea that you will be welcome there. However, this is not always the case in person, unfortunately, particularly if you are in the store with a male partner or friend--you may feel unwelcome or uncomfortable (see one hidden review that also mentions this). You might also be made to feel uncomfortable if you're not dressed a certain way. The mean-girl vibe can be a definite let down if you've been looking forward to soaking up the ambiance of the store while you decide on your purchases. If you're sensitive to this sort of thing, you might want to order online. As a feminist, I really do get it about men. My suggestion is to drop off any boyfriend or male friend you might have at the Irish pub on the same street before stopping into HausWitch! Other than that, adjust your expectations if you are looking for friendliness, particularly around Halloween.

I love love love coming here! The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. They will help guide you towards products if you have a question as well as join in conversation about anything! I recently booked a reiki healing session with Jessica and was truly blown away. It was my first time getting reiki done, and I wasn't nervous, just excited! She walked me through the process and we felt extremely connected. By the end, I felt healed, relaxed and like I had a purpose on what I needed to do next. Definitely something you should do if you're thinking about it. Go check out the store and smell all the candles, marvel at the crystals and ask questions. You just might walk out feeling enlightened.

This store is unique and inviting. The owner Erica is so knowledgeable and such an amazing woman! She remembered us from the year before! They are connected with Now Age Travel. Melissa helped design our " witchy weekend ". It was perfect! She hand tailored it perfectly for us! We had a Tarot tour around the town. We had readings and she even booked our reservations for the best restaurants!! We also had Reiki and it was unbelievable!! I would recommend this destination over and over again!

Love this place- came all the way from Colorado to see them!! Such friendly owners and workers they make you feel so comfortable and even help you find items curated to your needs! Would absolutely go again and spend all my money! We need more shops like this- I reccomend any of their booklets, especially "emotional alchemy" and all their candles!!!

Obsessed. Waited almost an hour to get into the store, shopped for 15 minutes, and it was shockingly worth it. They have really cute good quality stuff. An eclectic mix. Plus their salespeople are putting out such good vibes- very sweet and inclusive. It's not a store that just sells "hex the patriarchy" stuff- they might really be hexing the patriarchy. That kind of vibe.

This place has some cool offerings such as hand poured candles, essential oils, witchy books, pronoun buttons, and incense. It is pretty claustrophobic in there though. Most of the walking area is a very tight squeeze for 2 people crossing paths. I didn't buy anything for this reason. I visited the store because I read about it in an LGBTQ+ publication, Boston Spirit magazine.

What a glorious little shop. I fell in love with HausWitch online, then realized they were just an hour drive from Boston! Now I make a point to pop in each time I'm in Salem. First off, this store has something for everyone. If you're intimidated by Salem's witchy scene, this might be a great place to start. Many of its products are spiritual, but accessible -- the staff have always been so helpful and not at all judgemental. If that's still not your thing, they have holistic bath/beauty products and fun artsy items that will interest any kind of shopper. If you're semi-local like me, they also have a whole events program (more info on their website). Stuff like this makes it clear to me that the store and its owner are really striving to be part of the community, not just a scene. It makes me happy to spend my money here (and boy, do I!)

No trip to Salem is complete without a trip to HausWitch! I LOVE it here! Whenever I am on the east coast and able to make it to Salem! I try to see if I can make it to their monthly Tarot Salon event! So fun and great to meet other people who are into tarot and tarot card readers themselves! They always have great events going on! I love the aesthetic of the store and the items they offer here! Always a great selection of stuff and wonderful, very helpful staff! Highly recommend going when in Salem!

This was my 2nd time visiting HausWitch, but I'm also an online client! My experiences with HausWitch are always positive. My online orders always ship out and arrive quickly and in perfect condition. I'm always happy with my products. In my first store experience (September 2017) I had the BEST customer service from Cheryl. She provided wonderful insight, suggestions and conversation during our visit. During our 2nd visit this past weekend, we met Erica who provided my friend with suggestions on stones for protection and patiently showed her all available options in the store. Each visit was warm and welcoming and simply magical. This visit to Salem, I decided to enjoy a mini tarot + mini reiki session with Madeline at the HausWitch healing space. She was sweet and patient with the most calming presence. She made me feel incredibly comfortable and relaxed and I would love to visit again for a longer session! 10 out of 10 would recommend for all your magical shopping, healing session, event-going, social justice warrior-ing needs!
