John was a great guide. Gave us history than gave us a taste of history. Learned a lot about the harvesting and distilling process. I’ll come back. The views were awesome too

Had an amazing time here visiting!! I went here on a whim (with a some research) and wanted to try out this distillery. Did the tasting prior to ordering drinks and food. Shoutout to Jada our guide explained everything fantastically well!! You are able to grab something to eat hear and have a few drinks!! Highly recommend coming here for great food, drinks, and some amazing views!!

A fantastic stop for any Maui vacation. They easily have one of the best views in the Up-Country, the spirits are delicious, and the tour is not only affordable but comes with a souvenir shot glass. Our tour guide Joe was phenomenal and extremely knowledgeable. We also stopped in the Cafe and the fresh made juices and Banana bread was great. It's free to come in and enjoy the area and visit the shop, Cafe, and grounds. The tour is an optional addition.

Love doing distillery tours where ever we go. This place is a must stop. Do the tour/tasting. Patty was our guide, she was funny and sincerely engaging. Stay for the food. The view is fabulous. Picnic tables over look the west coast. The staff was all over the top about customer engagement. (10 stars out of 5) We shared the poke, and had the mushroom pizza on cauliflower crust. Music was live and very good. Kids running around having a good time, but not loud. We love to hear kids having a good time. We will come back here the next time we are on Maui. Everyone, come to Maui, Maui is ready for you to visit.

Wonderful tour and tasting with Patty. She was very entertaining, tour and comedy all in one. The Cafe had amazing cocktails and we shared a pizza, delicious. The views are 360degrees beautiful can see shore to shore on Maui!

When I was looking for places to visit in Maui, this was not a place that showed up on any travel blog or website I searched. Which is a HUGE mistake. This distillery is truly remarkable. It sits perched on the side of a mountain near Haleakala and you get a great view of the sunset. We did the spirits tasting and tour. The tour was brief but informative and fun. Followed by the tasting, which was both really fun and engaging! We definitely have a new favorite rum :). In fact, after the tour we ended up coming back again the following day for sunset with food and drinks. They have an excellent menu and even better drink menu (of course!). The place was filled with locals and all of their family and friends for sunset. Truly an enjoyable experience! 10/10 would recommend anyone looking to experience something off the beaten path and especially away from the beach!

Stunning environment with a beautiful views over Kihei. Live music was amazing. Food was great, their pizzas are really good. Cocktails are OK only, expensive for what you get, basic mixed cocktails in a plastic cup - some decorations and a proper cup/glass would improve the cocktail experience.

We had a fabulous tour and tasting at Ocean Distillery this past Sunday. After the Chef described the Fresh Catch of the day we all ordered it.

We had a great time at the distillery! Patty did a great job explaining everything to us and had an awesome sense of humor to boot! The tastings were great and we ate afterwards and the food and cocktails were amazing! So fresh and flavorful! We'll definitely be back again! Mahalo!

What an incredible venue. About an hour drive from Napili Bay/ Lahaina area, and worth the trip! Book a tour of the distillery or come for an incredible meal and cocktails. Nightly live music and themed nights (Sushi Night on Wednesdays). Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. Cocktails are flavorful and well crafted. Food was amazing!!! Poke Nachos and Fried Poke were my favorites!! Special shout out to Jada and Joe for our tours of the distillery and tastings!!

The tour was a lot more interesting than I thought it would be! Our guide, Joe, was awesome! The vodka and other drinks were delicious. Highly recommend it, especially from someone who lives here and didn't know some of the historical background on the making of it and the info on the stills!

Super fun place to visit! Grab some of the Fy Gin the shop because it's hard to find in mainland stores. Food and cocktails in the restaurant are delicious. Beautiful grounds with both indoor and outdoor seating with spectacular views. The tasting guide is absolutely lovely and charming.

