Google
View was great service was good and the view was nice also … Had the wagyu burger and the wife had portabella burger. Both were amazing highly recommend. The blood Mary’s were not bad either!! BUT BE AWEAR THEY AUTOMATICALLY ADD A 20% SERVICE CHARGE TO EVERY MEAL 🤬!!!!! $100.00 meal just for two… little ridiculous

Google
I ate here a few times during our stay… the atmosphere is excellent.. beautiful views, variety of seating, nice artwork…. Staff was excellent, very kind and even remembered my drink the next day, tables were cleared quickly, and very accommodating to any needs… My lower ranking was the food… the menu is awesome and I wanted to try so many things but I didn’t find anything to be “excellent”…. First day I had a very good salad but that was the only five star item during all my visits…. We ordered the carrot cake one evening and it was good but that was overshadowed by the very long wait we had ☹️. The two soups I had were so-so, same with both sandwiches…. So I recommend stopping for the wonderful hospitality if you’re at the resort, but don’t expect mouth watering food…..

I reached out to Haydens Post to host a team dinner for a meeting for work that we were hosting. I called with a week out and I must say that Solisia and her team are ABSOLUTELY top notch!!! Food was great, service was amazing, view outside can't be beat and most specially she worked with her team to come up with custom drinks and table settings featuring our products. They were fantastic and can't recommend enough :) Thanks crew!!

Google
Service was great the few times we dined here during our stay. The food was tasty when it was on point but it wasn't consistent. The 1st 2 photos are of the beet & burrata salad which tasted as amazing as it looks. Ordered it again and it was completely different, missing the burrata & balsamic glaze 🙃

Google
Absolutely delicious vegan options. The farmer’s market bowl is amazing. Not sure if the veggies are seasonal, but our bowl came with Brussels sprouts, butternut squash, and cauliflower, and WOW! They know how to cook tofu right. The fried artichoke sandwich is good as well, but I totally recommend the bowl. The inside of the restaurant is so cute, and smells like firewood. If I come back to Jackson, I’m definitely hitting this place up. I just wish they would enforce more spaced out seating instead of letting folks choose where to sit.

Google
Great food. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast. Diverse menu with nice vegan options. Free range salad was large and delicious. C.S.S. Sandwich was yummy and the fried potato wedges were killer! Sunrise oatmeal breakfast was very filling, and presentation was nice. Chef Rachel has really delivered on this menu. Angela provided great friendly service. Local craft beer on tap was fresh and cold! Morning bartender/ server did a great job even while faced with short Covid staffing. Can’t wait to return to Snow King and dine at Hayden’s!

The aroma makes your mouth water. Nothing we tried in the menu was disappointing. Even the drinks and deserts were delicious. The staff is very friendly, and the views are great.

Google
Excellent excellent cook, the food is delicious. We ordered to the hotel once and came over 2 times. I ordered the cow boy steak. It was cooked well and very tender on the inside. Delicious, and even the veggies are really good. Came in the morning before leaving for coffee and an avocado bagel and that too was really delicious.

Yelp
We attended with a large group. Solid food, excellent service. Great views, would go back again

Yelp
Needed a quick bite and this place sufficed, though you'd need to remove the quick part. The food was adequate. Salad was good. Wings were ere okay, nothing special. And the flatbreads were nothing fancy but hit the spot. Our substitute server from the front desk was great, but it did take a quite a while to get the check (not from her, whoever was on shift). The views were great and we were able to eat outside and even saw a deer walk by.

Eleanor B.

Yelp
Excellent atmosphere but a disappointing experience with what I ordered. Do NOT order the Turkey-Bacon-Club sandwich to go. The toasted sourdough was stale and tasted like cardboard. The turkey and avocado was so-so, the mayo was smeared on in globs - thrown together. The fries were coated in too much SALT and were also cold. To add insult to injury I paid over $20 for this and gave the bartender a nice tip because he was running around like a chicken making drinks, taking orders and racing back and forth from the kitchen. The manager looked like a slacker - over-seeing all the insanity and not helping at all. I hope this was just a rare bad day where someone called in sick. Usually this place is much better. I picked at the sandwich and tossed most of it in the trash.

