Amazing sandwiches, the execution is what pushes it over the edge in to greatness. Bread so crispy and light that you won't be leaving any crusts behind. Great wine selection Too at reasonable prices. Slaw also was above average and elevated the meal.

We ordered a lot from the menu, including some tapas, and were genuinely satisfied with everything. Among all the great dishes, our favourites were definitely the burrata and the meatballs (!!!). This place is definitely a go-to spot for drinks and perfectly paired food. Highly recommend! There were plenty of tables available until around 7PM on a Friday night, but it got quite packed by around 8 PM.

Quite a charming place, great coffee, can be poured over ice to make it an ice coffee for a small charge, great tasting roast pork sandwich for $20 but fair bit of meat. Seems like the IT place to do remote work, everyone is on a Mac book. Worth a try!

The breakfasts here are just amazing, from the fresh coffee to the delicious Granola , everything is packed with flavor. ✨ It’s the perfect way to start the day

Had the porchetta roll, the verde sauce was a bit overpowering with a lime taste. Was a generous portion of meat and sauce, would come back again.

Absolutely brilliant sandwiches! Every component is amazingly prepared and the sandwich is big enough for 2 pax. The ciabatta bread is delicious enough to be eaten by it own, the pork are yum and the sauce is down right. You can smell the chimichuru when you step into the shop. The additional mustard and chantey are good pair with the sandwiches. My only complain is it would be great to include more of the pork skin haha Tart is pretty good and the flat white is not the best but good enough. Service are welcoming

Disappointed I ordered a glass of Prosecco and it came so small it was ridiculous looked like a sample. We have to ask for napkins, cutleries and napkins. Spicy nuts biggest waste of money tasted old and moist. Never again.

Wednesday evenings couldn’t get any better. A couple of rounds of Grenache and Prosecco paired perfectly with the Burrata and lemon on house-made focaccia. The seasoned nuts and tender baby broccoli were the perfect finishing touch. Smooth jazz in the background set the mood, great wine, great bites, and even better vibes. Thank you for making our in special Wednesday into a memorable night.

Yelp
I came here for the Sunday brunch routine and was happy that with it. Nope, it's not your ideal brunch place, but it served its purpose. They have slim pickings of three different rolls or granola. I tried both the bocconcini, and the tortilla roll. The tortilla roll has a Spanish omelette inside. Both were delicious. At $9 each I was taken back by the serving size, it's a full ciabatta roll that melts in your mouth, soft and fluffy on the inside, perfect. The layout is a long space, with the kitchen set in the middle. You order and pay at the counter while they bring your food to you. The seating in the front looks very European with seats at the window looking straight onto the street. There are two long communal tables and small seating arrangements as well. A lot of people were coming and in out of it, which tells me that they must doing something right.

Yelp
Good location, small but appropriate hip wine and beer menu, teeny tiny dishes to tempt the soul and most importantly a warm space to enjoy it in. Add in a dash of decent bar staff and you get yourself a great night out at Heart Attack and Vine. Firstly this place is literally a breath of fresh air on the culturally and socially confused Lygon St. When we walked in the space was crowded and buzzing with happy customers. The staff quickly sorted us a seat at the bar and explained the simple dining style. CICCHETTI - A constantly rotating, seasonal selection of Venetian-style bar food. Changing throughout the night and served with potato crisps. The wine and beer list is small but packs a punch. There's a little something for everyone. If you're confused the bar staff are well educated on the menu. A welcome relief in this part of town.

Yelp
Heartattack and Vine. Had to be worth a look if only for the name, right? Right! This cozy little eatery across from the Nova in Lygon Street doesn't have an extensive menu, but you can only eat one thing at a time as I always say so as long as they had one thing I felt like eating it was going to be OK. They actually had two things - prawn brioche and porchetta ciabatta. I opted for the pork as the lady behind the counter was in the process of chopping it up fresh from the oven when I walked in. This was served with salsa verde, a side of coleslaw, and a couple of dollops of tomato sauce and mustard. I forked some slaw onto my roll, smeared it with a generous smear of Old English mustard, and dug in. Tasty, and quite a generous serve for $15. And washed down with a pint of Hawthorne Pale Ale, a lovely pre-movie snack.

Yelp
Something has happened to Lygon Street over the past few years. When did it go from family-friendly, tourist-grabbing, so-so pizza restaurants to sexy, late-night bars for the beautiful people? I'm not complaining. I like it. Heart Attack and Vine is the latest on this list and your absolute perfect destination for a late night drink after seeing a movie at the Nova or smashing a charcuterie board over at D.O.C. The atmosphere is warm and friendly in this petite venue. Grab a seat at the bar (the bar is always the place to be) and flick through the impressive wine and cocktail list. We started with cocktails (when in Rome) choosing the simple yet powerful Negroni and the daily cocktail special. It was a delicious mix of mystery alcohol with pear and rose petals - just as pretty as it sounds. Heart Attack and Vine also has small little nibbles to indulge in, similar to the pintxos you would find over at Naked for Satan. Pretty please promise me you will pop in next time your in the area? You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
Fun place for a cuppa, mocha was great, and I loved the outdoor seating! Nice place to take a break when visiting the Melbourne Museum.

Yelp
Tasty food and fast service. Tapas style Italian food sounds like a bit of a clash of cultures but it works well in this setting. Great for social sharing. The seating is quite cosy so don't be surprised if you find other groups sitting on the same table.

Yelp
Great staff and a fresh addition to the Lygon Street scene. The tapas (cicchetti) style dishes, nice wines, fresh beer and Italian afternoon drinks set the mood and none of it disappoints!

Yelp
Simple menu that is delicious. Great wine list. Had a great little lunch here. Their signature pulled pork sandwich is awesome.
