Located just past Starbucks in the A gates. There are better food and beverage options in an economy seat that what is offered in this lounge. Choose the regular lounge for a better atmosphere. There is nothing first class about the space. Good areas to work with a laptop for a quick stop.

Google
This place used to be really great. Now it is SO crowded (since they let all the Alaska premiere members use it) that it is hard to find a seat and the bandwidth is junk, plus the space has a much more mainstream American (as opposed to local Hawai’i) feel. And the amenities went way downhill. They used to have orange juice, apple juice, and good snacks like taro chips. All gone now, so they can sell more Hawai’i to more people from outside. Bummahs!

Google
I must agree with other reviewers that Hawaiian Airlines Premier Club is NOT the greatest of Business Class or First Class Lounges. When we visited, it was quite crowded, The only food available was “Snackmix”! There was coffee, sodas and water were available. We checked out the Plumeria Lounge with our Priority Pass access. While not so great, it was still a little better than Hawaiian Premier Club.

This lounge, in Haneda airport, really belongs to JAL. It is not as impressive as the airport lounges in the world, but it is decent. Enough food and drink selection. Clean and quiet. Service is efficient, friendly, and yet discreet.

Linda Clark

Google
Great place to get a cup of coffee and a pack of pretzels (that's all they offered). Also, convenient for charging your devices. Need to show a boarding pass.

Tor Norbye

Google
Pretty small and crowded; not many amenities (they had pretzels, coffee, tea and soda.). But the chairs were pretty comfortable (though most without power.) It got pretty empty in the evening (we spent a long time here since our original flight was cancelled....)

Google
Probably the worst airline lounge there is. HA should feel shamed. The waiting areas at gate at some good airports are more comfortable than this. It’s a crowded, outdated facility. No food except some little pretzel packs. Drinks are very limited. Ice machine never produced ice for the 3 hours we were here. And no one was cleaning the facility. We understand that the Hawaiians have a relaxed spirit. However, where’s the Hawaiian hospitality spirit??

Goldy Wong

Google
Very crowded with basic drinks and snacks and only.

Jamal C.

Yelp
I'm making use of the Hawaiian Premier Lounge during my flights. Most airports don't have a place to charge your devices or do work in a peaceful environment. The Honolulu Hawaiian Premier Lounge has it all. A comfortable lounge area to work, or chill while waiting for your flight. They have nicer restrooms. They offer coffee, teas and some fountain drinks. They have snacks and free WiFi. The peaks of being a PUALANI Status Member. The ladies here at the desk are super friendly always. Much Appreciated. Mahalo

Yelp
The Hawaiian Airlines lounge was clean but very basic--definitely better than waiting in the terminal, but not much more than that. You can bring in your own food, but you have to dispose of the containers outside, which is inconvenient. Plenty of reading material, but overall, it lacks amenities. I don't usually fly Hawaiian, but their planes and staff are nice enough. The lounge just doesn't offer much beyond a quieter space to sit. See you on Yelp!

Daniel O.

Yelp
If you're looking to start your travels in comfort, the Hawaiian Airlines Premier Club delivers exactly what it promises. These lounges provide a peaceful sanctuary away from the usual airport hustle and bustle. As Hawaiian Airlines states, the Premier Club is designed for frequent flyers, business travelers, and leisure guests, and it truly fulfills that commitment. The space is clean, quiet, and offers a great spot to relax or catch up on work before your flight. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, light refreshments, and a cozy seating area. It's not a full-service lounge like you might find internationally, but it's perfect for quick escapes from the terminal crowds. Would I recommend paying for it outright? Probably not, as the offerings are relatively simple. However, as an added benefit for Pualani members or those flying in Business/First Class, it's a nice perk that enhances the overall travel experience. If you're eligible to use the Premier Club, it's a worthwhile stop to recharge before your journey. For those frequenting Hawaiian Airlines, this is a thoughtful addition to their service.

Cynthia F.

Yelp
This lounge is really nothing special the one upstairs is a little nicer. I refuse to pay or use miles anymore to join, just not worth it but as a long time Hawaiian air Pualani gold member the rudeness of the staff is appalling. The is no aloha spirit. If the person working the front desk cannot take a moment to answer a simple question. I believe a majority of Hawaiian employees need to be retrained. It's sad really used to be a great airline no longer.

