Using the best ingredients from all over the world, a 1000 degree Stone Hearth oven, along with our family’s dough recipe, which has been passed down to us through the generations and brought over from the Old World for you to enjoy! Now you have a pizza just the way it’s intended to be. Our Passion is Pizza, just sit back and watch our Pizzaiolos do the work!"

We stopped in for dinner before a show at Shea's, they were booked but had space available at the bar. The bartender was wonderful. He was incredibly busy, but we never felt neglected. The food was outstanding, and the pilot grigio was one of the best I've had. We will definitely be back to try the baklava!

This is really a beautiful place. The pizza was just ok. Slices were nice but it was very limp when you pick it up. The sauce needs more something. I wanted more but it didn’t give me anything. Hope to try them at dinner

Made a reservation for Hearth & Press before a Sheas Performance (it is right across the street). Atmosphere was very nice, however chairs were small and somewhat uncomfortable. Pizzas were great, seasoned nicely and had good flavor. Service was kind of slow, however it was very packed when we were there. It took 15 minutes for them to bring over our first glasses of wine and when we ordered a second glass during dinner it didn’t come until we were already finished eating and had to leave. Otherwise nice restaurant.

Google
Cannot brag enough about this spot. Super cool layout and atmosphere. Damien was phenomenal. Incredibly kind, great advice and great conversation. Meatballs here absolutely blew me away! Great job guys! Will be back.

Visiting my friend in Buffalo so we went out here for dinner. The smell was unreal, so good - authentic pizza oven! It was a bit strange to wait for our table to be set up prior to sitting and then it took a long while to get some water for the table. Once seated (with a baby stroller so enough space for that), we ordered hummus for an appetizer- very good. The Guinness was pretty good as well. I just got the eggplant and tomato sauce pasta (pictured) which was good, but I think needed a bit more sauce, basil and maybe salt. My friend got a chicken salad which was really good but the best thing was the burrata (not made in-house). Overall, our server was nice, but it took a while to order, get water and get the check. The toilets are very nice and the vibes is nice. Not sure if I would come back again but none of us got the pizza so might be worth it to try that! Not really great for vegans (only pasta or edited salad). But would check it out of a bite.

I really wanted to like this place more. The atmosphere was very quaint and warm. All of the food we ordered needed more love though. The potato appetizer was still raw when it arrived, the side salad was unremarkable and the Margarita pizza needed flavor. Also ordered the baklava and it came out cold and hard to cut. We went during the dinner rush so service was a little slow.

Google
I hate to be that person, but the waiter seemed to have tried to scam us tonight. he stated he could not split checks between two tables? Does that sound reasonable? The four of us got one drink and he brought up a $80 check? We will never come back. This is insane. They tipped themselves 20% THEN ASK ME TO TIP AGAIN! PLEAASSEEEE

Google
Had a fantastic pre-theatre meal at Hearth + Press! We easily made a reservation online and were even able to be seated a little early. Our server was fantastic and got our drink order in right away. We had wings, burrata, and balloon bread hummus appetizers. The za’tar hummus was really a standout! We shared some traditional and white pizzas for our entrees and loved the cook on the dough in the wood fired oven. Overall an excellent downtown dining experience and bonus points for great proximity to the theatre district spots like Shea’s, Alleyway, 710, and Irish Classical. I’ll also note that the entrance, restaurant, and restrooms are wheelchair and mobility device accessible and the staff were accommodating!

Yelp
I had the Margherita Pizza and it was amazing, straight out of the authentic pizza oven. The place has a fun vibe and the location is right across Shea's so it's perfect for a pre or post theatre meal. The place is mostly packed, would recommend making a reservation in advance. The service is also great, would definitely go again!

Yelp
As far as pizza in Buffalo it's the most decent I've had. Good sauce. Good ingredients. Dough got a bit soggy toward the end so maybe the ovens gotta be warmer to get that nice crunch on the crust. The space is actually so nicely set next to the Main Street with steady foot traffic, giving the inside a more alive feel. Staff is friendly at the register but be sure to grab your own napkins and be prepared to be ignored if you ask for parmesan.

