Return visit as we enjoyed our last visit in September 2024. Ideal for a quiet relaxing R&R. |Excellent food and variety. There is always yogurt, fruits, smoothies/porridge, waffles, cereal, cold cuts, egg of your choice, sausage, hash brown, french toast, pastries/bread/muffins and a buffet for breakfast with tea/coffee/juices/water|Lunch menu includes a soup, salads with dressings, a buffet of veges, rice, halal chicken/beef, seafood ( mussels/fish/mahi mahi) pork, and local options in various styles ( bbq, chinese, pasta, creole), lovely desserts with drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. |Dinner is usually a little dressy with live music or dj and the food is the same options as lunch with house wines and a different variety from lunch. |Drinks are usually consistent with the only drawback for breakfast being the birds and sometimes flies |On the beach there is the Sea grapes Restaurant with a fixed menu and a drinks bar and an afternoon tea station. The fish burger is recommended. |The beds are comfortable and the rooms are according to what you pay for whether garden or ocean front. Suggest a short tap instead of container of water to wash sand from feet as you walk. The toilets need to be monitored for functionality. The grounds are wide and so it involves a bit of walking, with some stairs to reception and main restaurant. I would suggest footpaths be widened to accommodate motorized transport for older folks. The other restaurant which has to be reserved has an amazing view of the property and the beach. |The beach is lovely with clear calm water where you can actually bathe with fishes or snorkel by the rocks |Water sports include paddle boats, a trip on a sailboat with Gerald which is recommended free ride but leave a tip, or jet skis at a cost. |It was my 2nd time at Hawksbill (took advantage of reduced cost offer the 2nd time) and hopefully not my last.
