Current front-runner for best croissant I’ve had in Bushwick/Ridgewood. Flaky but not too flaky. Buttery but not too buttery. Golden but not borderline burnt. Medium-sized. This is the Goldilocks of croissants
I have been visiting Headrest regularly and appreciate their expertise in crafting quality coffee. I also enjoy their commitment to supporting local products and enjoy their sweets which are novel and like no other. Their commitment to cultivating a comfortable environment bridges the gap between the local culture and the unique perspective of the employees. There is effort in the hospitality, even amidst the disorder of the morning & lunch rushed within the shop. There is a very tattooed worker who seems shy, but in the busy world of coffee, you notice his efforts. Here’s to the success ahead!

This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city! We used to go once a week when we lived in the neighborhood, and now still make the 20 minute walk every couple of weeks. I am always excited to get one of their “fancy” drinks since they always have so many to try and they’re always delicious! Highly recommend.

Cute little spot with fun coffee drinks. I of course had to try a chai latte. It was the usual concentrate that many coffee shops have, so it was good if you’re looking for that common flavor. My husband had the blood orange espresso and he loved it. Definitely a special flavor. I suggest you be creative when trying their drinks.

I would give it another star if I could! I've enjoyed and savored every drink i've gotten from here + service is great. The speciality drinks & matcha are well priced!
The inside is small but they make the best use of their space. Wifi & outlets available.
my favorites: peachy (the matcha here is so worth it!), cha cha (strawb matcha), the apple crisp (very unique & taste like a refreshing apple pie)

lovely space with lots of plants, sunlight, and a few comfortable spots to sit inside and 2 tables outside during summer. the Honey’s croissant was delicious, and the barista made an excellent cortado ($14 total, not bad!)
if you have a cortado to stay, it’s served with sparkling water which feels luxurious!

The young woman running the place here is just the best ever to do it. I hope they’re getting so much money off their amazing coffee and perfect service and incredible art such a gorgeous gorgeous store. Everything is perfectly branded gorgeous and people don’t even realize that they roasted Alain do it themselves. The food is good. Everything’s a good price no wonder this place has actually five stars on Google. This is a real place and it’s for locals by locals.

Bigger isn’t always better. This tiny coffee shop, tucked between a bodega and local apartments, delivers big flavor and cozy vibes. They offer a variety of breakfast sandwiches — highly recommend the Myrtle Ave bagel — and a tempting selection of pastries. Definitely worth a stop!
Truly a must stop into coffee shop if you’re in Bushwick.
Just note it’s tiny and seating is limited. But again so worth it.

Beautiful cozy cafe in Bushwick. All food was great, but the cappuccino was absolutely delicious. Visited late in the day, so could not try some of the popular items, but looking forward to visiting again. Highly recommended if you are looking for a great coffee spot.

Yelp
Such a fun menu and unique drinks! I got the sunrise moonrise drink with blood orange tonic and it's incredibly refreshing. I love a good creative menu, and their sandwiches look great too.
Note: it's a pretty small spot with limited seating (~7 people) and no bathroom!

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by everything I had here! The Peachy matcha latte was not too sweet and had the perfect balance of fruity peach and matcha.
The Jefferson Ave (salmon lox) bagel with gluten-free bagel was so delicious. I was so excited to hear they have gluten free bagels because of my newly discovered GF intolerance so finding a good GF bagel was golden!!
The barista working this day was so incredibly nice and sweet! and handled the incoming crowd with all the food and drinks orders with ease.
Solid spot in Bushwich!!

Yelp
For a few weeks in the dark winter months, Headrest was my religious go-to coffee spot in the mornings. No other spot makes quad-shot lattes around here the way they do. The latte is naturally incredibly strong and the hallmark of a good cafe for me is creativity with seasonal lattes and they have many to choose from. Strawberries with espresso, amazing. Peanut butter lattes, fantastic. Caramel that still allows for the espresso flavor to come through, wonderful.
A good place to get a gift card and present to a friend if you want to gift good coffee. The aesthetic inside is also what I want my personal living room to look like. (And you can bring part of it home by purchasing their posters or mugs and get a free drink of any size to go with it!)

Yelp
I saw this coffee shop had the best review on google maps so I decided to check it out.
I got the lovers latte which had peanut butter flavor which is always my speed. It looked great and was decently priced as well. They have a lot of latte flavors and most of them looked pretty good

Yelp
A really great little coffee shop. I love using it as a place to meet up with friends and chat not a lot of room for Laptop work but still a really great place to read a book or chat with friends. They always put a lot of heart and quality into their cups.

Yelp
Great locally sourced coffee, but don't expect a warm interaction. The baristas tend to be cold and defensive. I've had a few interactions that felt unnecessarily rude.Wish the vibe matched the quality of the drinks.