Yelp
Food was so-so... The hot pepper dip was great and the white four cheese pizza was delightful. The down fall was with the wings. The wings are not fried. They're either baked or microwaved. On top of the horrible order of wings... the blue cheese was horrid. It was soooo watered down that it would drip off the wing like rain to an umbrella. The service started off great but slowly declaimed as the place filled up with others. It took a while to get a refill on our drinks. The restaurant itself is cute and the restrooms were clean. It filled quickly around the dinner hour. I've been to many shows and passed by this place a lot always wanting to try it. I think, I'll be back at some point and when I do I'll stick with the pizza. I definitely won't go out of my way to come back here. All in all... very mid for what I was hoping to be an amazing experience.

Yelp
Food was great, and service was excellent. My husband and I previously ate here on a date night, and most recently brought our 13 and 7 year olds. There was no kids' menu, which was fine because 7 year old enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs and kiddie cocktail!

Yelp
Service + Recovery = Not here I called this location from my downtown hotel, and asked did they sell pizza by the slice and how much was it. The young lady on the phone without hesitation answers and says, "Yes we do and it will be 4.25 per slice". I asked specifically did they have pepperoni slices and she indicated, "Yes, it's $4.25". I said thank you, I'm right up the street and hung up. I leave my hotel immediately, (The Embassy Suites which is less than a 10 min walk away). When I enter the Hearth + Press there is one man behind the counter. I walk to the iPad to place my order to-go for the slice. He says, "we dont have anymore slices". He never spoke to me when I walked in, and I never mentioned to him I wanted to order a slice. I explained to him I just spoke to someone about the single slices of pizza, and a young woman told me they had them 10 minutes ago. He said she's in the bathroom and will be out shortly. The young lady comes out and doesn't acknowledge me, or explain why she lied on the phone. The guy behind the counter about 5 mins after that says, "are you going to order something?" I respond that I did a want a slice of pizza, now I'm trying to warm up and find somewhere else to go eat. It's freezing outside, with flurries and high winds. The lack of service recovery was absolutely atrocious. No accountability for misinformation or apologies to be found. I didn't want anything for free, I came to pay for food and leave. Pro tip: Skip this place, and try Osteria 166. Very good wood fired pizza, and I got the chicken parm to go! Most importantly the customer service was top notch.

David D.

Yelp
I don't like to criticize! A little more wine in a glass please. No way there was 5 or 6 oz. in my $10 glass! Meatball app was not a value (being kind). Burrata was disappointing. Server...still tipped 20% because we all have days when we aren't on our game. Others may not have been so kind. I hope next visit I can up the stars to at least 4!

Finn R.

Yelp
Food was great! We ordered the white 4-cheese pizza and chicken + mushroom penne. Both were well made. Our server was very nice, and we appreciate having been fit in without a reservation and on a night before Shea's. Lovely restaurant, it feels nice without being intimidating.

Yelp
The food here is ridiculously good. We get the four cheese honey pizza every time we go, and we are OBSESSED. The service is great and the ambiance too as it's right across from the Sheas Theatre!

Yelp
Location - 5: Great spot to go to before/after Shea's or Town Ball Room. It's an easy couple minute walk from both. Service - 3: Took awhile for the server to come and drinks, which were just soda, took about 20 minutes to arrive. One of the drinks was forgotten about, oh well. Check backs were sparing. Didn't love that she cleared plates without asking if the kids were done. It was a Saturday evening, after a concert at the Town Ball Room and it looked like there were only two servers, so the mediocre service was likely related to this. Food - 2.5: Very pricey for what you get. I would say that the pizzas were "glorified personal" sizes. Nothing to rave about. My friend and I ordered a 1/2 cheese, 1/2 pep for our girls, she had a four cheese pizza, and I had the Mediterranean salad with chicken added. The pizza was enjoyed, my friend loved the honey drizzle on her's. I liked the fresh mozz on my salad, but honestly the chicken was super dry and some pieces were actually hard. Plus the salad was over $20, which seemed outrageous for what it was. I'm still in shock that with tip, we paid $90 for two 12-inch pizzas, a salad, and 2 sodas! I really wanted to love this place, because I mean pizza and awesome location, but I feel like there were quite a few misses across the board. I think I saw incredible-looking ice cream sandwiches on their social media account, so perhaps I will be back to share a pizza and get an ice cream sammy before/after I come back to Main St.

