I’m visiting from TX, and Amanda Beeler popped up as the top golf pro to take lessons from. I drove all the way from sonoma for my lesson, and if i could give her 10 stars I would. I had a great time- as a brand nee golfer. She is absolutely amazing- and I completely recommend her. They also have a driving range, and a virtual driving range as well. And she also offers driving lessons. No golf clubs, no problem- she has a set for you!

Google
Excellent 9-hole course, nicest in the area. Very well cared for, greens and fairways are in beautiful shape. Really nice practice area and driving range. We used the golf boards for fun, once you get the hang of them (took us about 5 holes) they are handy for individual players and faster play. We won’t rent them again, they are a little stressful to steer and noticed our back was tight from clamping hard holding on to the steering column and pressing the thumb accelerator switch (probably just us, still fun, just not for us). Pricey, I can play 9 ocean holes at The Links at Bodega Harbor for cheaper. Won’t be a regular course at this price. No deals on Golf Now.

One of two, Alister Mackenzie's designs in Sonoma County. This course is going to be a challenge as every hole will feel like a signature hole on the 9 hole course. The majority of the holes have you hitting downhill or uphill to the fairway or greens. Be sure to bring a few extra balls as you may lose them out on the course. Some may be brought to their knees due to the difficulty, but you can enjoy a nice adult beverage (beer/wine/spirits) on the deck and talk it over with your friends. Don't forget to check out the three tiered driving range before your round to warm up or on a practice day.

Google
Hilly municipal course. Locals only tip - you can play "winter rules" here basically year around with how the course drainage is. All the plugs. Have a beer on the best golf course balcony in Norcal and chop it up with some local legends. Driving range bays all have free top tracer too!

Tom Tran

Google
Fun 9 hole course. Pretty challenging despite being short, with lots of different types of holes with interesting terrain and hazards. Greens are small and hard to hit. Pace can be slow but that’s the nature of muni golf.

Google
The course is well maintained and the staff super nice! Kudos to Jordan who gave us all the tricks of the trade. The driving range is very cool too with top golf type technology. One word of advice though: unless you’re up for a solid workout, get an electric cart. The course is hilly! Merry Christmas everybody

Google
We absolutely loved the course. It truly is hidden gem. It had the right amount of challenge. It was in beautiful shape and the staff was incredible! Thank you - would highly recommend!

Google
Nice course. But you cannot get a tee time unless you have friends or like playing with strangers, so realistically I guess I won't get to play this course again. Very frustrating, but hey what's more important than making money?

Yelp
I usually just go here to use the range. The range is three tiered with the new Toptracer system. Of course, range balls cost more now, but it's understandable. I rarely played golf here, because the course was always in poor shape and it's only 9 holes. Well, that changed about a week ago. A buddy and I were looking to get out for a quick round and he suggest Healdsburg. Sure, why not I thought. I was very surprised at the current shape/condition of the course. Very nice. I even went back for another 9 a few days later to get in some work. The course has some challenging holes. I think there are only two holes where you aren't dealing with elevation. Staff was very helpful, nice. Also something you don't see much anymore. Before they send you down to the first tee, there is a box with scorecards and pencils...but also plastic ball markers, a divot tool and tees. The round with cart was pretty reasonable and pretty quick if you go early enough. Good job HGC!

Yelp
One of the worst golf courses experiences of my life. Owner was incredibly rude yelled at female members of our group as he didn't believe women were playing his course yelled at multiple other members of our group for no reason on top of it being a very terrible course. Could not recommend this course less.

Yelp
This place is an awesome little nine-hole course in the heart of Healdsburg. It would be a bit to walk as it is up and down hill but fear not they have carts and for the adventurous they have something called a surf cart, which is a cross between a scooter and a golf cart. Beware though, even though they have you review a safety and instruction video before hand (and sign a waiver of course) it takes a bit of use to learn how to use it but by the second or third hole we had it down pretty good (no crashes and did not fall off). The premise is simple, like a skate board or snow board you use your gravity to steer the thing and make it go where you want. The staff here was very helpful with that and overall they were great with managing the flow of tee times to keep everyone spaced out well even though it was a Saturday. They were also super nice. The hills make for some interesting holes. Highly recommend this place even for a not-so professional golfer like me :)

Yelp
Only 9 holes but we played 18 using different sets of tees for the "back" nine. Great little course full of history and not full of themselves. Very relaxing round with a nice little range for warming up.