Ray L.

Yelp
Hawaiian is one of the primary carriers for Hawaii residents and does an excellent job with their level of services. Getting to the higher levels of frequent flyer at HA allows you the use of one of two premier club lounges at HNL. The basic lounge really is not much compared to many other similar products at other airports. There are the basic fountain drinks, hot coffee and tea and if you're lucky, some small packages of pretzels. Seating or lack of seating in this lounge is always a challenge. There are so limited seats almost all the time. They do have clean restrooms and free WiFi but this along with the basic beverages doesn't really make it a good perk to being at the higher levels of Hawaiian airline.

Berneta A.

Yelp
Nothing spectacular here, but it definitely beats waiting at the gate! There are plenty of comfy spots to curl up and plug in if you need to connect to WiFi--just don't expect lightning speed, because the WiFi here is more like a leisurely stroll. They offer a variety of soft drinks, coffee, tea, and a limited selection of small snacks to tide you over. Would I pay to get in? Probably not. I only got access because my Delta flight got transferred to a Hawaiian one. On the bright side, it's clean, the staff is super friendly, it's quiet, and a decent spot to relax before your flight. But if you're looking for a better lounge experience, the Plumeria Lounge upstairs is way better.

Eugene C.

Yelp
Pretty weak lounge experience. No food. No alcohol. Just coffee, soda, water basically. No windows or natural light. The non-premier Plumeria lounge might be better.

Ophirgamer ..

Yelp
Do not have expectations for this lounge. It's just a waiting area with free soda and coffee. And airplane snack bags. No alcohol. Just a small variety of chairs and paintings on the wall. It's a room of sadness.

Jackie K.

Yelp
Nice place to relax when your waiting for your flight. Just the basics here, bathrooms, coffee, tea, soft drinks and pretzels or Biscoff cookies. You are greeted upon entry and staff will check your status to enter. Free wifi and televisions. Lots of tables and chairs to set up your iPad or computer. It can get noisy if it's full like today.

Jeff S.

Yelp
This location is bare bones. and long waits. Came here today to grab a drink (canned or soft drink ) and a cookie, but the wait was insane. After waiting for 75 minutes and some people were over 2 hours, I gave up and went to my gate. There are some open seats but they won't let people in. On a plus, its clean If you are going to want to go here, check the waitlist prior online, or if you have the link, check in (pro tip), otherwise, dont plan on waiting in the lounge as there is a good chance this little place will be full

Courtney O.

Yelp
Love Hawaiian Airlines, but was really surprised by this "premier" club. I was flying First Class to the mainland and even though my gate was far from the club, I gave myself some extra time to walk over and enjoy it. However, I was incredibly disappointed upon arrival. This lounge has little to offer. No food or snacks. Just a glorified waiting room. It was great that there are private bathrooms and a place to sit, but there were really little features to offer, so I ended up just heading to my gate instead.

Heather C.

Yelp
As a longtime member of the Hawaiian Airlines Premier Club, I've taken advantage of the amenities countless times while traveling for work and with family. While the club offers some nice perks, I feel Hawaiian Airlines could step up their daily offerings in the Premier Club compared to the offerings in the Pikake Lounge. It will be interesting to see how the merger with Alaska Airlines impacts the experience moving forward. Overall, it's a solid spot, but there's definitely room for improvement!

Mary E.

Yelp
My 1st time accessing the lounge with a friend for a red eye flight and I thought it had average amenities. They had beers in the mini fridge and wine available. Also fruits, an espresso machine, some toffee chocolate covered Mac nuts and the hot entree was a Portuguese bean soup I think. I'm not sure if they have more options available during the peak times but considering it was 8pm, I enjoyed the quietness, the clean restrooms, free coffee and outlets. They keep the place pretty clean. There was someone who checked on the food and beverage area and wiped it down. The tables were clean also. The male worker at the check in desk was also fairly friendly. Overall it was a satisfactory experience.

JoAnne V.

Yelp
Not too busy today. They need better snacks! The entire longe needs updating but, it's ok. Variety of juices, sodas, water, teas and coffee available. Too bad Plumeria lounge is far. Ambiance is ok.