Yelp
This hidden gem has quickly turned into my go to place for lunch in downtown Buffalo. Their pizza has a thin airy crust and the ratio of cheese and sauce is perfect. They cook their pizza in wood burning stove which adds to the flavor.

Tyler B.

Yelp
Easy 5/5 stars. Best service, meatballs, salads, and then the pizza is made to perfect. We took our kids here and they couldn't stop eating the noodles and pepperoni pizza. Not to mention the massive cookie in the oven! The vibes were immaculate with the music choice. This is now a must go when we are in town.

D Z.

Yelp
We were seated according to our reservation which was perfect. The service was a little slow but our server was very cordial. Our salads were very fresh and tasty but I have to say the pizzas were a bit dry/bland. It's a convenient place to go for dinner if you will be going to the theaters across the street. I would try it again but maybe order something different than pizza.

Yelp
My mom and I went to Hearth + Press before sheas last week and it was a perfect mother daughter date night spot! We ordered the humus with balloons bread and of course a white pizza which isn't pictured because it was too good to let the phone eat first! I had to scarf it down! It was so tasty and NYC thin that I swear I ate half the pizza myself! The ingredients were so fresh and the pizza tasted as if you had just picked all the veggies from the garden and cooked it on top of a bed of perfectly made dough with the most satisfying layer of melted mozzarella cheese! The humus was so delicious and perfectly tasty with the right amount of olive oil and seasoning! Topped with Kalamata olives you couldn't ask for a better humus spread! The ballon bread was breathtaking! It was so airy and perfect that it didn't even need a dip to be that amazing! I of course needed to order an aperol spritz as my pre show drink! It was the perfect amount of tartness to a hint of sweetness! It was the most refreshing drink on a nice winters day! No wonder why the Italians like I so much as choose this as the drink of choice in the warmer weather months! I definitely will be coming back here again for another pre show fix!

Yelp
Food - 3 (barely) Service - 2 Atmosphere - 4 Price - 3 We really wanted to love this place. We travel all over the world and prefer wood-fired pizza over our regular thick dough pizzas. Wood-fired lend to fresh ingredients, thin crispy crust, and so much more flavor. Typically, when the pizza is brought to the table and put down, everyone is ready to dig in and can't wait. When this pizza was placed on the table, that didn't happen. We looked at it and said, "Okay, we'll give it a try." Their margarita pizza had a decent flavor, but the sauce to cheese ratio was off. This led to floppy slices. The sausage and pepperoni had tons of flavor, but all the sauce messed up the entire pie. The flavor was really saved by the sausage and pepperoni. Without those ingredients, the disappointment would have been larger. Also, we ordered wings. I enjoyed the flavor of the Calabrian chili wings, but we asked for extra crispy, and they definitely were not. Even when you do a sauce vs. a dry rub, you can wood grill wings to crispy. The concept was great, but the execution fell short. Too bad, because we were really excited to try them. Love the building, music, and enormous windows, but hated the service. Also, this is Buffalo! The beer selection was non-existent. I never understand how that is possible when you have local breweries, Untapped, Other Half and Premier to choose from, and help guide you. If you're going to charge $20 for 12-inch pies, your service and food have to be on point. Hydraulic Hearth and Tappo Thin Man have better flavors, service, and charge less for larger pies. This place has such potential given their location directly across from Shea's. However, we will not be returning or recommending it to others.

Karen D.

Yelp
We went on the night of a concert at Shea's. We were seated fairly quickly. We ordered drinks and our dinner. Beer and pizza arrived at the table. After that we never saw a waiter for 45 minutes. I know they were busy but come on. 45 minutes? We saw a couple who had been seated but they got up and left because no one came to their table or even acknowledged them. No one came to our table to ask about our meal or if we wanted another drink. We had to ask for the check. If they wanted to turn over tables quickly, they failed. If they wanted patrons to linger, they failed. While food was good, service was so bad we won't go back or recommend.

Yelp
Love that the crust is thin and the mushrooms were delicious! The service was super quick during the lunch hour.

