HEADREST COFFEE

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city! We used to go once a week when we lived in the neighborhood, and now still make the 20 minute walk every couple of weeks. I am always excited to get one of their “fancy” drinks since they always have so many to try and they’re always delicious! Highly recommend.

Cute little spot with fun coffee drinks. I of course had to try a chai latte. It was the usual concentrate that many coffee shops have, so it was good if you’re looking for that common flavor. My husband had the blood orange espresso and he loved it. Definitely a special flavor. I suggest you be creative when trying their drinks.

Bigger isn’t always better. This tiny coffee shop, tucked between a bodega and local apartments, delivers big flavor and cozy vibes. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches — highly recommend the Myrtle Ave bagel — and a tempting selection of pastries. Definitely worth a stop! Truly a must stop into coffee shop if you’re in Bushwick. Just note it’s tiny and seating is limited. But again so worth it.

Itty bitty coffee shop with the most amazing vegan donuts by Duh Donuts 😋 I got a chai with soy milk (their chai is vegan) and a strawberry matcha donut. The shop is small but mighty and didn’t have a readily available bathroom, so don’t think I’d recommend working here, but the vegan food options are plentiful. Vegan donuts and muffins in the case & Lots of vegan bagel sandwich options including vegan cheese, cream cheese, tempeh bacon, and just egg. Omg & plants galore! I loved this spot and got a punch card so I will venture out again 🤍 Oh! & no donuts on Mondays, according to the barista!

My favorite coffee shop in the neighborhood. The baristas are so skilled, crafting some of the most delicious coffee I’ve ever had—rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The food is just as amazing, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a great place to relax. Definitely worth a visit! ☕️don’t skip the lemon cake 💛

I started coming here because it’s the only coffee shop that seems to open before 9am (who decided that people want coffee only after 9??) but now i just come for the service and incredible (vegan) donuts and I’m not even vegan!! I also come to get a taste of nature because it’s so nice and soothing inside with the plants that are incredibly well cared for. Last time i went people had gotten some breakfast food and it looked tasty so at some point that’ll be on my list of things to try.

Small spot with limited seats but a creative seasonal menu! Some pastries available as well. High-standard drinks I would say! 💗🍵🍑Peachy was a creamy, housemade, peach puree with matcha and plant-based milk. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are on a non-coffee moment. Super smooth and lovely balanced flavor between sweetness and bitterness. Housebaked croissant was nice, the raspberry filling was a lot!

Love this cozy little shop! Haven’t been able to stop going since I discovered it. Drinks are always amazing, food is 10/10, and baristas are super nice! Definitely check it out.
