Haute Cabrière - the home of Pierre Jourdan

Stunning views of the valley below and the mountains behind the winery. The cheese and charcuterie platters in the tasting area are absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend the Haute Collection to taste delicious wine from old vines. I especially enjoyed the Amphora Semillon. The staff were all very knowledgeable and friendly. Haute Cabrière is definitely worth a visit and just a few minutes drive from the centre of Franschhoek.

Warm welcome, friendly service, and food so delicious and well presented. The place is neat, tastefully decorated, with stunning mountain views and a great wine selection. A real Franschhoek highlight. Thank you for making our birthday celebration feel so special.

​During our visit to Haute Cabrière, we experienced exceptional service and outstanding cuisine. The dining area boasts a modern design; however, it felt overly warm and lacked a welcoming ambiance. While the food was delightful, the wines did not meet our expectations. Overall, a commendable dining experience.

One of my favourite fine dining restaurants in Franschoek. We had 3 courses during the summer edition of restaurant week and I must say that I was very impressed. The restaurant has amazing views of the Franschoek Wine Valley. We received a welcome glass of the sparkling rosé which was so good that we ordered another one. Each of the dishes from the starters to the desert was delicious. I'm coming back for their winter menu.

Absolutely incredible experience, top to bottom ♥️ Every member of staff really turned out and gave us an exceptional experience. It was clear every guest was receiving the highest level of service. The kitchen staff were doing great things too and we had one of the best meals we've had in or out of SA. We then moved to the Cellar and enjoyed a wine tasting (Cap Classique) with yet more lovely staff. We may have even been treated to a quick tour of the cellar proper (but don't tell anyone). Truly unforgettable. Recommend going for dinner on a Friday/Saturday night as its truly devastating that they close before sunset yet they have the best sunset view in the valley! 😭 We kkow for next time...

This winery is an absolute find! We did the wine tour and tasting, ordered some food and had a lovely experience. The staff are amazing and very friendly. If you want to do a wine tour then this is a good one to do! They also have a restaurant which takes bookings, they do get booked up quite quickly, so worth booking in advance if you want to dine in here.

You know you are in luck when the bread course is delicious. Our family (2 kids, aged 14 and 9) had a great lunch - the adults had 2 courses and kids had pasta (which they loved). The dining room is being renovated so we ate in the barrel room which we enjoyed. Great time. Expense matched the quality. One of our best food experiences.

Haute Cabriere has to be a me of my new favourite spots for a special place to eat. They have a choice of two or three courses with a great selection of starters, mains and dessert. The view over the Franschhoek valley is absolutely beautiful and you have panoramic views from anywhere you are seated in the restaurant.