Miho W.

Yelp
Before the flight from Honolulu to Phoenix for about 6 hours, I often work here while drinking coffee and write Yelp reviews like this!lol Is it easy to understand if I say "domestic first class lounge" right? The variety of pots of lion coffee lined up on the counter is exactly Hawaii !! lol and I open the lounge glass door I can smell the coffee at moment! I want to sleep on the plane, so I choose decaf exclusively. I'm also happy that there are toilet facilities in the lounge. The location is on the side of Gate A18. The business hours are as follows. Weekday Hours: 5:00am -10:00pm Weekend Hours: 6:00am - 10:00pm

Ben Y.

Yelp
When we entered the lounge, it was so crowded that it was difficult to find seats. The drink station had run out of ice so you could have soda, but there was no ice. The pau Hana snack is similar to the pretzel snack you get on flights. But I have this lounge two stars because it has the best customer service agents.

Cyrus A.

Yelp
This has got to be the most unimpressive airline lounge I've ever been to. It's a glorified waiting room. The only amenity? Free coffee. That's it. Sure, the seating is slightly better than by the gates. And there are some outlets. But it's an entirely closed room, with no windows. It feels more like a mausoleum than an airline lounge. Free coffee can't make up for a really lackluster space and absence of any noteworthy benefits.

Paul H.

Yelp
You have to belong to the club to be able come in and enjoy their offerings. It's self service and a nice place to hangout prior to your HAL flight.

Linda K.

Yelp
Complimentary coffee, tea, soft drinks, water and snacks are provided. Bathroom located in the lounge. Hana Hou magazine and the newspaper are reading materials available. Clean seating area with a lot of charging outlets offers a nice waiting/resting area before heading to your gate.

Jerry E.

Yelp
First visit and was surprised that this place only has coffee, tea, soft drinks, and water. Moreover, it was super crowded on Friday (7/16/23) afternoon! Well, I guess can't whine because it comes with Premier membership :-) Addendum - The darn hot water pot is filled with lukewarm water. Wonderful...

Maui J.

Yelp
Platinum Members for years, had reservations over a year, cast aside because some entitled Board Member decided they wanted to use the lounge today! We are currently sat outside in the regular area. The young lady who is helping us, is THE ONLY REDEEMABLE PART ABOUT THIS ORDEAL. She set aside an area away from the rest of the cafeteria-esque "lounge" and is serving us the best she can, now that we are out here. Now for a detailed review... This "lounge" is slightly better than the terminal. It has wifi, fountain drinks, snacks, and a little isolation from the noise and madness. HOWEVER it is still full of kids, coughing people, phone calls, and so on. If you pay extra, you are offered a small corner area with a curtain and walls, a couch and seats, where you're served a planned menu and offered drinks. WHICH IS WHAT WE PAID FOR! BECAUSE IT IS THE ONLY REPRIEVE DURING A LONG LAY OVER BETWEEN FLIGHTS IN HEAT AND HUMIDITY WE GET DURING THE DAY, TODAY THOUGH, SOME IGNORANT, RUDE, SELFISH, INCONSIDERATE, ENTITLED MORON decided they would push their weight around and abuse their rights as a "board member". Kicking us to the curb, into the regular lounge, where I am currently listening to 3 children shouting and running around, a bunch of people coughing not one covering their mouth, phone calls, all kinds of bad smells from people travelling all day, ALL THE REASONS I WASTED HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS FOR A FEW HOURS OF REST AND PRIVACY! So... Again... The lounge deserves a 3-4/5 normally. But be warned, it's usually full and you have to wait in line to get in, UNLESS YOU PAY EXTRA, LIKE WE DO. The private lounge a 5 This unbelievable shameful treatment gets a 1 I will be reconsidering all future investments. My company will be divesting from any future arrangements. I don't want any freebies or credits, I don't need it. I WANTED WHAT I PAID FOR. SHAMEFUL!

Vince N.

