"It might seem tucked away on The Headrow, but this awesome bar/restaurant/roof terrace/events venue is an epic addition to Leeds. With all the Belgrave Music Hall vibes plus a bit of added swagger, Headrow House is a total hot spot. In particular, check out the arts and music events calendar - it's always packed full of stuff you shouldn't miss." - DS.Emotion

Headrow House is a nice venue for Novel Notions, a community book swap, held quarterly at Headrow House. It's a simple and appealing concept: drop off some of your own books that are surplus to requirements, and get a token per book; then come back a bit later and exchange your tokens for a selection of the wide range of books (fiction and non-fiction) also dropped off by Leeds' bookish community. Search through forgotten classics, nab a new release or find a new favourite you never knew you just had to read! Novel Nations happens every few months, always on a Sunday; check out Novel Notions on social media, or the Headrow House website events page.

When you walk past the front of this bar you would never believe what is inside, there were a couple of security people on the front door which is on the main road and then when you walk through you go up a few flights of stairs again extremely quiet and not knowing what to expect but you get to the top where the terrace bar is And again lovely views of the city we have plenty of seating area, perfect for a sunny day with its own terrace bar upstairs, atmosphere was brilliant

The creamiest Guinness in Leeds? I’ve spent 15 years conducting very serious research (purely in the name of science, of course), and I can confirm: Beer Hall @ Headrow pours a pint so smooth it could charm a nun. Perfectly poured, rich, and silky—this is the Guinness dreams are made of. If there’s a smoother pint in the city, I’ll eat my bar tab. Until then, I’ll take another, please… maybe on the house?"

Cracking roof top bar. Buzzy beyond belief! Lovely cocktails, excellent pricing and the promise of great music on any given night.

The atmosphere was great, but the staff seemed a bit disengaged, which impacted the experience. A little more warmth and attentiveness could really elevate the service and make the place even more inviting. We've visited twice—once on New Year's Eve and again today—and unfortunately, both times, the staff’s attitude felt indifferent, which affected the overall vibe. We didn’t order food, so we can’t speak for that aspect, but a more welcoming front-of-house experience would definitely make a difference. Hopefully, management takes this into account, as the venue itself has a lot of potential.

Good small gig venue, especially for the above average height. Excellent bar as well.

The place is alright, nice to go for a drink in the sunshine. But I need to know why it stinks SO bad! Walking in the front and going up the stairs smelt like poo! So bad! It's disgusting. But then we were on the roof having a good time until we got cold and sat on the sides so we could use the heaters (didn't work) but the smell was back again! Why does it smell so bad!?!

Do not recommend, would give negative stars if possible, staff are highly unfriendly, unhygienic, seem to not want to be there and quite frankly unpleasant to get served by. Pints were not full and were still expensive. Huge let down after I heard better reports of it from others. Again do not recommend