Yelp
We made a reservation for dinner at 7:45 and we were surprised when we walked in that we were the only people there. The food was delicious, albeit a bit pricey. The pizzas were really tasty and the crust was delicious. Our waiter said his favorite dishes were the pizza and pasta we were ordering (3 meat pasta and fungi pizza) and suggested we add salami or prosciutto to our pizza so we added salami and were glad for the recommendation. The appetizers were a bit small and pricey but everything was really tasty. The meatballs were really delicious. Our waiter was very attentive until it came time to get the check but we were in no hurry so it was fine. Then it pass

Yelp
I went here for lunch hour from work. The place is nicely decorated with lots of windows and not blindingly bright. It is very inviting and warm. Love the pizza. They cook with a wood stone fire. This place is definitely another place I am going to after work hours for drinks or dinner or both.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
We stopped here for a bite to eat before seeing a Show at the Tralf. Was hands down the best old fashioned I have ever had. My boyfriend ordered a margarita and enjoyed it. We had the special grandmas pie and it was amazing. The olives were good and the roasted veggies were good albeit mushroom heavy. Great ambiance and friendly staff. I only Wish this place was closer, we be regulars.

Yelp
What a great espresso martini! I love Hearth and Press for their delicious wood fired pizzas. The Funghi pizza with hot honey and chili oil is to die for. Tuesday nights is when Matt is behind the bar and he makes the BEST espresso martini. I like mine black but both ways are delicious and is the best I've had in Buffalo. Strongly recommend this place
google avatar

Lynda T.

Yelp
Quality has gone down, while prices have gone up. This used to be one of my favorite places to go before a show - super convenient with an Italian bistro vibe. The very thin (now almost too thin) crust pizzas, which serve only one person, start at $20 for a dried out, scant-basil Margherita, to $25 for anything with tiny bits of meat. They have watery spritzes, and $10 skillet cookies that are no longer served in skillets for dessert. The espresso machine was "broken" the last two times I was there, two months apart. The server we always seem to get is a bit scattered. Last but not least, the tables are either very high high tops or tables so low that I can't cross my legs, Very disappointing.
google avatar

Philip K.

Yelp
Incredibly expensive for a semi-gourmet pizza place. Two people recently, a couple of drinks, almost $200 with tip. The menu online is not valid, the real menu has about half of what is listed. Very limited choices, and the meals are small. Nice people there, good service, great location for Sheas, yet we will not be returning. Go to Vice around the corner for double the food at half the cost and triple the menu.

Yelp
I stopped here tonight after walking with a friend. This restaurant is on Main Street across from Alleyway Theatre, near Shea's. The service was good and the waitress was nice. She seated us at the window overlooking Main Street. (The black chair I was seated in was incredibly comfortable. It looked a bit worn out but looked way more comfortable than the other seats). We were very hungry and the food was fantastic. I had a delicious espresso martini, a glass of rosé wine, and a four cheese green pizza. I split half of the pizza with my friend. It had fontina cheese, goat cheese, fresh mozzarella, parmesan cheeses, and pesto sauce. My friend had a glass of dry red wine, a glass of rosé wine, and a za'atar white pizza. (White meaning no sauce.) This pizza had extra virgin olive oil, fontina, fresh mozzarella, kalamata olives, tomatoes, oregano, thyme, sumac, and sesame. She split her pizza with me. Her pizza, especially the spices, was so delicious. I preferred it out of the two. She preferred mine out of the two. Both were made in their stone hearth oven. The dough was absolutely delicious!!! When checking in here on Yelp, it said I could get a free French press coffee, but I'm saving it for when I'm here earlier in the day. (I didn't want any coffee so late at night.) It was my first time at this restaurant. I can't wait to return to try their meatballs, pasta, sides, and other delicious-sounding pizzas!!!
google avatar

Ailyn D.

Yelp
This restaurant is small yet so chic. The pizza was amazing. The fresh burrata was to die for! The crust was thin and crispy. Also ordered meatballs and they were spectacular. Overall this restaurant is great for any occasion but be prepared to have a full stomach!
google avatar

Christopher C.

Yelp
I've mainly been here for their lunch service, though a few times for dinner as well. Lunch is pretty basic, but it's hardly every crowded and the staff are friendly and quick. Pizzas are tasty - which is all I've had - but that's their main bag. I do think that, even though they are wood-fired and such, the individual pizzas are overpriced. But, when you're downtown, that might be expected considering whatever rents people are charging down there.
google avatar

Lex H.

