July Updates: Special offer in July (until 31st July 2025): On selected meals, just add $1 can get an ice lemon tea and a spring roll. Today is Monday, so I ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice again and paid $1 extra to make it a good deal 😍 Original Review: I visited this food court quite many times but never tried this Hawker Walker. Hawker Walker is located at the far end corner of the food court, just next to the toilet. Every time I visited this food court, I would have already ordered food from other food stall before I passed-by them. As they always looked a bit quiet and not popular, I was a bit hesitant to try. Today, I ordered a "special fried rice" to try. I have quite a bad impression that simple food like fried rice, not everyone can make it right and make it good in this food desert, Adelaide. Anyway, I didn't have much expectation, but surprisingly, the special fried rice was very yummy. It's in a generous portion, freshly made, served hot, with a few big shrimps, fish cakes slides, chicken thigh meats, and a lot of eggs. It's one of the best fried rice that I ever had in Adelaide. I would like to re-visit shortly to try their other dishes, such as Laksa, Hainanese Chicken Rice or Fried Kuay Teow, etc.

Absolutely delicious Singaporean laksa! Full of meat and seafood, and the portion was huge — great value for money. The broth was rich and creamy with so much flavour — I could drink it on its own! It came out piping hot (temperature-wise, not too spicy), just how I like it. Generous with prawns, chicken, and fishcake — every bite had something in it. Despite being lunchtime, the wait was short and the staff were lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend if you're craving authentic laksa with hearty portions and great service.

I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the food I received. The bitter melon was already spoiled, and the meatballs were not fresh. This made the dish unpleasant and not safe to eat. I kindly ask that you look into this issue and ensure better quality control in the future.

The new food court location is clean and easy to find a seat. My lunch that day has lost its touch l. It's a good portion and plenty of proteins but the hor fun didn't have the kick. The chicken was also slightly dry. From memory the prices are normal for the city around 17-$20 for most dishes, but I could be wrong. Dispite that we will try coming again when we are in the city.

Hawker Walker was absolutely delicious!!! Lunch cost me about $20 with a can of drink. (The lemon did not come from them) I had crispy pork and rice. Simple yet effective. Big serving but I finish the plate There is nothing I would change with this meal Service was fast and friendly. Would recommend.

Decent price with decent meal. Feel super full after finish meal. Sour palm juice is good. But a little bit sweet. They have quick food service and friendly attitude. Staff:English, Kangtongness, mandarin are all available. Menu:They only have English menu. Overall, it’s a great experience and highly recommended!

I love the new look to the restaurant, always clean unlike most other Asian places. The theme of a hawker centre is certainly there and the location is great. The food is good but I’d like to see more noddles without the seafood and more of some other protein. The hor fun is great but the gravy needs to be more thick. The plum juice is delicious taking me make to my childhood favourite drink.

I waited so long for them to re open downstairs at David Jones and it was worth the wait 😍 it’s my favourite place for KL style Yong Tau Foo with laksa soup. It may be the only place for this treat in Adelaide. For $18.71 (including now the fee for using tap and pay). You get choices of 2 extra pieces of YTF on top of the 2 you get given. Warm and light broth either plain clear broth or laksa style broth. So tasty😋
