Current front-runner for best croissant I’ve had in Bushwick/Ridgewood. Flaky but not too flaky. Buttery but not too buttery. Golden but not borderline burnt. Medium-sized. This is the Goldilocks of croissants

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city! We used to go once a week when we lived in the neighborhood, and now still make the 20 minute walk every couple of weeks. I am always excited to get one of their “fancy” drinks since they always have so many to try and they’re always delicious! Highly recommend.

Cute little spot with fun coffee drinks. I of course had to try a chai latte. It was the usual concentrate that many coffee shops have, so it was good if you’re looking for that common flavor. My husband had the blood orange espresso and he loved it. Definitely a special flavor. I suggest you be creative when trying their drinks.

The young woman running the place here is just the best ever to do it. I hope they’re getting so much money off their amazing coffee and perfect service and incredible art such a gorgeous gorgeous store. Everything is perfectly branded gorgeous and people don’t even realize that they roasted Alain do it themselves. The food is good. Everything’s a good price no wonder this place has actually five stars on Google. This is a real place and it’s for locals by locals.

Beautiful cozy cafe in Bushwick. All food was great, but the cappuccino was absolutely delicious. Visited late in the day, so could not try some of the popular items, but looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great coffee spot.

Bigger isn’t always better. This tiny coffee shop, tucked between a bodega and local apartments, delivers big flavor and cozy vibes. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches — highly recommend the Myrtle Ave bagel — and a tempting selection of pastries. Definitely worth a stop! Truly a must stop into coffee shop if you’re in Bushwick. Just note it’s tiny and seating is limited. But again so worth it.

Headrest is my favorite local shop to walk to in the morning, grab a cold brew (sometimes cortado), and relax for a bit. Dimitri and Yas are amazing! They care a lot about their coffee and the community 💚☕️

Home is where Headrest is!!! 💚 I’ve been coming here since before I moved to New York. This is my favorite shop in Bushwick for a variety of reasons. I have never had a bad drink from here. Ever. Full stop. The quality and care that is put into everything here is undeniably refreshing to see as a career barista myself. Every seasonal beverage on the menu is well thought out and provides an array of choices for all types of folx. You can tell the amount of care that goes into this space. It makes me happy to know that the community is continuing to support immigrant owned spaces, especially in challenging times as these. Thank you Headrest for being you! Everyone needs this coffee!!

Obsessed with this place! Total hidden gem—coffee is next level, the to-go sandwiches hit every time, and Yasya? Literal sunshine in human form. Good energy, good eats, good coffee! what more could you want?

Yelp
Such a fun menu and unique drinks! I got the sunrise moonrise drink with blood orange tonic and it's incredibly refreshing. I love a good creative menu, and their sandwiches look great too. Note: it's a pretty small spot with limited seating (~7 people) and no bathroom!

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by everything I had here! The Peachy matcha latte was not too sweet and had the perfect balance of fruity peach and matcha. The Jefferson Ave (salmon lox) bagel with gluten-free bagel was so delicious. I was so excited to hear they have gluten free bagels because of my newly discovered GF intolerance so finding a good GF bagel was golden!! The barista working this day was so incredibly nice and sweet! and handled the incoming crowd with all the food and drinks orders with ease. Solid spot in Bushwich!!

Yelp
For a few weeks in the dark winter months, Headrest was my religious go-to coffee spot in the mornings. No other spot makes quad-shot lattes around here the way they do. The latte is naturally incredibly strong and the hallmark of a good cafe for me is creativity with seasonal lattes and they have many to choose from. Strawberries with espresso, amazing. Peanut butter lattes, fantastic. Caramel that still allows for the espresso flavor to come through, wonderful. A good place to get a gift card and present to a friend if you want to gift good coffee. The aesthetic inside is also what I want my personal living room to look like. (And you can bring part of it home by purchasing their posters or mugs and get a free drink of any size to go with it!)

Yelp
I saw this coffee shop had the best review on google maps so I decided to check it out. I got the lovers latte which had peanut butter flavor which is always my speed. It looked great and was decently priced as well. They have a lot of latte flavors and most of them looked pretty good

Yelp
A really great little coffee shop. I love using it as a place to meet up with friends and chat not a lot of room for Laptop work but still a really great place to read a book or chat with friends. They always put a lot of heart and quality into their cups.

Yelp
Great locally sourced coffee, but don't expect a warm interaction. The baristas tend to be cold and defensive. I've had a few interactions that felt unnecessarily rude.Wish the vibe matched the quality of the drinks.

Yelp
The iced coffee was absolutely amazing--perfectly brewed, smooth, and refreshingly bold!