Yelp
This HA Premier Club lounge is just a smidge better than the miserable one located at OGG on Maui, which is not saying much. ATMOSPHERE: Located on level two of the inter-island terminal near gate A19, it's about twice the size of Maui's, feels newer and renovated, but is also void of any views, let alone a single window. Seating is a mix of lounge chairs and hightop tables with charging ports. Restrooms are available within. Amenities included a dedicated airline agent, free WiFi, sodas, coffees, water and crackers. OVERALL: Far from a fancy mainland/international lounge, but it's better than sitting with the masses.

Scot U.

Yelp
A somewhat quiet place to relax before the flight ... Compared to some other airline clubs, this place is *okay*, slightly below average ...a clean place to sit, recharge your phone, free wifi, non alcoholic drinks (coffee, tea, water, and soft drink fountain), and just pretzel snacks for food. So, for 30 flight segments in a year or 20,000 miles traveled, this is a small perk to earn. Just show your boarding pass with the gold status, and you and up to 2 guests can access this lounge.

Mark Y.

Yelp
Quick end of the year update... It's still a nice little respite before boarding your flight. Refreshments are convenient and I see a lot of loungers filling up their hydroflasks with soda, smart. The seats still pretty comfortable and you can stretch your legs out. One thing that is kind of a bummer is the temperature could be a bit cooler. Stepping in from the terminal you immediately notice it's warmer in the lounge. Boo

Lentina V.

Yelp
Hubs purchased the Premier Club membership during the BOGO promotion last December. We've got to use the HNL lounge twice now-- first time was during Christmas to neighbor island, and today to the mainland. Amenities wise, I was honestly expecting more. More comfort and more food/drinks, to be precise. Everything is self-serve, including soda fountain (Coke products), coffee (I think Lion?), and packaged snacks (pretzels). Members must check in at the front and show their boarding pass. The lounge is furnished with modular seats, with outlets along most walls, from what I can see. There are bathrooms in the lounge so that's a plus. The women's bathroom has two stalls, one of which is wheelchair accessible, and a feminine product dispenser as well! Interestingly tho, the walkway to the bathrooms are so narrow, and there's no ADA button to open the doors for folks who may be wheelchair-bound or on crutches. It's a basic fuss-free type of lounge. Quieter than the general boarding area. It's located by the Starbucks near gate A16.

Craig T.

Yelp
The last time I couldn't experience the Hawaiian Airline Premiere lounge because I was on a Red Eye flight and I believe the lounge closes at 6:30pm. So I guess if your a member and your departure is a evening flight you cannot take advantage of the lounge. Over the weekend my sister and brother-in-law decided to visit our cousin on Hawaii Island . The only good thing about the premium lounge is that they allow 2 guest traveling with the member . So it was perfect my sister and B.I.L The premiere lounge offers complimentary coffee and fountain drinks and a bag of mix pretzels. I remember long time ago they use to provide pastries and fresh fruits and cookies but I guess like anything else things have changed. The lounge was very crowded I'm not sure why because it was a long weekend or because it was about 11:30am prime time . Anyway it's ok I would consider this perk average nothing spectacular compared to other airline v.i.p lounge. Keep safe and support local

Sunil R.

Yelp
As far as airport lounges go, this one is very basic. There are not a lot of great dining options at the airport. It was slim pickings at the lounge as well and did not end up staying here too long.

Cath M.

Yelp
Like some of the other Yelp reviewers - I too have been wanting to try Hawaiian's 1st class and it is going to be my 1st and last. There wasn't any sign regarding where you're supposed to go out of HNL so you have to really look up and look at the signs. For reference, it's towards the TSA Pre check-in line. The man who checked in me was thankfully, friendly and told me where to go since it was getting a little crazy with the lines. After going through TSA - it's a walk to the left and upon entering, it's really nothing. No big "wow" factor. Thankful that I got there early enough before the crowd started happening with the seats and tables. There was a refrigerator filled with POG juice, trail mix, coffee and soda. For the price, you'd expect something more but sadly, that's all you got. I left early to actually search for real food lol. NOT worth it folks! Will also just fly Alaska b/c their lounge is actually worth it.

Mel N.

Yelp
So sad that this "Premier" Club is so dissappointing! Not only are they "messy" and not kept up, there is no food or snacks or anything but pretzels ! The coffee water was out, there was NO water, bottled or otherwise. I can't believe this is what they offer to their premier and first class passengers as a benefit! If I had to pay $40 for access to this club, I would have asked for my money back!