Elsa E.

Yelp
Extremely disrespectful owners and not peaceful golf course. I have been to this golf course many times and the owners brush off any issues with the problems that have been brought up with the course.

Yelp
I was the first one there in the morning and had to wait because it was still too dark. Heavy fog came in on this October 1 day but I got to enjoy walking the course. Beautiful look on hole and hole 2 to was a long one. Beware of the parking lot on the last hole!

Yelp
Worst experience in 25 yrs. of golf ! Gave them a 2nd chance a few days ago, and the staff was even worse. The boy from the clubhouse cruised by us on his way to the cart barn and was incredibly rude to our foursome. Forty five minutes later, after loading the clubs my car, I strode over to the lad still there, and told him, "You ruined the round for all four of us !" He said, "Okay." Parked close by, upon opening my door, in the side mirror I saw him flip me off. With seven other courses nearby, I'll only play where they screen applicants. Cause it's the Game of Leisure and fun, hopefully.

Yelp
We enjoyed our round very much. The staff was welcoming and the facilities were in good shape. Driving range and pitching and putting greens were in excellent shape. The golf course is hilly presenting some challenging shots (glad we got a cart). Perfect if you just want to play 9 holes

Yelp
It was my first time golfing ever, and he gave me 4 clubs and two tokens for balls and let me have the driving range and putting green for free. Thank you!!

Yelp
Beautiful spot for a nine hole course. The view of the surrounding hills is lovely. They also have an awesome 3 tiered driving range and a practice putting green. There's a small bar and patio that is surprisingly busy most days of the week. Affordable and not over crowded- it's worth the trip.

Yelp
My first time... I was Best Man at a Wedding here last weekend. Great vista and set up for a small intimate wedding (100 people, or so.) the room was a nice blend of rustic charm and nice dance floor, and clean facilities. No separate room for the bridal party to hang out was the only minus. The staff was great at assisting set up, and chair relocation. The greens looked nice, too!

Yelp
Great course, mostly par 4s and 5s I think there are only 3 par. That's awesome for a 9 hole course. Green in ok shape and slow. However there are allot of fun plays. Course gain and drops altitude like nobody's business!

Yelp
I play on a Tuesday night co-ed league here in the summer. It's a ton of fun. Some people refer to it as the goat-ranch, and ya, at times it's a little less than desirable in some areas of the course, but it really is a beautiful and fun course to play - and the staff is always working to make it even more so. The little events center is really cute too and a good place to rent out for a small party. Fees for golf are cheap! $21 with cart per person and occasionally you can find coupons as well. Nice little short course to go play after work, and the driving range is decent too.

Yelp
This is a friendly golf course with terrific views of Healdsburg and the surrounding area. It's always in OK shape, but I wouldn't suggest having any prestigious completion here. It's definitely not ready for ESPN. Look online or find a Groupon for good deals. Think twice about 18 holes and lunch. 9 holes is more than enough and whatever you do, don't be tempted to walk the course. The hills and potholes just beg to give you a twisted ankle. Give Tayman (Healdsburg Golf Course) a try. It's an experience.

Dani M.

Yelp
Such a great small golf course. Took our small children (5 & 3) good family time. Beautiful scenery. Great customer service.

Yelp
This was the first time I've ever played golf...and, to this places credit, they realized that I had little to no clue about what I was doing and acted accordingly. While the game of golf varies between pleasantly satisfying and soul-crushingly annoying...giving anything less than four stars would be horribly disingenuous.

Yelp
Ok, I'm a local and a booster, but I'm glad to live so close to a well-thought-out and maintained course. Frank and Jimmy are continually upgrading the course and greens. Lessons are more than just helpful. And the view from the deck is beautiful for post-round relaxing.