Yelp
Beautifully decorated place- totally creates a good ambiance. Love the antler chandeliers! I do think it's overpriced- but so are a lot of places in Jackson Hole. Decent service. I got the Teton Greenery Salad. It was SO GOOD! It was the perfect sized salad and it was super refreshing. I sat outside. There were some bees but that's sort of expected.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant a few times over the past few days and although sometime I needed to wait to be served, the stat was always pleasant and the staff is kind and personable. The happy hour smash burgers and wings seem to be a hit amongst my group. Conveniently, there is always 20% gratuity included that is well displayed on the menu. This is a great spot to drink coffee and watch the skiers come down the slope.
google avatar

Yelp
Stayed at the Snow King Resort and ate at the restaurant our first night there. The food was pretty good for a hotel restaurant. My husband got the trout and I had the bison burger. Trout was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, flaky inside, and well seasoned. Bison burger was really juicy, flavorful, and easy to eat. Our server was pretty nice. They weren't the most attentive, but we got our food and had a fine time. There's also a great happy hour menu for after hitting the slopes. The loaded fries were particularly good after a full day of snowboarding. The lodge is really nice with log beams, big windows, and views of the mountains.

Katherine A.

Yelp
Salad looks boring in the box since it was to go but it had so much flavor that I enjoyed it! Very filling as well. Wish there was more hot honey and goat cheese, but that's just cause I like those ingredients. Online menu is a 9$ difference, so beware prices aren't up to date if you're looking on their website.
google avatar

Kim P.

Yelp
The service is excellent. That's why I'm giving them the extra star. The food is okay. The breakfast buffet is free for us because we're staying longer than 3 night but retails for $20/person. I would never pay that for the breakfast. It's a typical ski resort restaurant with more or less bar food that's over priced. But the wait staff is honestly 5 star!!!
google avatar

Chuck R.

Yelp
I had the egg any way breakfast that included two fried eggs, 3 sausage links, breakfast potatoes and sour dough toast. The food was fine and the service was good. The mountain view from the dining room was nice.

Yelp
Should have ordered fast food. This is the second time I've been sorely disappointed. The last time I was here, I ordered the pepperoni flat bread and it was overcooked and overpriced. The one thing this place has is consistency, once again it was horrible. This time ordering the chicken and waffles with milk gravy. The chicken was burnt and salty. The milk gravy was bland and had an aftertaste of rubber. The waffles were soggy. I've made better waffles at a free breakfast from a hotel doing it myself. Never will I make the mistake of eating here. What I ordered was $21 and had a 20% service fee. I actually ordered it to-go so I'm extremely disappointed with this place. This restaurant makes McDonald's at the level of fine dining.

Yelp
Nice lunch spot while taking a break from Snow King Mtn activities. Country music sets the mood. Service was great and the food was super. Recommended for a quick bite for lunch.
google avatar

Nadine R.

Yelp
I was able to put a breakfast together out of a buffet that was in dire need of a refresh. The pastries were stale but most importantly the coffee was weak. The only thing I liked were the potatoes. It wasn't worth the expense.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was good. The mahi tacos were yummy. The nachos were ok... mostly just chips. But the service... it was bad. The sign said to seat yourself and when we did no one came to bring us drinks or check on us for at least 10-15 min (and it was not busy). We ended up having to get up and ask for service. The table next to us had to do the same. We had to walk up to a server and ask them to take our order. Being there for an hour and half they never came by to refill our waters and we had to again get up to ask for refills. We then had to get up a third time to ask for the check because no one ever came by our table. Overall, very disappointed in the service. Not to mention they charge you 20% service... for what service. I would understand if it was busy but it was slow and there were multiple servers. Bummer! Pretty location though haha
google avatar

Stefany D.

