Haven Marina

We love this location. It’s very convenient to jetty road and beach, close to the airport and harbour town shopping center. The view in the room was nice. The staff were lovely and helpful with the late check in procedure in which we greatly appreciate from our late flight. Great value of money, slightly outdated room but clean and tidy. Everything worked well and we were comfortable.

I recently stayed at Haven Marina and had a great experience. The hotel itself is a bit old, but everything was kept spotlessly clean. The housekeeping team does an excellent job and are very friendly and approachable. The manager was also really nice and down to earth, which made the stay feel welcoming. On top of that, the location is just perfect – right by the marina and close to Glenelg. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I’d happily come back.

There are only 2 good things about this place. 1) The location is good. 2) There is onsite parking available. Other than that, the property has t seen any significant maintenance in what feels like decades. Our room had some suspect looking water damage in the ceiling, the desk/cupboard had some serious water damage that hadn't seen any attention, and the bathroom was borderline falling apart. There were "No Smoking" signs posted around the property, with piles of cigarette butts covering the floor, indicating that no one has put any effort into the grounds of the property either. The pool didn't seem to be in a serviceable condition either, with missing tiles etc clearly visible from the carpark. Considering all these points, I couldn't recommend anyone actually stays here, instead invest an extra $20 to stay in a more modern and well kept facility elsewhere.

It’s a 3 star digs FFS people. Yes it’s tired and could do with some TLC but you not living there, it’s a place to rest for the night. Both myself and my partner we were satisfied with it for these reasons. Sharon at the front desk was a pleasure to deal with as well 👍🏼

Don’t believe the pictures. Our room was nothing like them. No sleep. Door rattling all night, car noise, dirty remote. Don’t think room has changed since 1970s. Room run down. Don’t stay!

Rooms have older furnishings. Carpets definitely need replacing and cleaning service need some attention. Having said that, front desk was very helpful and even changed an uncomfortable mattress for us. Service was over and above expectations.

Yeah ...nah! Never again. The facility lacks... well everything. Our room was half painted, not overly tidy and extremely dated. I should have spent extra and stayed around the corner Totally disappointed with what we experienced

Look it's not the Taj Mahal. However our experience was positive. It's dated yes and carpet isn't the best but our bed, toilet and bathroom were spotless. Parking on site and a great location. Not that bad.
