We had a fantastic couple of nights at Heads of Ayr towards the end of our honeymoon. The site was spotless, with immaculate toilets and showers - even the elsan point was the cleanest we had ever used! Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and our pitch had been beautifully maintained. |We also walked the coastal path, which runs straight from the campsite to the little village of Dunure, and enjoyed the uninterrupted views of the sea and the rugged coastline. If you get chance to visit, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place to stay, nice and clean and everything we needed. We stayed in the Jura lodge where there was a hot tub which was great. Our daughter loved it too. Such a quiet and lovely location. Staff were great. Our daughter says she hopes that they liked the picture she made them 😊

Our stay at the Arran View Apartment for a few days in September was fantastic! From the moment we arrived we were happy we had chosen to stay here for a family get together. On arrival the staff in reception (and in fact all staff on sight) were welcoming and helpful. The apartment was exceptional - all rooms were spacious and very well decorated, the open plan living area was well laid out with plenty of room for everyone to sit and to dine and the kitchen was well equipped. All rooms were immaculate. To top it all there was a wonderful view over the bay (plus a lovely rolling countryside view to the other side of the apartment. Lots of great places to visit from here and good restaurants not too far away. There's a lovely long stretch of sandy beach at Ayr but, even better, you can take a walk directly from the park down to Bracken Bay! We thought it was great value for money.

We stayed at heads of Ayr October for one week, our lodge (Jura) was in a lovely peaceful spot overlooking the beautiful countryside. The lodge was clean, spacious and had everything you could need. The one thing that wasn’t great was the WiFi, it really struggled, probably because of the location. The hot tub was perfect, we’ve been to some which are either too hot or too cold and too many chemicals but this was just right! |If you are looking for a good walk, go to maidens beach, at the end of the beach there are some wooden steps which take you up into the grounds of Culzean castle which was really lovely. Lovely little quiet site for a peaceful relaxing week away. Scotland, we will be back one day! 😊

Liked: The pitches are level and fully serviced. Lovely shower and toilet facilities and a well stocked shop onsite. The camp is set in some stunning scenery and very peaceful at night. Lots of lovely places to visit along the coastal road. A good playpark for the kids as well as a good dog walk. We will use again Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Family of 3, perfect place to stop. Ayr was on the door stop, beautiful place and so much to do. The park was lovely and tidy, the staff were amazing, helpful so friendly. We stopped in a storm but it just made us feel like definitely have to go back in good weather.

Liked: The pitches seemed a good size. The toilet block/showers were very clean. The washing up area was again very clean and tidy. Lovely stroll to the beach from park though we did end up sharing the beach with the local sheep! Handy shop for all those essentials that you forget to pack. Kids play area next to our pitch was a bonus. Disliked: Nothing really though if being picky the WiFi signal was non-existent at our pitch. It was much better closer to main building, but we survived!!