Yelp
Honestly wasn't expecting much from this place because it's a resort restaurant, which sometimes they're not that great in my opinion, but I pleasantly surprised about Hayden's. My friend and I shared the nachos and the steak sandwich. The nachos were probably some of the best I've had. They were so delicious and we didn't even add any meat to them. The sandwich was also tasty! Service was a little slow but nothing awful at all and everyone was very nice, so wasn't much of a concern. If you're spending the day at Snow King this would def be a good option!

Liz S.

Yelp
Disappointed. While the trout was good the steak fritte was chewy and half was impossible to eat. Dinner salad came out after meals had been delivered. Server said she should have checked on when we wanted. Where in the US do you not get salad before dinner. She did not know dishes or accompaniments when we had some questions. On the upside she was friendly but excused all with saying she was new. At these prices and a 20% service charge I expect better training of staff- coming from people with hospitality background. View was nice

Penelope B.

Yelp
Hands down the best grilled cheese and tomato soup I've ever had! A must try! Yummmmm!
google avatar

S L.

Yelp
This is the only restaurant available inside Snow King resort at night. There's a 20% gratuity automatically added to ALL orders. They also expect tip on top of that. It's absurd. The food is terrible. Don't get anything with beef. The steak tough, the broccolini was uncooked, and if you told me the braised stew was from canned dog food, I would believe you. It smells terrible and looks unappetizing. The only good thing here are the fries, but at $8 + 20%, that's absurd for fries. Do yourself a favor and make the 15 minute walk into town and get real food. If you don't want to walk, use the Start On Demand bus for free.

Yelp
This place is an absolute tourist trap. It looks pretty on the outside, but then flops on the food. The prices are exorbitant. I had a margarita and a steak for $78. The service was awful. We had to constantly flag him down for drink refills. The first margarita that was brought out wasn't a standard margarita, like I ordered. It was a strange concoction with orange juice. I had them take it back and remake it. It was very odd. My steak came out well after the rest of my party. We ordered at the same time, but some of my friends were done eating by the time my steak arrived. I ordered my steak medium rare. It was rare and cold in the middle. It wasn't juicy or flavorful. I thought steaks would have been a safe bet in Wyoming, but not here.
google avatar

Mike D.

Yelp
Excellent service with great menu choices.. did salad with grilled chicken and shepherds pie .. both great tasting . Note automatic 20% service charge. Thus I was limited on extra tipping.
google avatar

Daniel P.

Yelp
Terrible service. Lots of open tables and didn't get checked on once. Had to flag someone down to get water, check, order more drinks. And they charge 20% service fee..what service????

Patricia B.

Yelp
We had an exceptional Christmas Eve dinner at Hayden's Post. Although we had the option of ordering from the regular menu, the chef had prepared a Christmas Eve Special. The special included a mushroom toast appetizer, fillet of beef with fingerling potatoes & green beans, and a chocolate yule log desert. Two of us ordered the special and every bit of it was a culinary delight. I'm not usually a meat lover, but this fillet was prepared perfectly. The mushroom toast was delicious, and the yule log desert was heavenly. The presentation of each course was beautiful. The atmosphere at the restaurant was warm and festive. Our service was excellent. Our server, Jeremy, was attentive, friendly, and accommodating! I've eaten in every restaurant in Jackson Hole. I have to say, this was the best dining experience I've had in decades. Everything was perfection! Thank you Jeremy and thank you, Chef! It was a Christmas Eve to remember!
google avatar

Kathy L.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant at a great hotel with great food and friendly staff. Perfect mid day ski break.
google avatar

Josh T.

Yelp
Food is ok. Service is slow and staff really has no system or process for serving tables, nor do they know the menu well. We stayed at the associated resort for a week and ate here several times. The experience was the same each time. Ambiance is cool though.
google avatar

Andrea S.

