Google
This course is a stand out amongst many good places for mini golf. Each of the holes prings something unique but also challenging. I would recommend this place if you have a group of friends or family that wants to have a friendly competition.

Mike Carter

Google
Great place to play mini golf. The course was in excellent shape. The holes were challenging but not too difficult. Will definitely be going back.

Google
The staff was very friendly! It was beautifully landscaped and we enjoyed feeding the turtles and playing with the birds. It was also nice to practice our batting at the cages while we were there.

Google
Batting cages work pretty good but it got stuck one time. It was easy to unstick it ourselves. The putt putt golf was really good. Had a 3-year-old with us that even enjoyed it. Getting to feed the turtles was an added bonus. Along with the birds on the deck. Dancing with a cockatoo was fun.

Google
Our family had so much fun playing mini golf here during our Myrtle Beach vacation!! We had so much fun feeding the fish and turtles, and talking with the parrots. The courses were challenging but not difficult. The flaming volcano was the best part of the entire experience. The music was fantastic as well. It is fairly priced and definitely worth it.

Google
Played here with my dad today and had a fabulous time. We went right when they opened so there was no wait. The manager was extremely accommodating and friendly, and he really cares about his customers. The birds outside are really cute and friendly and will say “hello” as you arrive. The course itself is immaculate from the greens to the landscaping and walkways. One of the best mini golf courses I’ve ever played. I highly recommend you try out Hawaiian Rumble Golf!

OFF SEASON WARNING: If you go here Nov-springtime, check online or call to confirm hours. This was our second mini golf of the day and it didn't disappoint. We got there about an hour after opening with one group a 7 or so holes before us. Staff was friendly and got us set up very quickly. Course was fun, challenging, and the atmosphere was spot on. I can see why the masters holds their yearly tournament here. The photos kind of do it justice but it's much better in person. Watch out for the volcano every 20 minutes! Also make sure to spend some time with the rescue birds out front - they're very talkative. Just watch your fingers.

Google
What an awesome place for some mini-golf. The course may look simple but it's very challenging. The grounds are beautiful and the workers we interacted with were friendly and kind. The volcano "erupts" every 20 minutes and it's a bit loud so be sure you aren't about to swing! 😆

Yelp
Our family loves mini golf so we are always looking for new places. We love fun theming and holes with a little bit of a challenge. While in Myrtle Beach, a search for "Best Mini Golf" brought up Hawaiian Rumble so we knew we had to try it out. The theming was great with Hawaiian music and string lights, tropical foliage, and a volcano in the center. Each hole had a different Hawaiian word to learn, plus bleachers to sit on (makes sense with the Mini Golf PGA being held here) so if you find yourself having to wait, at least you have somewhere to sit. As far as challenge, I honestly would have expected more, but it was at least a level of difficulty higher than most places in MB which seem to be a lot of straight shot holes. Overall, its one of the better places in MB so definitely worth checking out.

Cindy B.

Yelp
Says they are open? Went to use the batting cages and no one was in the building. If you aren't open on Sundays post it.
google avatar

Nick R.

Yelp
Very well kept up course and facility. They offer two 18 hole options. Not the most challenging course but would be great for families with young kids. The volcano erupts with fire every 15 minutes or so and Hawaiian music plays through the course completing the theme.
google avatar

Sam W.

Yelp
There's a sign that reads home of the masters. I'm not really sure what that means but it doesn't speak well of the masters. The holes were underwhelming and the entry fee too steep. One star for the cool rescue birds but for mini golf, I'd go elsewhere.
google avatar

Meghan S.

Yelp
The 18 hole course with varying difficulty kept our party competitive and entertained. Loved the ability to purchase a trophy in the gift shop!!
google avatar

Robert R.

Yelp
The Couse was a good, price and we had a good time. Down visiting my Sister for my birthday. The course could use a little TLC but had a great time and the staff was friendly and helpful. There are two courses to choose from bordered and borderless, if you have kind I recommend the bordered one, else you will be chasing golf balls a lot.
google avatar

Joe T.

