We had an excellent two-night stay. The hotel is located right in the heart of Arlie Beach in the middle of all the action. Walk to everything, including Boathaven Beach. The room was spotless, modern and tastefully decorated. And very comfortable! ||Dean at the front desk definitely made our stay extra. He’s a character and so hilarious! And also incredibly helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend the Heart Hotel if you’re looking for a really nice room in the middle of town.

First impression of our ‘Designer Queen Room water aspect’ room’ was “This is tiny!” There is hardly any space to store luggage and minimal surfaces to work or place valuables off the floor. No bedside tables. We had to use the ironing board as a bedside table. ||The bathroom didn’t have a toilet brush and is poorly separated from the bedroom by louvres which don’t offer any acoustic privacy. ||The water aspect rooms are above the council carpark which has noisy partygoers and garbage trucks coming and going all night. ||The photos shown of the hotel exterior on the hotel website are artistic renders and not the actual exterior. The reality is that the hotel is situated on a busy road. The hotel lists a ‘pool’ as inclusive in their facilities but the pool is the local council pool located 100m away. ||On a positive note, the reception staff were friendly and helpful. The a/c worked well and the hotel is situated on the main strip at Airlie Beach.

We needed to stop for a night in Airlie Beach for sailing the next morning, so chose the hotel for it's closeness to the marina. We didn't expect much, but were still a little disappointed to find the room was even tinier than it appeared in pictures; and that the windows were single-glazed and thus failed to stop any of the early-morning noises from the parking lot and rubbish containers being collected right underneath. Clearly, the hotel has not listened to feedback from previous customers about the noise. With room rates practically same as at nearby 4 star hotels, this place turned out to be poor value.

Looking at the reviews for this place it seems a lot of people don't understand how boutique hotels are rated.. it's a self rating system... The rooms are adequate, all the staff I spoke to or engaged with were super lovely (reception and cleaning staff). As named - the hotel is in the heart of Airlie - so if you don't like loud music until all hours, or the hustle and bustle of a busy coastal tourist town - I don't recommend. But if you're there to really soak in the sights and sounds - babe - this is the place for you! As a solo traveller - I don't need a lot of space! So this was perfect! Only complaint I had was there was no do not disturb sign in the room. But I mentioned it to reception and they sorted that out straight away 😃 I recommend booking directly through the hotel in case you need to make any changes and you're too lazy to read the fine print on the third party booking website.

had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel for one night in October. The location is perfect—right across from the beach , with a beautiful swimming pool right in front, and a lovely public beach just steps away. All the restaurants you could want are within a short walk, making everything incredibly convenient.||A special mention goes to Dean at reception! He was exceptionally helpful and friendly, providing us with great recommendations on places to visit and eat nearby. His advice really enhanced our stay, and he made us feel warmly welcomed. For anyone looking for a well-located, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel!"

One of the friendliest greetings we have had when checking in. Central location is absolutely the best, no car required, just walk everywhere. The restaurant on the main street is fantastic for all meals and they open at 6am for all the early birds. The only thing that annoyed me was that the room was compact, thus there was no table and chair in the room for me to use my laptop as I always bring it with me. So everything was done on the bed. Other than that, full marks for this establishment!

I was go smacked to walk into what I thought was going to be almost premium accommodation to be greeted by filthy carpet everywhere. Even in our room. |The smell on entering was noticeable and no double caused by the dirty carpeting in the hallway and rooms. |I have never seen anything like it in all my years of travel. |The location was great. |The staff were great especially Dean who was very helpful. |Bed was good. |It has stairs and a small lift. |It does overlook the water not that you can really see much. |Car parking is $12 for 12 hours outside in the council carpark. |

Rooms were a little smaller than anticipated but to be fair we were out most days enjoying a beautiful week of warm days, proximity to lagoon and eateries was great. Towels changed and bed made daily. If anything, maybe a more thorough periodical clean of room was due but nothing to detract from stay.|Considering live music each night the rooms were quite sound proof. Dean and staff were welcoming and friendly advice given when needed.