Yelp
Convenient spot if you're staying at Snow King Resort. First time eating here was Christmas dinner. We sat outside because of our dog. The worst service. The hostess ended up being our server and i think that was her first time as a waitress. The food was horrible. We tried their breakfast as well and for the price you're paying it is definitely not worth it. This city is so small you're better off catching a free ride with start on demand and going to one of the local restaurants in town.
google avatar

Rina O.

Yelp
Not good, service was okay. Some reason one person working the whole dining area. He had a bad cough too. I imagine sanitary measures wasn't taken too well as he wore same gloves during my visit. Was cringey couldn't even eat my entree. In which that was flavorless, not good and over priced. I guess at least they tried....

Ana M.

Yelp
Disappointing, poor service and lack of ownership when a poor product was served(front mgr reports he's not responsible for kitchen staff errors). To go order placed for cobb salad w chicken(for additional cost $6) arrived with 5 small chx cubes and several toppings missing on arrival back to our hotel. I had to go back to the restaurant and request the salad be properly made. Ray(front mgr), offered to put chicken on the salad I had to bring back to prove the error, and simply told me he was not in charge of kitchen staff, which is a diappointing leadership response. I asked to be refunded for the salad which he eventually took off the bill. Food was fair at best, not very flavorful, once able to sit down and eat this salad. I wouldn't return.
google avatar

Joel H.

Yelp
Nice outdoor seating, with high top and regular tables. There's indoor seating and a bar as well. I had one of the healthy sounding salads with salmon. It was big enough for two, but I ate the entire thing. All the ingredients are fresh and crisp, with the salmon moist and tender. The burgers and sandwiches at other tables looked good.
google avatar

Cory M.

Yelp
We had breakfast and lunch here. Ordered lunch to go because breakfast was so good. It's rare to find such delicious gluten free options. Looking forward to coming back.
google avatar

Jimmy K.

Yelp
We made a reservation, but really didn't need it as we were the only people there when we arrived (7:30 for a 8pm reservation). We started with a drink at the bar. Drinks were good even with the bar manager training a new employee. Their signature drink the velvet antler was decent. My wife got the champagne cocktail (prosecco since they don't carry champagne) which was decent as well. We went to our table for dinner. Started with the deviled eggs, which were excellent. My wife got the filet with mashed potatoes and asparagus. I got the bolognese. Food was good. Decent potions for the price. Service was quick. Wasn't quite what we were expecting when we made the reservation, but still nice.

M. B.

Yelp
Great location at base of Snow King. Good selection of micro brews on tap and in can. Caesar salad was great. Know that they do add a mandatory service charge (not happy about that) but our server was upfront and made us aware of that so we could tip accordingly. Will return on next visit!

Robin R.

Yelp
We went this evening for their taco Tuesday. The restaurant did not appear that busy (about half the tables empty) the host and manager were running around doing as much as they could, but we didn't have a server come up to us for 35 mins. the manager checked on us twice and assured us the server would be there soon yet we waited the whole time with no luck. When he did finally arrive, he greeted us with a lacklustre "what do you want"... we didn't even have a drink menu yet. He then needed to be pressed about the specials and didn't know half of them. Decided to leave because we didn't want to give the added 20% for that type of service.

luna r.

Yelp
We recently stayed at the snow king resort, and ate here plenty of days. I honestly was not expecting much from a hotel restaurant, but the food here is actually really good! And I consider myself to be on the snobbier end of food . Things that we tried: the crispy pork belly poutine (and I don't even like poutine, but this was a winner), the mixed game chili, and the shaved Brussels sprout salad (hit the mark when we were feeling like we needed something healthy). The bartenders were all kind and attentive and responsive to our needs. I think this a great spot to apres ski!

Alexander L.