Yelp
Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Service was fast and efficient. Right in the theater district if you're looking for a quick bite.

Linda C.

Yelp
Walked in and was given seats at the bar. We got to watch them cook in the brick oven and it was really cool!! Great operation, cool environment and bartender. We got the buffalo chicken , it was very good and spicy. The couple next to us got the meatballs and it smelled amazing, so next time!
google avatar

Maria B.

Yelp
I still love this place. And have only had various pizzas recently. It's so easy to pop in for a bite or call ahead for a takeout. It won't be the cheapest pizza ever, but the ingredients are fresh and you can tell. I'm usually here around lunchtime and it's never as busy as it should be. I have no idea about the dinner crowd. The prices are reasonable and the service is with a smile. What are you waiting for? 1/3/U
google avatar

Efraim S.

Yelp
Solid pizza and great vibe in a popular pre show area. The food was not amazing and the drinks are on the pricier side. Overall it's good not great
google avatar

Jenny C.

Yelp
I have been wanting to check out Hearth + Press for ever now. I've been walking past it and it looks amazing. So we finally got the opportunity! We were not expecting to have time for dinner so we did not make reservations or anything but they fit us in anyway. We ended up just having about a 20 minute wait, so that was nice. There was a drink menu in addition to the food menu. The options on the menu included appetizers, salads, one soup option and then about 10 pizza choices, 5 red sauce and 5 white pizza. We ordered a white cheese mixture pizza and the buffalo pizza. It was alright but over priced. The buffalo pizza was $20 and it was very small and the toppings really weren't that impressive. Maybe the image and thought of this place had my expectations sitting really high, and that is why I'm disappointed. But I'm glad I tried it, and once was enough.
google avatar

Leah R.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, limited but good drinks, and good pizza options. I ordered the Goat Cheese and Fruit Salad and split the covid killer pizza with someone. The salad had the makings to be good but it was drowned in so much balsamic (an entire soup bowl could have been poured out from the bottom) making it very acidic and hard to eat. The pizza was tasty, a bit spicy but tasty!
google avatar

Shauna R.

Yelp
Whether you're looking for a spot to eat before a theater show or just a night out on Main Street, you need to consider eating/drinking at hearth and press! I've visited here for dinner on two different occasions, once before a show on a busy weeknight and once with a larger party on a slow weekend night. Both visits were exceptional because of the food, drinks, and service! The wood-fired pizzas are delicious and we really liked that you could add other ingredients to the pizzas. The gnocchi specials were all amazing, I think my favorite is currently the pesto gnocchi. It was different from any other pesto I've tried! The dirty martini I ordered was the best one I've had at restaurants in town. Something about the ratio of vodka to olive juice made it literally perfect. These are just some of the reasons that you need to try hearth and press and check out the theater district!

Yelp
Had the Zaa'atar pizza. It was outstanding! Handmade in front of you, with fresh ingredients. Staff is so kind and many unique choices on the menu. Definitely coming back!

Yelp
The perfect go to place for a good pizza dinner party/date. Their cheese pizza is really good. Went there more than twice .
google avatar

Jessica W.

Yelp
I stumbled upon hearth and press while downtown. I actually planned to go to another restaurant that happened to be closed because of Covid. Luckily I pulled up Yelp and found this gem. The restaurant is super clean, tastefully decorated and service was great. I was very impressed with the fresh ingredients and menu options. The bread was uh may zing! I will be back especially when the weather improves so I can enjoy the lovely glass windows and people watch. See you there!
google avatar

Yelp
I really want to like H&P, but... le sigh. You know how when you're eating a great slice of Neopolitan pizza and you can't wait to get to that final crusty crescent? Well, this is kind of the opposite experience. The crust needs salt and depth and flavor; it tastes like cardboard. I was also sad to see that the Margherita came out with cooked, blackened basil leaves; properly, the basil should go on the pizza after baking, so it's green and fresh. Step it up, guys; downtown needs a killer thin crust pizzeria! Wine list is weak and weird; why not more Italian reds that pair well with Italian staples? Why two mid-range proseccos?