Tour was interesting. Very laid back. Delicious vodka and rum from a local, organic, sustainable business. The view was amazing. You can see both sides of the island at the same time. Food and music were good too. Everyone was very nice too. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Get me back to Maui and get me back to Ocean Vodka. The drinks here are delicious and the food is awesome! The flatbread pizza was some of the best I had on the island. It is a bit of a drive from Lahaina, but worth it. We had a great time taking the tour and then having lunch. When we go back next time, we'll probably skip the tour and just go to the cafe for lunch. Beautiful grounds, good food and good drinks. What else could you ask for? Well, service..... Service was very slow, unresponsive and kind of lacking. It's fine, but just don't expect a 20% tip. No plates were brought after asking. No water was brought. All they did was take your order and the drop off your food. If you want anything else, probably easier to just go inside to the cafe and get it yourself.

Highly recommend this wonderful experience! The staff, delicious pairings and tastings were excellent. Everything is locally sourced. The views are amazing as well. We'll be back!

A beautiful place overlooking the island with views of the water on the Maalaea and Kahului sides. It's a perfect setting to enjoy cocktails and food in a relaxed environment. The distilling tour is informative yet concise and then it's on to the tasting. You will sample their coconut rum, dark rum, organic rum, gin and vodka. Of course, they were all delicious and smooth. The coconut rum is perfectly flavored so it's not too sweet. Reagan was a great guide. After the tasting, we relaxed at a picnic table enjoying the view and a cocktail. We lucked into being there on a Wednesday with a sushi happy hour. The sushi rolls were flavorful and plentiful. The wait staff were attentive and efficient. They cover each other versus only focused on a specific section. Good touch. A definite must visit while in Maui.

We are so very fortunate to have jobs that take us all over the world and we are able to eat at some of the finest restaurants anywhere and this place literally blows them all away. Do yourself a favor and take the distillery tour with Joe. He's so passionate about the facility and speaks so highly of Shay, the founder, that we felt like I knew the guy personally by the time the tour ended. Being greeted by Tiana was the most welcoming experience. She was so sweet and greeted us with the warmest smile! Then Raul came to greet us once we sat down. He remembered us from the prior evening (we've gone three nights in a row) and was so genuinely happy to see us, and even offered to buy us an appetizer! We had the Ahi tartar nachos and they were spectacular! The last two nights my husband had the Cubano calzone and had to fight with not to get it again, so he ordered the Tree Pua'a, and as expected, it was unreal. I had the same mushroom truffle pizza I enjoyed the last two nights. I can say with 100% certainty that we will be back again multiple times next year and we are thrilled that we found this place and feel like we just met a whole new set of great friends.

Better known to locals and tourists as Ocean Vodka, Hawaii Sea Spirits is the parent company name. Long story short, I did not enjoy my winery tour 2 years ago so I did NOT want to visit this place last year, but my daughter insisted and I am SO thankful!! Now, we come annually and bring all our friends. Quality/Quantity - GREAT vodka, so smooth. We buy their spirits often, especially when we host a "Hawaiian" themed party at our place. Ordered your tasting tour online from 11am to 5pm (almost no one goes to the 3:30pm tour), for $14.40 you get a tour and sample all their spirits, for $9.60 more you can taste their Brum. For the tasting, they offer 3 types of rum, a gin and of course Ocean Vodka. Again, for $9.60 more you can taste their Brum, 24 month bourbon aged rum. Oh, the food and mixed drinks are good also!! See my pictures. Wow as I am writing this, I just noticed I have very few pictures, THAT is a sign that I had too good of a time!!! Sorry. This happens every now and then especially when there is a lot of alcohol involved... Atmosphere - This place reminds me of Rock Wall Winery in Alameda (now closed), PM me if you agree. Open 7 days a week. Tours from 11am to 5pm. Farm store 10:30am to 6:30 pm. Cafe hours are from 11:30am to 7pm; 6:45pm last call. They added cabanas this year and we were lucky enough to use one. Then for the sunset, we grabbed lounge chairs to the "cliff" and enjoyed our cocktails and view!! Service - Excellent. Price - $14.40 + tipped our tour guide. 10% discount for the following: Locals (Kama'aina, Military, senior 62+). We actually bought all their spirits from Costco. :) Owner Comment - Congrats to Shay and his family for their success since 2005.

