"The first thing that will catch your eye when you cross the bridge from the city, is Havnebadet (The harbour bath) This was the first one of its kind in CPH and it is very popular.
In the summertime you will see tons of people hanging out at the lawn right next to the bath barbecuing and sunbathing. The harbour is a bit magical during the summertime - you are in the city, but you get a beach vibe.
In the winter time there are 2 saunas right next to the harbour bath and you can get a membership at Vinterbadet Bryggen (The winter bathing club)" - Birds Flying High
"A popular, free harbor-side bathing spot that exemplifies the city's accessible waterfront culture and provides a quintessential, no-cost local experience." - Lauren Dana Ellman

Danish Harbor Baths: How and Where to Take the Plunge | Vogue
"On a cloudy Saturday morning, the Islands Brygge Harbor Bath is brisk with swimmers peeling off layers of clothing, before soaring off a wooden pier and landing with a splash into the icy river. It’s January in Denmark, and temperatures are hovering around the mid-30s. The water isn’t much warmer, but no one is batting a (semi-frozen) eyelash—it’s all part of the fun." - Regan Stephens

Amazing pool platform, fun to watch the joy this pool brings to all ages. Jumping off the platform was a thrill and swimming in the cool water. So cool it is open to the public with no wait even on busy days!

Great idea to build such place. And offered for free !
Altghough it was only 17 degrees today and small shower, looks like kids still had a lot of fun !
Update: it was 23 and water 20 so we gave it a try 😀 - chilly but fun !!

Great swimming spot in the summer. Completely free and open to any one, there are different areas to lay/relax and swim. There is also a big diving platform to jump off of. The water is from the river (so it’s a little salty), but there is a net to keep fish and wild life out.

Top spot for youngsters to cool off in the heat. Nice diving stairs to improve your confidence jumping into the water.
Plenty of fun to be had for all ages, even if you just want to swim lengths.
Nice and ckean and safe.

This was a highlight of my trip to Copenhagen. A great place for a calm swim and you can do the high jump. I just laid on my towel with a book after, but it was such a nice social spot people laying out. A great place to spend your afternoon in Copenhagen. Can’t miss this spot!! No tickets needed

Free outdoor pools created by fencing in an area of the harbour. There is a similar, single pool on the north side which is less popular if you hit it on a busy day. Even when I took a bracing dip mod-September there was a steady trickle of swimmers. Lifeguards on duty; they are friendly and helpful - useful if you’re a visitor.
There are large grass areas just outside the swimming area for picnicking or just people watching.
The pool area itself has no facilities but that doesn’t seem to bother anyone! Smaller, shallow pools provide safe space for little ones and there’s a stepped tower for diving or jumping off.
Don’t be alarmed by the fish and jelly fish - both harmless!

Yelp
This public swimming pool saved me from melting on my recent trio to CPH. I got off the plane to immense heat and the first thing I did was buying a bikini and heading out to Havnebadet for the afternoon.
Although there are no facilities right there, the nearby shopping centre has plenty clean bathrooms and you can quickly get changed there also. If you can no longer stand the city heat, stroll or bike out here for a few hours instead.

Yelp
This is a great facility and it's FREE!
I'd read about this before visiting Copenhagen, so had packed my swimsuit. There are no changing rooms, so make sure you take a big towel to get changed behind. The water is icy, but that is refreshing on a hot day!
Really enjoyed this for a quick dip to cool off whilst sight seeing!

Yelp
Our kids love jumping from the huge ship like platform at Islands Brygge harbor bath. The gated and life guarded pools are an excellent way to cool off in true Copenhagen fashion. My only con would be that Islands Brygge itself is quite a scene - to see and be seen by young locals out having a good time. The area can be popular with boisterous partying groups and packed on a hot day. Many options for snacks, drinks and ice cream nearby.

Yelp
We're here every day possible. It's an oasis in the middle of Copenhagen on a hot day! There are pools for little ones, older kids, a swimming area and tower to jump off of. No place to change, but there is a public toilet nearby (which is yucky). Plenty of places to buy food and drinks nearby, too.