Yelp
About the food equivalent of a Friday's or Chile's with worse service. No belligerent experiences. Just mediocre or worse bar food and entrees. Indifferent, poor service. It surprises me whomever oversees the resort tolerates this level of incompetence. I think the automatic 20% gratuity is generally a good thing. Usually it occurs at fine resorts where the staff is so great 20% is your starting point. The Breakers in Palm Beach comes to mind. Conversely, at Hayden's Post the built in 20% seems to incentivize sub par service. In summary STAY AWAY unless you are stuck and need to choke something down.

Zach L.

Yelp
Worst restaurant in Jackson. We were there for 15 minutes before being greeted. Staff was overwhelmed by a partially seated restaurant.
google avatar

Fran M.

Yelp
Had a wonderful stay at this resort. We first ate dinner here on a Sunday evening. Cocktails, appetizer, salad and entree were delicious and the service was excellent! I sent compliments to the chef! We were looking forward to another meal on Monday after a long day touring Yellowstone. What happened?! The food and waiter were sub par and even the same cocktail was charged higher than before. 2 of the items of one entree were complained about but no offer of a substitute. All I can figure is it was it chef's night off and others? Regardless, an anticipated good meal should be expected. Was it a hit or miss or just unfortunate?

Gunnar W.

Yelp
On the Monday of March 6th at about 10am, I ate breakfast at Hayden's post. Do not eat here unless you want to wait 10 minutes to get your utensils and water. Then not be checked on by your waitress for the next 30 minutes even after everyone at your table has no water and is clearly done eating. You then will have to shout across the restaurant just to be ignored by wait staff. Then to top it all off the waitress literally disappeared out of sight for the last 15 minutes so the bus boy had to finally give us our check. My suggestion is go anywhere else other than here even if you are staying at the snow king. Also can't forget to mention that they automatically charge gratuity no matter how bad the service was.
google avatar

Philip B.

Yelp
Very nice western decor with a great view of the base of the snow king ski resort. Wait staff was attentive, friendly and very helpful. Tried the buffalo chili and it was fair. It was a little to dark and earthy for me. Tried the nacho appetizer with the habanero cheese and brisket and it was great. The homemade potato chips were all cooked perfect and even. A rare feat most restaurants can't do. They had a cocktail named the dangerita, that had habanero infused tequila which I could not get enough of. Recommended.
google avatar

Sandy S.

Yelp
So we are staying at the snow king resort which has been great. Tonight we decided to eat out and came down to the restaurant. Our service was terrible we could never find the waiter. Our water glass had things floating in it. The French onion soup was good but we could never find the waiter We got beer which never came and I ordered a salad which never came and watch my husband eat his ribeye. The rib eye was pretty ok and the loaded back potato tasted as if it had been under a watered for hours. The restaurant offers a great view and is clean and warm the bar looks full stocked of you can get a drink The bartender was a women nice looking and was really quick at serving young nice looking men. So we won't be back and don't let David be your Waiter
google avatar

Nicole W.

Yelp
Staying at a luxurious, and expensive, hotel such as the Snow King, we were eager to wind down and order some room service. We called once, got out on hold, no problem. After being on hold for 5 minutes I could hear the woman on the other end casually talking back and forth with her colleges. After 13 minutes I had enough and hung up. At this point we were desperate and starving. We called back and got a very kind man that got us taken care of right away. "Your food will be up in 30 minutes" ONE HOUR LATER our food arrives, and it's a mess. The vegetables looked as if they had been plucked from the scraps bin. Very little sauce/seasoning making everything bland and dry. So disappointing, and of course we over paid for this experience. Overall, pretty disappointing.

Mark P.

Yelp
Like this place as it's actually IN the hotel, but, wow, what erratic service. I ate here often during a 4-day visit, but gave up on one breakfast visit: had to wait about 5 minutes to place an order, and then, after another 20+ minutes, walked out as there was such a massive delay in the actual food service. If the restaurant had been busy, that's one thing, but it wasn't with perhaps two or three tables with guests. On the very positive side, they have several excellent vegan options which was a pleasant surprise. They were fabulous. If they could just find out why the service speed is so erratic, they'd have received 5 stars. Worth a visit, but don't be any sort of hurry.