Ocean Farms was recommended by a friend. We took the distillery tour and we were pleasantly surprised . Our tour guide, Patty, made the experience top notch. Patty was extremely funny and entertaining. She was knowledgeable and informative. If you go, try and get on Patty's tour! You will love her! After the tour, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and had dinner at one of the picnic tables. The food and drinks were great. I would definitely recommend a trip Ocean Farms Distillery! It won't disappoint!

Great views. Friendly service. Strong booze. Vodka tonic was smooth. Tiramisu is moist and intense coffee and rum flavors. Pizza is delicious and cheesy. Great experience. Day we came, had live local entertainment. Local kids taiko (Japanese drumming) group. So much fun.

We so enjoyed our couple hours with Ocean vodka distillery. Our tour guide was excellent she gave us so much knowledge about this vodka gin and rum that they make there. The grounds are beautiful also lush green and very spacious. We hope to go back someday and visit again. Also had lunch at the café next-door and it was outstanding. I do enjoy the ocean vodka very much and it's easy to get where I live. You made us all very welcome there and you certainly deserve this five star review.

Joe was an amazing tour guide! He was funny and informative. I enjoyed the vodka tasting as well. We ate and got more drinks afterwards. What a pretty view. We are visiting from Chicago and we were pleasantly surprised here. Thank you so much!

Really hope our tour guides name was Brittney and it it wasn't I apologize! Brittney was absolutely amazing and with a personality that was fun and enjoyable. Made up for the rough start as we waited in the area for our tour which was miscommunicated to where we should've been waiting and had to wait another half an hour for the next guide. The spirits offered are not on my top tier of spirits as I'm predominately a dark spirit drinker. However everything was super good and communicated it's background and history very nicely. How good was everything? I don't even drink gin, don't touch it, afraid of it...came back home from vacation raving and rolling about the Fy Gin offered from this distillery. Absolutely flavorful, amazing, and delicious. A must! Their rums were delicious, the vodka which you might've seen at your local grocery store, and a secret Brum which was a nice hitter. Their cafe also had a nice selection of food and drinks, you must try the Green Harvest drink! A nice kick with cilantro, pineapple, jalapeño which a lot if not all of their produce is grown on their farm itself. My wife doesn't drink and the bartender mentioned that all drinks can be made as mocktails and she had ordered a lychee cocktail which she couldn't stop raving about. Nice vibe, nice scenery, affordable pricing. A nice stop in Maui.

Everything about ocean distillery was fantastic! Food, ascetics, and customer service.

Amaxing way to spend a few hours. The grounds are gorgeous and view even more so. The thought that goes into making the spirits is so interesting. Lunch was amazing! Perfect stop after sunrise at Haleakala or to kill time before the airport.

We just had a fantastic tour of this distillery. Our guide Patty was informative, funny and very nice. After tasting their spirits, we finished off the evening with dinner and music at the cafe while watching the sunset. Definitely worth a visit.

Sara Our tour guide was very informative and educated. We learned some very detailed things with this tour. The spirit tasting at the end was also informative and tasty. We went to their cute gift shop and bought some gifts, then finished the day there by sitting on the picnic benches with a couple of their yummy, very fresh cocktails. The view was breathtaking overlooking the valley and ocean. What a stunning relaxing afternoon. Would definitely recommend it.

We had the best time at the distillery! We did a tasting with Patty, and she was hilarious, kind, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the products, the land, and the production process (which was surprisingly interesting to learn!). We aren't typically fans of rum, but these were hands down the best we have ever had! The vodka was amazing, and I can't wait to have some of their gin shipped to me! The food was also excellent (amazing vegan options, which was SO appreciated), and the views could not be beat! We would absolutely recommend visiting the distillery (and request Patty if you can!).

Aside from the fact that the vodka is clean and delicious......not to mention a family run business......one of the truly amazing features of this facility? The fact that the 80 acres is 95% self sufficient. That the owners pride themselves on leaving even the smallest environmental foot print. Mostly, that they have truly embraced the Hawaiian Ohana spirit with the people, but most importantly......the land. Oh! And Gina was such an amazing tour guide. She provided the rich history of how one family took their impact on the environment seriously. It makes me want to go out an but Ocean vodka.