Yelp
NIce course for 9 hole course. They say you can play it twice for 18 and they change the tee boxes around. A little pricey for 9 but the course and green are kept in great shape. Wish they would provide pictures of the holes. Overheard range usually doesn't open until 12. This was my first time playing and there were a few blind shots. Hole 4, I did not know where to hit it. From the tee box I thought it was a dogleg left. Come to find out it was a pretty straight tee shot and a slight dogleg right to the hole. Didn't eat but the food deals looked good and the prices were very affordable. Next time I'll have to try it. Not many people on the course at the time which was nice because I could take my time and enjoy the round and course. FYI-Lots of elevations. Liked it but made it a little more difficult. Will be back!

Yelp
I DJ'ed a wedding here in July 2013. The view is spectacular and the food from Fig and Vine was delicious! Aaron and his staff are great people to work with!

Yelp
Cool golf course and range. I really liked the triple deck golf range! Cold cold beer, good service, and inexpensive. Very pretty views of Healdsburg as well.

Yelp
This is a nice course with tight greens. Although it's a nine hole course the play is still worth the time and money. A great bargain that I come back to often.

Yelp
We had a great tour of the shop and range by Matt. He did an awesome job explaining to us the basics about the game of golf. We really enjoyed the tips on how to properly hit a golf ball. He was super generous in allowing us to hit balls on their 3-tier driving range. The views were amazing!! If you are looking for a friendly, affordable, fun round of golf, you should definitely check out Healdsburg Golf Course!! Thank you, Internship Program Class of '18

Yelp
Best wedding Venue in Sonoma County! We had our wedding at the Tayman Park Golf Clubhouse for so many reasons and we couldn't be happier with our choice! Best Staff hands down, Lila and her team took care of every detail. Tayman Park is very affordable as far as wedding venues go. All inclusive pricing and packaging, makes planning a wedding very easy they take care of and coordinate everything rentals, food, bar, you name it. It is BEAUTIFUL and gives you a private feel, something most golf courses don't have. We picked a fall wedding, having the clubhouse gave us the rain or shine peace of mind. Fig and Vine Catering is on site and provides excellent food. The grand slam DJ service they set up for us was a hit. Our wedding was one month ago today and I am still hearing from our guests how much they loved the venue. The team at Tayman Park shows so much love you can tell it's more then a job to them, they have a knack for making your special day magical. We highly recommend Tayman Park Clubhouse for any Event. Thank you all very much, Richard and Katie

Yelp
Awesome and beautiful course, excellent staff! If you are looking to take lessons, Matt Anderson is your guy. He is so patient and really loves the game. He has such amazing attention to detail and can really help give you the tools you need to improve your game and have more fun!

Yelp
First time visiting the Healdsburg Golf Course at Tayman Park last week. I was impressed with the Tayman Park Room. Very Elks Lodge feel with a wood burning fireplace and stone siding. Our event had outside catering so I didn't experience much of the golf course staffing. Nice place for a meeting or get together though.

Yelp
I'm definitely down with this place! I love the three-story driving range. Very cool! The views are great. The club house is small but clean. Bathrooms are better than most driving ranges and that's definitely good news to me. Easy to access from downtown Healdsburg and very close to Badger Park which is a nice place to access the river and walk around.

Yelp
Great public course with extremely good customer service. It was a super fun 9-holes!
google avatar

Yelp
Great 9 hole course! Challenging, well kept and affordable. Bring some extra balls, you may loose a few. I highly recommend this course! The club has unbelievable bloody Mary's, and happy hour!

Leslie H.

Yelp
Must be nice in this economy to turn away paying customers. We did not have a tee time but when we got there only 6 cars in the parking lot, no one on the ninth hole or teeing off on the first hole as well as no one getting ready in the parking lot for a sceduled tee time and we were told its a 30 minute wait for a twosome go figure. We guess they just did not really need the business.

Dave H.

Yelp
The bartender kicked my dog out of the outside patio with the jerk saying that if we allowed your dog, the place would become a "dog park." Excuse me. It is an outside patio at a nine-hole course in Healdsburg, not Carmel or Augusta. WTF? Oh, I get it, Healdsburg wants to be Sausalito.

John H.

Yelp
I love to play 9 here and walk the course. Not PGA by any means but a nice course for the amateur. And if you walk you'll get in a great workout climbing up the hills. Great views, great staff, great prices, and they mix a wicked cocktail to enjoy after your round.
