Cute little shop, and the swinging chairs are a novel idea, but with the ropes, I wasn't sure where to put my elbows i.e. like a penguin or on the table. Cucumber and lemon-flavored water is self-service.
The burrito bowl I ordered was alright, if a little too salty for me, but the serving is quite small, and somehow mine looks smaller than the other photos on Google? The guacamole was barely there, the lime slice was the size of a pencil tip, and there was literally only a spoonful of corn. I regretted not ordering extra rice, but settled for a slice of matcha and lemon tart instead, which was interesting. I don't think that flavor pairing in the tart works for me.
The atmosphere could have been relaxing, especially when sitting on a swing people-watching while drinking a nice cup of tea, but the cooking happens in the same room as the dining area, so when the blender was being used, it drowned out the background music. And when something was being fried, the ventilation was lacking, so I could smell the oil, and later when I had left, the smell was clinging to my clothes.
Sitting by the door on the swing, there was a bottle of hand sanitizer on the corner of my table, so every time another customer wanted to use it, they had to lean over towards me to get to it which really intruded into my meal.
I love the concept of the restaurant, but the dining experience could be greatly improved.