This place was an exceptional surprise with wonderful people providing fun and learning of the distilling process. Patty, our tour guide, was especially fun and insightful while providing some great zingers along the way. Five Stars ! The rum, vodka and gin products are delightful and the cocktail concoctions available at the onside cafe were fantastic as was the service. Great views combine to make this a place worth visiting on any trip to Maui!

We love their merchandise!!! This is also for the ocean organic vodka, the Brum was so smooth n delicious. Really wish I had room in my luggage to bring a bottle or 2 home with me......

My husband and I did a tasting here and ate at the restaurant. The service was fantastic. Patty gave us an amazing tasting. The views are incredible. Food is 10/10. Come here for sure!

Very impressive place for nature lovers and drinkers alike. Caroline was a perfect Oceanic host. Drinks were excellent and the flatbread was one of the best pizzas on the island. A must go

Loved the Fy gin and the BRUM but was not a huge fan of the rest. The Fy gin was esp unique bc it had a strong lavender taste. The BRUM is $150 and only sold on the property. I was told the Fy gin is also hard to get in the continental US. The remaining rums and ocean vodka are more readily accessible elsewhere, so I recommend taking home the BRUM and gin if you had to pick. I would have taken home both if we had more luggage space! Sadly they do not ship. The property is gorgeous and you can sit in the lawn and enjoy the views while you wait for your tasting. $10 extra to try the BRUM, which we opted to do. They don't allow people to share tastings, which was sad, because I usually always share with my husband. There is also a cafe if you want to grab a cocktail or bite to eat.

We enjoyed this vodka tasting experience very much and their gorgeous setting was a real highlight as sunset neared. We would have enjoyed having more time to taste each pour... that stuff is strong and is best sipped slowly. Seems we got a pour and the next one was on top of me before I'd finished the previous one. But, all the spirits were delicious. Owners/Servers: Please slow down so your visitors can savor the experience:). Maybe offer a bit of plain cracker or something in between pours? Be sure to go to the restaurant and try the chocolate dipped frozen banana then find an Adirondack chair on the lawn to enjoy the amazing view.

The tour was phenomenal I recommend Pat. That you for the wonderful humor! The food was phenomenal and the ambiance was perfect setting gorgeous sunset and perfect evening event I would do it again!!!

This place is such a hidden gem. Not only was the tour/tasting yummy, but it was super interesting. Sarah was so fun! And when you go, you need to stay for dinner. The food and drinks are delicious, and it's such a nice, relaxing atmosphere- especially with the live music!

This was an unplanned stop but a surprisingly great one. While they have a tour you had to book it in advance we had another tour to do down the road. Fortunately, the cafe/bar was open and since it was before lunch, daydrinking it was. They make vodka, gin and rum, two spirits I'm not a fan of. However, everyone was so friendly and welcoming that it overcame my natural aversion to clear spirits, that and their cocktails were ridiculously cheap. I do enjoy a Bee's Knees, a gin-based cocktail so I got that first. COVID meant all the drinks were served in plastic cups, but it was well made with the right amount of balance of citrus, sweet and spirits and it made it easier to enjoy while staring out at the great view the farm had. I enjoyed it enough that I tried Hi-Fy which had ginger beer and pineapple juice with gin. Tasty! It made me rethink my opinion on clear liquors which is pretty significant.

We did the tasting on a Saturday and the place was not pack at all. The location is huge with lots of sitting spaces. It's breathtakingly beautiful! It felt like we were floating with the clouds. You get the view of the ocean and the mountain. We stayed to catch the sunset and it was spectacular! The place is kid friendly which is awesome and buzzkill! Lol We did the spirit tasting and a quick tour of the plantation. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. There's a cafe/bar where you can order their specialty mix drinks and food. We had a few of their drinks and also ordered their Cuban sandwich. Food was excellent and drinks were yummy! I'll definitely be back!

Would love to give more than 5 stars. Phenomenal tour and tasting with Joe. My husband and I went for a tour after tasting the ocean vodka in a cocktail and reading about it on the website. Joe was informative about the sugar cane, distilling process and when it came to the tasting, how to use these spirits in cocktails! We would have bought a case if we could have shipped it home but instead will be looking to buy when we get back to our state, as they let us know what retailers we could find the products at! The land itself was stunning and food/cocktails available for purchase after-which we enjoyed! We are going to try to go back while we are here!