Dave C.

Yelp
It's really just, "ungood". There is absolutely nothing there except some places to plug in a computer. No food. No bar. I would say, "it's nothing to write home about", but here I am writing a yelp review. I wouldn't pay to go there.

Rob F.

Yelp
Overall, I'm disappointed with this space... it has so much potential if developed further. It is relatively small, and has limited amenities travelers would expect from a "Premier" lounge. Food options were the small, pre-packaged biscuits. When I walked by, there were maybe half a dozen available. Drinks were fountain sodas which were popular with those waiting. When I was there, no one touched the tea or coffee so wasn't sure if it was not popular or not in service. One other Yelp Review said something along the lines of "you're not missing anything and can skip this place." I would agree. I would hope Hawaiian renovates and adds more to this space. It is not a selling feature they should be proud to offer their customers at this time.

Carolyn M.

Yelp
For domestic First and Business class travelers, the premier lounge is a separate space where you can sit, drink water/coffee/juice and charge your devices before take off. There are restrooms here as well. The space is the size of maybe a small cafe with comfy chairs and tables for workspace. For those who work it's a nice quiet space. For the leisure traveler it's not much of a wow or worth it factor when you think "special or exclusive or relaxing space." There's a tv on the wall on low volume, it would honestly be nicer to play some soft Hawaiian music or instrumental calm sounds. I honestly feel like I'm in a doctor's office waiting room at Kaiser lol. Highlight: comfy chair, and Pau Hana brand plane snacks lol. Wtf.... Where's the food?!

Joyce T.

Yelp
Hmmm, no food or alcohol. Essentially a quiet place to relax in. There is soft drinks, coffee and POG. Little packaged "pau hana snack" mixes ready to be grabbed. Clean restroom. Show your boarding pass with status upon entering. Present it well, the check-in person wants to really confirm the info.

Scott M.

Yelp
One of the worst airline lounges I ever ever been to. Lame options for refreshments and no real staff to assist you except to check your status as you walk in. Hawaiian should be embarrassed to call this an airline lounge.

Shane A.

Yelp
You get some bags of pretzels and soft drinks. Not sure why this lounge can't have what others like the United lounge has on the mainland. You'd expect that the highest rated airlines in the state would be able to provide a lounge with at least some alcohol and better snacks. They keep pushing Pualani status yet give some $.05 pretzels and drinks...

Claire H.

Yelp
This is awesome! It's a really place to sit and relax after the tsa hustle and before the flight. Just show your boarding pass at the door. Vacation is off too an awesome start.

Shantell C.

Yelp
Located on the second level of the terminal between gates A and B, right after Starbucks. Best to hit this place up midday as it's always packed with travelers killing time between inter-island flights. Staffed with two attendants at the front who are friendly and helpful, I try to stop in often. It can get very crowded and therefore very hot in the lounge.

Michelle T.

Yelp
This lounge has very few of the perks available that you would normally associate with an airport lounge. It's the most-bare bones airport lounge I've been to. On the upside- it's relatively quiet and the restrooms are clean. Other than that, the only food available are small snacks like trail mix and soft drinks. The atmosphere is drab and sterile so it's not much to look at, but it's adequate to escape the crowds and charge your phone.

Mauling W.

Yelp
Disappointed in this lounge. No food! Not what I expected for a premier lounge for a caliber Hawaiian airlines! Coffee, tea, soda, espresso machine that's all! A snack bag of pretzels! Wished they served their famous dole pineapples or melons. Maybe a banana would be nice. Plus side- very clean sitting area and restrooms. The staff was very helpful and nice.

Angela C.

Yelp
First time traveling after pandemic. The lounge is clean. Bathrooms are nice and well cleaned. Sodas. Coffee, & snacks are Ava il le for self serve. Nice sofa chairs, tables and working desks with USB & regular charging stations are available.

Kelly L.

