After the not perfect experience in the cafe … i really enjoyed the HAY shop .. staff are super helpful and friendly the australian sales lady was one of those lovely faces i met in amesterdam.. she makes my shopping experience very beautiful.. i love this brand i used to buy their items from department stores but this is the first time i visit a their own shop its amazing

My first to visit the store physically. Used to cop a couple of nice stuff through Selfridges and shipped to my place. The experience is much more elevated when I touched and felt the products. Every piece is desirable and hope I have brought a bigger luggage with me😞

Love this coffee place. Very friendly staff and the food is delicious. Try the freshly pressed orange juice. The chai latte is another favorite. And before I forget-- don't leave without a truffle...the most delicious chocolate with a touch of whipped cream inside. They will sell them to you frozen if you ask, so that they will be perfect when you get home... Or back to the cruise ship in my case.

Really poor quality and customer service. Have purchased 6 chairs there in 2015 from the Copenhague collection. Unfortunately the quality is so poor that these chairs didn’t last for even 6 years. Though the chairs look very nice , with design you may expect from HAY, the quality of the mechanical construction is so poor that after 5 years the wood started to tear for the first chair. Then later, the second, and third, all at the same spot. This is obviously a design error in the construction, as they all tear in the same place. Moreover, Hay took these chairs -as the only part- out of sale for the Copenhague collection. All the rest is still there, another sign there is something very wrong with these chairs Contacting customer service , initially just with a note to make HAY aware of this , and ask whether they had any concrete suggestions to repair, led to a non-response :” go find yourself a repair shop”. Extremely disappointing for such a (perceivedly) premium brand

Cool stuff and beautiful furnitures that I wished I could have been able to bring back home to Bangkok. The cafe offered good coffee.

I absolutely love the new HAY store. I love their beautiful products and lovely furniture but I hate their prices. It is way to expensive for me unfortunately. I went there this afternoon and totally fell in love with their chairs but the prices are crazy. Like over a 1000 euros for one chair..uhhh no. That's just to much. Even if I had more money I don't think I'll ever pay that for one chair. Everything is lovely though. It's nice to visit this place for inspiration even though you know you're not going to buy anything. They do have some cute decorations and glassware that is affordable, although it still is not cheap. Nice extra; Koffie Salon will open soon in the shop so you could have a nice cup of coffee while you drool over all that beautiful unaffordable stuff.

Ugh I wish I had the moolah to actually buy things here. If you are a fan of Danish modern furniture like me then you will love perusing through this store. Get some design ideas. Splurge on some of the items. Pick up a book or cute knick knack for design loving friends. There's a Koffie Salon opening there in a week or two as well so will definitely be an excellent place to just sit and linger and day dream of Hay decorated flat.

The absolute most gorgeous + chic store in all of Amsterdam. I stopped at a lot of stores but nothing like this one. Their products have their own personality with Hay stamped all over it. Their ideas are modern and are fit for the everyday home or office. Would furnish my home with their furnishings if I didn't have to pay so much for shipping.

This brand has really gone downhill, quality and customer service is very poor, not worth the money, i had to bin the about a chairs after 6 months due to construction issues, a 1600€ mistake ob my part