Yelp
I love pizza so I'm always trying to find new pizza places that I haven't tried before. I have an app I used to rate pizzas I try (one-bite). When looking for a new place to try I found this place on yelp and it had high scores on one-bite. I also googled wood fired pizza in Buffalo and I found a list of the top 10. Hearth + Press was on it. Tonight I went and was pleasantly surprised how modern and rustic it was inside with the flooring, lights, tables and chairs. The decor made it great. There were normal chairs and then I sat on a low leather chair you would find in an office or high end studio apartment. Really comfortable. The waitress was really nice and knowledgeable when I had a question. Service was fast. The pizza didn't take that long as well. You can watch the pizza being made by the chef and being cooked in the big wood fired oven. The pizza came out. It looked really good. I ordered a margherita pizza. Was really good. Can tell it was fresh mozzarella and other ingredients. Crust was really crispy. It didn't have that much cheese compared to other margherita pizzas I have had. It was lacking some. I also had a coke in a big oddly shaped glass which was cool. It was $14 I believe for the pizza which was a 12 inch pie. A little on the pricey side but good. With the yelp app if you check in you get a free French press coffee. I don't drink coffee but the person I was with did. It was fresh and strong. Took 5 minutes to brew. Went at 7pm and only one other table was there the entire time I was there which was odd. Was really slow for a Thursday night. Maybe it was because there were no shows or concerts going on? Only complaint is the website doesn't have a menu or prices. Also, parking is hard on Main St so I parked in the M&T Bank lot around the corner for $3.
google avatar

Elaine G.

Yelp
I've been here a few times for pizza. Their pizza is pretty good consistently. A bit on the pricier side, but that's to be expected downtown and so close to Shea's. While I like the pizza and the service is decent, there are many other places-hydraulic hearth or roost that have good pizza too. Might put this place in my rotation.
google avatar

Brittani W.

Yelp
I have mixed feelings about this place. We went after a show this weekend and it was just okay. I know this is a downtown spot, but the drinks were very expensive. My fiancé ordered an alcoholic coffee drink, it was $12 and it was barely more than a shot. He also thought it was disgusting, but after paying that much he forced it down. We did decide to get food though, and we just split a small pizza. It was actually really good. The hearth cooked the crust perfectly, and the pepperoni were small and crispy. I would try another pizza if we were to ever end up back there again. If we just head out for drinks though, I would pass.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
Have been here a few times and am a fan. Love the pizza. The tomato sauce is super sweet and delicious. I've tried all the pizzas except the meatball and the dessert one, but my favorite would be the Margarita pizza. I think they are still working out the kinks as they've been open for a few weeks. I came in on Friday and the place was swamped. It took about 10 minutes for the bartender to say hi to us after we sat at the bar. Once we were acknowledged, service was pretty prompt. The coffee they have is incredible and really strong. I would definitely suggest ordering a cup of coffee. Haven't had dessert yet, but look forward to coming here one morning for the baked goods, french press and dessert pizza.
google avatar

Erica D.

Yelp
A very good find downtown that was not crowded on a Friday night, but hopefully that changes as COVID restrictions change. We had the caprese salad and a pizza and loved everything! Would recommend having pizza here anytime. We also had rice pudding and baklava and they were both delicious. Definitely worth stopping in for great food and service.

Yelp
I was going to a show at Shea, and thought this could be a good choice before the show. The prosciutto pizza did not disappoint. It was topped with my favorite arugula, and the crust was soft and good.

Yelp
Hearth & Press is off to a great start! It was a bit hard to find because there is no conspicuous sign on the outside of building, just etching on the door. I assume that will be fixed soon! It is a perfect location for a pre-show meal! They have a bar surrounding the brick oven pizza and also some smaller tables around the bar. You order your food at the register and then bring it to your table. The menu is pretty basic - salads, baguette sandwiches, and six standard types of pizza. They also have bagels, pastries and desserts for purchase behind the counter. As far as drinks go, they have delicious freshly brewed coffee, tea, cocktails and wine (two bottles of red and two bottles of white). I ordered the Proscuitto Pizza and it was SUPER good! I loved the proscuitto, goat cheese and arugula topping. I wish they had balsamic or olive oil drizzled on top! The pizza dough was served fresh, warm and the perfect consistency. I would absolutely order this exact pizza again! I think Hearth & Press has great potential! The renovated space looks absolutely beautiful during the day and at nighttime! They did open very recently, but I would eventually like to see them expand their food menu, wine list and maybe add table service. The pizza that I ordered was SO good, They have the brick oven baked pizza crust down to an art. I would love to see additional pie options on the menu!

