We had a delightful two-night stay at Headland house and loved everything. Amazing hosts, beautiful room with wonderful views over Carbis bay. We loved the extra touches in the room especially the home made cakes. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and made to order which was served in the conservatory with sea views.|We enjoyed the location as the house sits just above Carbis Bay with easy access to the railway and all the local restaurants, beach and coastal walks. |We loved the area and will definitely be returning.

Just back from a fabulous stay at Headland House! We have stayed at many B&Bs but this one is very hard to beat! Mark and Finella were great hosts and have literally thought of everything to make your stay perfect. Great location, quiet and very comfortable room, superb breakfasts, and all the little things which makes your stay super special such as a welcome drink when you arrive and homemade cake in the afternoons… it felt like a home from home and we wouldn’t hesitate to return when we visit Carbis Bay. Thank you both!

Stayed from 12th to the 19th of August and we had the Porthminster room with a wonderful view. This was the 2nd time we have stopped at Headland House, and it won't be the last. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location with easy access to the the train station (3 minutes walk) and Carbis Bay beach, and onwards along the coastal path to St Ives if you want to be adventurous.|Fenella and Mark are fabulous hosts and make you feel very welcome and can't do enough for you. The breakfast is delicious from Cereal, Freshly made Yoghurt, Smoked Salmon to a Full English Breakfast, plus cake in your room when you get back in the afternoon. |The bed is really comfortable and the room and the whole of the house is spotlessly clean, to be honest I cannot say a bad word about our stay here.|Please book and enjoy you're stay here you won't be disappointed

We had an amazing stay at Headland House during our trip around Cornwall. Mark and Fenella went above and beyond to make the stay exceptional. We were greeted with welcome drinks and chocolate cake, and the breakfast was delicious. The room is bright, very spacious and luxurious, and the house is located just a stones throw away from the beautiful beach. Highly recommend staying here if you want to get away from the chaos of St. Ives but still be close enough to get into town if you need.

We spent 4 nights at Headland House and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Mark and Finella are wonderful and informative hosts. Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and usually held us until dinner.|The house has been renovated for purpose so it is very well appointed and comfortable. We stayed in the Cape Cornwall room that is very large with an en-suite bathroom. The room also had an American size king bed which was very comfortable!|We enjoyed the location as the house sits just above Carbis Bay with easy access to the railway (3 minute walk) and all the local restaurants and activities. We also walked into St.Ives which was an easy 15 minute walk.|We loved the area so plan to return to Cornwall and will definitely stay at Headland House.

We stayed for a long weekend and felt better cared for here than we have at some five star properties. It's got the warmth of a B&B but the facilities and slick operation of a boutique hotel. Mark and Fenella are ready to help you with anything including (but not limited to): - Divulging hidden gem car parks in St. Ives - Cooking up a cracking breakfast spread - Navigating Sunday hours in the countryside when you're a London idiot who's used to transport at all hours (it's me I'm the idiot) - Offering tales from Mark's illustrious career as a Bond Street jeweller - Making sure you come back to lovely slices of cake in your room after walking miles round the bay It's less than a five minute walk from the Carbis Bay station. Trains come through every half hour, and just one stop to St. Ives, so it's also a good place to stay if you've not come with a car. My husband (who notoriously never wants to visit the same place twice) has already said he'd be happy to stay here again, which says it all.