Yelp
Great time playing this course, although we did have to wait much more than usual because of a large group (6) that were in front of us and were not willing to let some of us smaller groups through. We weren't in a great hurry so we didn't press the matter, but I would have thought someone from the course would have seen the backup and said/done something.
google avatar

Yelp
This place has good ratings but I don't get why other than its a pleasant atmosphere/theme. The holes were basic and pretty easy-we were in and out. The depressed birds out front should have been a warning of the time we would have here. Seriously though, the "rescue birds" out front are just sad...sign states they are getting care but it doesn't look like it. When I asked the woman working about their situation she responded like she could care less about them. Bad reflection of the business in my book. Wouldn't come back. Wouldn't recommend.
google avatar

Skylar H.

Yelp
Perfect little put-put course for the evening! Their rescue birds were the cutest, as were the ducks and turtles. The volcano occasionally erupts too and spits fire from the top. The holes had varying difficulty, although every hole had a par 2. Not sure why people complain so much about this place, it was really fun.
google avatar

Joe M.

Yelp
Awesome putt putt course! Great attention to detail, and I loved the music. Came with kids and grandparents and it was great for all.
google avatar

J C.

Yelp
The scenery and the volcano in the middle is cool and the only reason it gets 2 stars. The holes for mini golf are the easiest holes we've ever played which makes it really boring. Too boring. We'll probably never go back because it's too easy

Jess M.

Yelp
The scenery was good but the actual holes we terrible. The course is not at all challenging and very boring.
google avatar

Diego G.

Yelp
My buddies and I went on a Sunday afternoon because the reviews weren't half bad. The front desk staff wasn't too friendly so that was an awkward start to our mini golf experience. The course was reasonable maintained but some signs were missing for different holes. Not too many challenging holes for anyone who isn't a kid but decent scenery surrounding the course nonetheless. $12 per person when we went which was a little steep given the relative size of this course. All in all, a halfway decent way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Myrtle Beach.
google avatar

Anthony G.

Yelp
Good time playing putt-putt at this course. Enjoyed the running creeks and water falls. Conveniently placed areas to grab some shade. The overall ambiance is cool and love all the palm trees.
google avatar

Kerry B.

Yelp
Two disappointing things about this course: 1) half of it was shut down so there were only 18 playable holes. We had played only half of the previous course in order to make it here in time to play the whole thing. It would have been nice were that noted anywhere. 2) the volcano never explodes. It hisses and steams, but I guess I thought it was more of a show. One surprise thrill: a friendly course cat! This is a beautifully landscaped course that feels like a tropical paradise. The holes are challenging, especially the cave where you can get your ball stuck among the rocks. I will keep an ear out for notice that the other half is open. As it was, by the time we finished the first 18 it was getting dark, and we made it back in time for pizza delivery. Win-win.

Angela L.

Yelp
Very well maintained course! Turf is really nice. There is limited shade. Plays like actual golf greens with challenging hills but doesn't have any of the pizazz you expect of mini golf (hidden holes, tunnels to other parts of a hole, different levels, etc). Volcano erupts with fire which is pretty neat!
google avatar

Veronica N.

Yelp
It's an Hawaiian themed mini golf course. Apparently it's been rated #1 by the PGA. They have an active volcano that fire comes out randomly. They also give you a Lai to wear to play golf. They have parrots out front when you walk in, they are very friendly & even say "hello" and whistle at you. If you have the time for a quick game this is your place.
google avatar

Thomas D.

Yelp
The Masters of mini golf! Thoroughly entertaining course. Very nice owner. Very clean. Would definitely return!
google avatar

David K.

Yelp
Cute BUSY place in NMB. It moves pretty quick. The putting service was very nice. Holes were ok not too challenging. The erupting volcano was cute and made nice noise and neat to look at. They need to ditch the Jimmy Buffet music playing over and over!! Change it. Maybe some night they have Hawaiian music?? My only reason for 4 stars is it was 11 bucks. With all the other putt putt places in the area I thought it was a bit over priced. But you will enjoy.

Matt P.

Yelp
I got $15 worth of tokens which was 90 pitches and 6 tokens. Machine worked 3 rounds worth of tokens. last 2 tokens didn't work, and I took my final token for a refund. I told the lady behind the counter it quit working correctly and asked for a refund. She said she had no way of giving me a refund. I said lady your machine quit and I paid. she said I would just have to come back. no refund. Really? Great way to steal from kids.
google avatar

Julia A.