Yelp
Unfortunately, the food was frozen and just re-heated up before they served it. I had the gnocchi and it tasted like I was chewing on asphalt. Very disappointed

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night and it was fairly busy. Looks like we just beat the dinner rush before the goo goo dolls show. Ambiance was cool and trendy. The food was decent but nothing to write home about. We ordered a margarita pizza and a meatball pasta. I wish they wouldn't have cooked the basil on the pizza! The fresh basil is always the best part :( The meatball was pretty flavorful though!

Yelp
finally got around to checking out Osb Ciderworks last night. was never that into ciders - they usually taste too similar and are generally pretty boring - but this place does everything outside the box. infusions, crazy flavor pairings, awesome staff and GUSHERS. they also have a few good beers/wines available. after, we walked a block up the street to check out Hearth + Press and was blown away. if you like jays artisan - you'll love this place. i grabbed the buffalo pizza and a custom "grandma" pie with vodka sauce, mozzarella, romano, goat cheese, caramelized onion and roasted red pepper. WUT. they also have a full bar and GREAT coffee. if you're looking for an easy night out, highly recommend heading to main and hitting both spots. crazy how that area has evolved over that last couple years. i remember catching the subway after going to the square and seeing homeless dudes take a shit on the corner where fattey beer co. is. now it's home to some of the best spots lolol

Yelp
I'm a native New York City person and honestly good food in Buffalo is hard to find but THIS PIZZA SLAPS SO HARD! Genuinely amazing service and if they say that the staff was rude...I have no clue who you were dealing with cause I got the best quality service known to man. This pizza was so mouth watering and so freaking delicious. Genuinely love this place and highly recommend it

Yelp
Went to this place on a Wednesday night about 8 PM. Not too many tables filled because it's not a theater night. My partner and I eat out pretty much every night and decided to revisit this place after a six-month hiatus because it wasn't so great last time we were here. I ordered a $12 old-fashioned and watch the bartender make it with about a half an ounce of whiskey simple syrup a little bit of bitters and an orange non-muddled at the bottom. I'm actually an old fashion kind of person and I can say it's probably one of the worst ones I've ever had. I asked for it sweet but it was so cloyingly sweet that I asked him to do something to it to make it better and he offered to remake it and since I know that sometimes restaurant struggle I just said add more alcohol to it it's fine. My partner ordered a $14 espresso martini which was OK but not worth the price. We ordered the fruit and goat cheese salad with balsamic on the side because we had read an earlier review that they put too much dressing on their salads. It was very nice. We ordered the pepperoni pizza and added meatballs and onions and waited about 10 minutes in the oven for it to come out and crazily enough it really wasn't that hot. We noticed the pizza guy put it on his pizza board and lift it up to the top of the oven to cook the top but when we got it literally 30 seconds later it just wasn't that hot and we were both puzzled by that. We tried to eat it but nothing was really hot on it. Meatballs semi-warm, pepperoni warm but not hot and the cheese barely melted. So, I'm sure this 12 inch pizza was close to $22 after we added meatballs and onions and I looked at my partner and asked her if I was crazy and she said no. So we told the bartender that the pizza was barely warm. He offered to have another one made and I said just reheat it. He turned the pizza guy and said the ladies are not happy because the pizza is not very hot. The pizza guy looked at him and said, "that's impossible." I looked at him and said, "I'm not crazy and I'm not a liar." Funny thing is the owner was sitting at the bar at the same time two seats over from me and never said a word. They had two tables in their entire restaurant and they need to piss people off so they leave? I guess he must have all the money in the world to just burn up with not great food and even worse attitudes. By the way? Two drinks and a salad were $43 and I tipped seven dollars although not a complete 20% I thought it was fair. Again, the owner was sitting right in the corner and never said a word to us.

Yelp
We came here on Saturday night for beer and pizza and were not disappointed. We tried the meatball appetizer but were not impressed- could have been spicier. However the pizza was great- thin, crispy crust and very tasty red sauce. Staff was attentive. We were 10 minutes late due to an exhaustive search for parking. We were seated at a window where we could 'people watch' while enjoying the food and ambiance. We will return.