Yelp
If you have access including with your ticket or Hawaiian airline membership, it is ok. However, I would. Ot pay for this lounge. Amenities: free wifi, bathroom with 2 stalls only, drinks including coffee and soft drinks. Cleanliness: fairly clean. They do not have food or snacks here. There are shower availability. If you have to pay to use lounge at HNL airport, I would recommend to use the Priority lounge. They have better amenities, drinks, snacks, etc.

Tomomi S.

Yelp
I'll start from the positive. There is a glass door separating the outside from this room. There are more comfortable, padded chairs to sit on. And you can get unlimited number of mini snack mix bags if you like them. This is, by far, the least equipped and underwhelming Premier Lounge I've ever set foot on. No change room, no shower, no food, no glasses or utensils, no alcohol... it's like one of those waiting rooms at jiffy lube but slightly bigger. I usually get changed in the airport lounge when local weather is different from the destination weather. This is the first time I got a flashback to my high school time.... changing from my school uniform to skinny jeans and oversized Metallica T-shirt at train station bathroom!! Trying not to touch the floor or drop my clothes. Well, at least I know now...

AB R.

Yelp
I'm a Pualani member and disappointed that I must pay more money in order to have the ability to select my seat. I travel very often from HNL to LAX, often with toddlers and the fact that Hawaiian has this additional fee is disappointing! I have complained many times and my guess is it's fallen on deaf ears! Get it together Hawaiian! Start treating your gold members with some aloha!

Erci G.

Yelp
Nothing to miss here. If you need a drink, one fountain drink selection. No hot plate and only packaged tiny pretzel snacks. If you must come here, bottom down your expectations. Of course, don't come hungry.

Darren Y.

Yelp
While I appreciate being able to use this lounge it's as basic as they get. How to find it - after going through security take a left and walk toward the C gates and it will be on your right. Walk in and show your boarding pass and enjoy the perks! Perks? What? Yeah not really. Enjoy the air conditioning, the WiFi (they have passwords posted on tables or you can ask the attendant). They have a drink fountain and pau Hana snacks and passion guava drink available. Want some reading material - you can check out the same Hana Hou magazine you'll see on the plane or check out the newspaper (just leave it when you're done). Yep that's it. Still a decent place to rest before your flight but not much more than that

Matthew G.

Yelp
I signed up for the Hawaiian Premier Club during a spring sales special and it's taken 4 months to receive the welcome packet. Since the welcome packet contained our Plumeria Lounge passes, which was not delivered prior to our most recent trip, we went to the Premier Club lounge and it was a total let down. Crowded and very basic. Complimentary beverages (non alcoholic) and flight size snack mixes. It's okay but I was expecting more space and bigger bathrooms. It also seems very outdated. I won't be renewing my Premier Club membership at the current rate.

Nicholas A.

Yelp
I like to come here to gather myself after passing through TSA and to use the restroom. PreCovid there were small packages of snacks for people to take, coffee, fountain soda, and hot water. COVID era the snacks are gone but the drinks are still there, there's a vaccination status check before entering, and hand sanitizer. Inside there is lounge bench, some cushioned seats, and two long tables with power plugs.

AnnA H.

Yelp
The only airport location with a lounge for Hawaiin airlines is in Honolulu. It is more like a private gate with charging plugs, some sofas and comfortable chairs, coffee, tea and soft drinks. Oh I forgot the pretzels lol. Def no bar. This is the sorriest excuse for a first class passenger lounge I have seen around the world. (Boo hiss/thumbs down/fail)

Kelly K.

Yelp
Hawaiian airlines has 2 lounges. The nicer one is the Plumeria Lounge on the 2nd floor. The Premier lounge is just past the Starbucks to the left of security. We received a warm Aloha when we entered. Always nice! The lounge is on the smaller side. There were enough seats for everyone in the lounge at the time we were there. However I can see how during busy times it must get very crowded. This is a basic, no frills lounge. It has soft drink machines, some simple snacks, and bathrooms. We didn't see any attendants cleaning up or checking on guests. A decent place to wait for your flight but nothing outstanding except for the very friendly front desk. I wouldn't pay extra to get in but it's an ok perk. LOCATION: 3/5 FOOD: 1/5 SERVICE: 4/5 VALUE: 3/5 AMBIANCE: 3/5 CLEANLINESS: 3/5