Yelp
A fun course, not too rigorous. Provided a fun night out with friends! One star off bc I thought it could have been a little more difficult of a course, but that's really it! Front desk staff were fast, friendly and we were on the course in minutes!
google avatar

Sherry P.

Yelp
Cute little spot. Not a whole lot or decorations like other golf places around. Reasonably priced though.
google avatar

Jeff C.

Yelp
Some of the reviews of Hawaiian Rumble Golf are a bit harsh in my view. Sure it is a bit run down and the course could have more bells and whistles, but I think that is part of its charm. It is a throwback to better days of Myrtle Beach when things seemed a bit simpler. No, Hawaiian Rumble doesn't have windmills, castles, and other mini gold staples of tackiness sprinkled across the course. No, Hawaiian Rumble has a big ass volcano that rumbles ever 20 minutes and that really should be enough. I played it a couple of times this year, and I think it was one of my better mini golf outings. I still have my score card (2 over par) tucked away in my desk. I take it out during the Masters and British Open and think, "If only those courses had volcanoes, I might have a chance."
google avatar

Mitch A.

Yelp
My 7 year old hoped we could find a mini golf course here in MB. We are staying at The Havens in Barefoot Resort. She loved Hawaiian Rumble Golf. The guy working the counter was very friendly, our group had a great time. I don't like negative reviews and this one is not, we had a great experience and recommend Hawaiian Rumble. There were a few lights that should be replaced, but didn't effect our fun. Plus they played fun music that my wife enjoyed.
google avatar

Swindler L.

Yelp
Good clean course with some challenging holes. Perfect weather made the experience a whole lot better. Found this place out of nowhere! Love the birds. Will be back again.
google avatar

Regis R.

Yelp
The kids picked this place because it had the erupting volcano so we drive 45 minutes instead of the selecting closer places. That was a joke because the volcano did not even work at all. I told the lady at the front desk and all she has to say was that yea, we have not be able to get it to work. No apology, no coupon because the misleading advertising of a volcano erupting every 20 minutes. No nothing. There is no way this place was voted number 1. If so it has gone down hill since then. I will never go back.
google avatar

Lindsey G.

Yelp
There are many choices when it comes to mini golf in Myrtle Beach, but please take my advice and choose Hawaiian Rumble Golf! My family has been coming to MB my whole life and we've done so many of the mini golf courses, and I'd have to say this is now one of my favorites! Very clean and groomed grounds. A good mix between easy and Harder holes. Every hole is par 2, but some are designed to be hole in one holes and some are tougher. I got three hole in ones! Great theming, nice music around the course, nice touch with the live birds and turtles too! I would definitely return, but looking forward to trying one of their sister courses on my next trip.

Samantha M.

Yelp
Lots of fun! Interesting course and great for family fun. Love the parrots outside and always come here to see them. Staff is friendly and nice. Plenty of parking available.
google avatar

T P.

Yelp
Great course! Live turtles, exotic birds, & a volcano to top it off. The course is well maintained. It's not too challenging but not easy with lots of spots to shade you from sun. Good value if you want to play their other courses within the week.

Kristin T.

Yelp
Super fun date night with my hubby. Clean. Well-maintained. Got thru in about 40 minutes. Started later after the crowds and heat. Loved the volcano!!

Christine B.

Yelp
We just finished putt putt here and it was a lot of fun! The course was easier for adults but had a little challenge for the kids. The decor was a fun Hawaiian theme with lots of beautiful palm trees and greenery. Everything was well maintained. We had a nice family outing on an afternoon where it was threatening rain and we couldn't do the beach. The only bad thing was we had a family of 5 in front of us who ended up making us & 4 different groups behind us have to wait on them. We ended up skipping the hole they were playing and jumped one ahead of them and we were so glad we did that or we would still be there now!

Winx C.

Yelp
This spot is absolutely horrible the machine broke down every 5 pitches do not recommend at all service is horrible do not come here
google avatar

David D.

Yelp
What can I say about mini-golf? Not much really, I know less than Jon Snow about mini-golf. But the whole family had loads of fun on this course and I gotta say the course is spiffy. Only caveat is that some water aerosolization would be a great addition for the lava-hot summer days.
google avatar

steve m.

