Hazrat Nizamuddin Railway Station is one of the major stations in Delhi, and it's usually quite busy. The platforms are decent, and you can find basic facilities like waiting rooms, food stalls, and water dispensers. The signage is mostly clear, which makes it easier to find your train even if you're new to the station. That said, the cleanliness can be hit or miss depending on the time of day, and the area outside the station is often crowded and chaotic. If you're traveling during peak hours, give yourself some extra time. Overall, it's functional and serves its purpose well, but there's definitely room for improvement in terms of cleanliness and crowd management.

Visited this station recently — both yesterday and today — and the experience was mixed. The back entry near the metro station is definitely a plus point for convenience, but the moment you step in, it feels more chaotic than organized. The crowd management is poor, and the entry doesn’t really give the impression of a major railway station — even I was surprised at how unstructured it felt. The station is large with many platforms, handling a high volume of passengers, but the infrastructure feels old and worn down. For such a major hub, it definitely needs upgrades in construction, cleanliness, and crowd control to meet the basic standards of travel comfort.

Main gate is okay but the gate near Sarai Metro is the shittiest. The entry is really shady where you can smell people smoking weed, no cleanliness at all and not at all safe for women. Prefer main gate if you are not coming via metro as this entry is really shady

Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station (station code: NZM) is part of the Indian Railways network. Located in South Delhi, it is operated by the Delhi division of the Northern Railway. Serving as one of the five primary railway stations in the Union Territory of Delhi, it handles nearly 250 trains daily. Well maintained busy railway station....safe environment 👍

When it comes about hospitality you can get into the ac waiting which located at the exit route just four steps down and in the right side ..you can always find a little bit of rush of public over there but when it comes to managing cleanliness and hygiene it was good..💥

Railway station has 7 platforms I think. Premium waiting lounge also available here. Toilets also available. I went in December in winter season. It was very cold. All facilities available here. Food items also there. Very clean railway station.
