I placed a routine online order, including a doll. When I placed the order, I intentionally did not use a 10% off code because I wanted to be extra supportive of small businesses, especially right now.
I paid the extra $18 for my child's monogram on the doll. I was very surprised that they filled the order so quickly, too quickly, it seems. The doll arrived without the monogram. The store offered to let me ship it back to be fixed or refund me the monogram cost. My dtr was not about to agree to send it back, so we asked for the monogram charge to be refunded. Given that it was their mistake, it would be basic good customer service to offer some kind of consideration, even if I weren't inclined to accept.
Additionally, although adorable, some of the doll clothes are quite difficult for children to don and doff for the dolls without tearing the garments or at least some stitches, especially the overalls and elasticized dress sleeves.