We love this amazing distillery. The great Ocean Vodka and Kula Rum are literally from here! We have Kula Rum in San Diego and we had several times at local liquor store. I absolutely love this brand. Glad we did the tour and tried every liquor they make from this distillery. Their gin is delicious. Surprisedly I love it as a no-gin drinker. I recommend you come to have a tasting tour if you enjoy drinks!

We had another fantastic tour and meal at Hawaiian Sea Spirits (Ocean Vodka). Sarah gave us a fun and informative tour of the distillery and bottling area and then lead us through a lively tasting of the wonderful vodka, gin & rums. This was our fourth tour, we love taking our guests and it is always fun. Pro tip: book the last tasting of the day and then stay and watch the sunset on the lawn while enjoying the farm fresh food and artisanal cocktails made with Hawaiian spirits. You'll have a great time!

We were planning things to do while in Maui and were very glad we came across this gem of a place in our search. It may also have helped that we picked up a bottle of their Dark rum the first day here and had to go shopping again the next day for more. So good. This lead to the inevitable question of where the heck is that made ... which brought us up for a tasting. The place is worth the trip .. so beautiful on the grounds. We did the tour and tasting with Patti as our guide. She was an absolute blast and an encyclopedia of knowledge. Years of day drinking I think but nevertheless she was amazing. Ask for her. We saw the owner and he was a bit crusty. Patti slipped me a 10 to say that. To see the staff so engaged and proud of what they do and accomplish was so refreshing. The spirits they produce are simply top shelf. The Dark and Toasted Coconut being our groups favourite.. Take a few hours go up there ... do a tasting, have a cocktail and lunch ... you will enjoy it as much as we did.

I should probably start with a review of their booze, but I can't because their pizza is just too good. The tree pua'a is bacon pizza heaven. We got the pesto too, which was good, but good not stand up beside bacon jam deglazed in dark rum and then slathered with pulled pork. Once you've ordered one of these, the tour was also lovely, informative, about an hour, and had samples of 3 rums, the ocean vodka that made them famous, and their fy gin (my fave), plus the brum (bourbon aged rum) if you add it. The view is also fabulous. Note that Ocean Vodka is the same establishment (which is a bit confusing since there's two Yelp listings).

Beautiful place. I was the designated driver and still enjoyed it. The restaurant is very casual but delicious food. Would go for a meal anytime. All employees provide wonderful service.

This place was awesome it's a must try. The tasting was cool we tried rum. The coconut rum was the best and we also liked the Fi gin. The Tour guide was very informative and made our tasting fun. Next time we will have to try the food.

Great place to grab a snack and watch the sunset. I would reccomend bringing a blanket because it does get cold on the mountain.

This was our first time visiting Ocean Farms and we are so happy we did. Our tour guide Sara was Awesome. She was so knowledgable and really funny. You could tell how much she absolutely loved her job and the story behind Ocean. The spirits where tasty. I was very surprised how much I liked the Gin (I am not a gin girl at all) The cocktails and food we had after was also very tasty. This is a MUST DO when in Maui !!!

Such a great and relaxing place to hang out with loved ones and enjoy amazing food; cocktails, and million dollars views of God's Country - Maui! Get there early to grab your plastic Adirondack Chairs and find a sweet spot to get your drinks as you wait for the sun to set. The pizza is amazing and the salad is fantastic and fresh! I love the Lilikoi Crush cocktail and the Mai tai is delish! They don't pack a punch alcohol wise but they are tasty. They are a bit pricey if you ask me but often those high prices are to take advantage of the tourists. Unfortunately the locals have to also pay the high prices. All in all - I recommend this place, it's a great venue and food food and drinks! It's worth it!

Our guide, Patti, was fantastic! She was informative, quick witted and most of all really knew how to read and connect with the visitors. We were also super impressed by their operation. Watch out, however, as Patti's ability to explain and promote their products may have you taking more home than you planned!