Yelp
So it has been an amazing trip to Jackson Wyoming and partly because of Hayden's post Angela (the manager) Christina our waitress and staff have been completely AMAZING we did have a couple of hiccups on my husband's ribeye but guess what!?!? It was taken care of immediately by Angela ,my husband was so impressed with how well she took the positive criticism my husband actually thought he would half to get in a verbal confrontation but NO. Angela listened to our concerns and she took care of it we were so impressed we came back again and tried something else such as the crabcakes the buffalo salad and Brussel sprouts me and my husband shared all three and we left STUFFED!!!!! We left not only full but satisfied n impressed by the staff we will definitely come back it was worthwhile trip up the mountain to eat AMAZING food AMAZING service.. Decent prices what more do u want

G H.

Yelp
This is a great place for dinner. We had a filet steak and sea scallops. Both were delicious! Waiter had no problem subbing our veggies and he was delightful. Service was a little on the slow side, but we were in no hurry. We felt like they did a great job with the social distancing and Covid issues. The view was lovely. The only thing we didn't love was the bread pudding. It was rather bland.
google avatar

Robert N.

Yelp
I stayed at the Snow King resort for approximately a week and frequented Hayden's Post for lunch, dinner, and in-between meal drinks when relaxing at the hotel. The food and drinks were always good and the staff were always friendly. Every time I visited, the time to place an order (or even to be greeted with waters at the table) was 10+ minutes. The slow turnaround time doesn't seem to be neglect of the staff, but almost a lack of staff on the shift. At the current breakfast meal it took 20 minutes for someone to pass of waters and another 5 minutes to ask for orders (from a different person). If you are in no rush, this place will work for you as every meal was above average.

Forest H.

Yelp
Great food and drinks, but even on a slow day.... slowest.... service... ever. We sat down after visiting the host, waited, finally went up to the bar to order our drinks ourselves, still waited, finished our drinks and ordered our second drinks again from the bar. Our waiter visited one table 4 times and still hasn't even greeted us. I'm a local and trust me, this is not a one time occurrence, it's the worst service in town. Only getting two stars because the cooking staff actually has their stuff together
google avatar

Mike T.

Yelp
First time here. Surprised to find poke bowl and salmon on menu. They were good. Only suggestion, gdt some extra soy sauce.. Also super green salad was good. Don't be in a hurry, and much better option than yet another burger.
google avatar

Nicolette B.

Yelp
Do not get the grilled cheese!!! The cheese was not melted, onions were not caramelized, and the bread was not "grilled." The ambiance is nice and it is convenient that it is in a hotel. Good for drinks, but stay away from the food.
google avatar

Olga L.

Yelp
Loved this place! We stayed at the hotel and ate a few meals here and all were delicious. The outdoor patio is lovely with beautiful views and heat lamps. The inside tables are spaced apart which helped us feel safe dining inside during Covid. The farmers bowl with salmon was so good and my favorite dish, although everything was good!
google avatar

Casey V.

Yelp
Honestly pretty disappointed by our overall experience here. We were the only ones waiting in line at 4:45 for dinner and it took 25 minutes and two trips to the bar for a staff member to even recognize that we were waiting to be seated. Dinner took about an hour to be served on a Monday night at 3/4 covid capacity, the nachos were absolutely bare minimum with toppings, and for dessert we had to wait 20 minutes for them to wash a skillet for a brownie that wasn't even cooked in the skillet. All entrees were very good and our server was very attentive but overall our experience wasn't great and we won't be back again during our trip.

Yelp
We are staying at Snow King and have had breakfast and lunch here. Wonderful restaurant- service is not consistent (great at breakfast but not so much for late afternoon drinks and apps. The food is good and beautifully presented.Their French toast and oatmeal at breakfast was amazing!.