Yelp
Had a good time. Used a Groupon for all day golf, 4 people / $30. Ron, the guy behind the counter was a lot of fun to talk to. Will certainly return.
google avatar

Grayson B.

Yelp
There is a reason that they were named the #1 Mini-Golf course in American by Golf Magazine and Travel Channel. For $9 a person, you get 18 professional grade holes! It's fun for the whole family! They also have a webcam on hole 1 so make sure to tell your friends to go to prominigolf.com

Kate D.

Yelp
Oh no. This place was quite sad. Even the caged birds outside also seemed to be displeased with their experience at Hawaiian Rumble. Really unsure why this place was "rated #1 by golf digest" because the holes sparsely resembled any course I can think of. Overall, the course lacked spice, creativity, and difficulty. However, the staff and facility were pleasant and clean, respectively.

Trista M.

Yelp
Had a great time with the kids. Course was clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and pricing was fair. They have multiple courses in the area and offer combo pricing.
google avatar

Chris W.

Yelp
This was only place I could find open during the off season but there are clearly better places around. Was rather disappointed. Whats the mini golf professional tour any ways?

Kat M.

Yelp
So much fun! Love the volcano and flowers. Good price and some challenging holes. Liked the rescue birds outside.
google avatar

Jenn L.

Yelp
They took credit cards today. Excellent course with mixes of sun and shade and up/down sections. When you walk to the entrance there is a cool porch with several tropical birds. The owner/worker was pleasant. The crowd was minimal thanks to the early time we arrived. The top of the volcano lights up at random times. It was a great time for my family and me.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Putted here with two kids. It's a good course but not very challenging if you are a pro. Great for families with kids. Great atmosphere and sound affects. It's clean and well maintained. Looks like its been updated in the last year or so. Downside is they don't take cash.
google avatar

Justin S.

Yelp
Had a lot of fun at this course. It was hit, but there was a decent amount of shade for us to hide under. The course could use a little more upkeep, but overall I had a fantastic time.

Steve C.

Yelp
A really fun course. Good balance of still and acrobatics. Facilities getting a bit dated, but greens and course well kept. Me and the boys liked the erupting mountain and Buffett tunes. I'd give it a 4.5 if it was possible. We did not go to the batting cages.
google avatar

Bethany A.

Yelp
I came here with my cousin after reading that it was one of the best mini golf courses in Myrtle Beach, but we only thought it was okay. It's fun and some of the holes were surprisingly tricky, and it's definitely a well maintained course, but I prefer Mt. Atlanticus for sure. Nothing to write home about!

Heather B.

Yelp
The birds in the front were cool, the turtles were neat & so was the landscaping. Other then that I am not sure how this is rated #1 mini golf around. The course is not challenging at all. All par 2 holes. No obstacles or themes at the holes. After going here and taking a ride we wished we just drove around and found another course.
google avatar

Craig A.

Yelp
This place sucks. How imaginative do you have to be to place a wooden pole in front of the cup. So boring. $26 for me, wife and son. Rip off!!!!!!
google avatar

CW J.

Yelp
Ten years ago I can see that this place may have been the best miniature golf in the area, but the Commodore 64 used to be the best computer on the market as well. It's still a clean and friendly place to play miniature golf but do not rely on the ads claiming it is the best in the area. Nothing has been updated for at least 10 years and it looks a little weathered. Try something new!
google avatar

Nancy V.

Yelp
Really nice golf surface, fun layout, clean and a nice manager. It's fair and challenging. We enjoyed it. The owner offered us a round when we finished.

Stephanie M.

Yelp
My family really enjoyed this mini golf place while on vacation. We went in the evening on a Tuesday. It was not crowded. The course is well kept. The "greens" were clean and free of any debris. They have good lighting for going at night. They also have cafe lighting around the course adding to a nice atmosphere. The course was more challenging than a previous place I went to but overall it's not too hard. It's a good place for all skill levels. I can see why others rated it highly. I would come back to this place. They have large birds on site. That was fun to see them on the way in and out. Although, I thought it was odd at first. Employees were very nice.
