"Our goal is to bring you an authentic Mediterranean experience while fusing local favorites. We use authentic ingredients such as real Extra Virgin Olive Oil, real San Marzano tomatoes imported from Sarnese, Italy, with E.U. seal of authenticity, and D.O.P., Caputo “00” flour, also imported from Italy. Using the best ingredients from all over the world, a 1000 degree Stone Hearth oven, along with our family’s dough recipe, which has been passed down to us through the generations and brought over from the Old World for you to enjoy! Now you have a pizza just the way it’s intended to be. Our Passion is Pizza, just sit back and watch our Pizzaiolos do the work!"

Visiting my friend in Buffalo so we went out here for dinner. The smell was unreal, so good - authentic pizza oven! It was a bit strange to wait for our table to be set up prior to sitting and then it took a long while to get some water for the table. Once seated (with a baby stroller so enough space for that), we ordered hummus for an appetizer- very good. The Guinness was pretty good as well. I just got the eggplant and tomato sauce pasta (pictured) which was good, but I think needed a bit more sauce, basil and maybe salt. My friend got a chicken salad which was really good but the best thing was the burrata (not made in-house). Overall, our server was nice, but it took a while to order, get water and get the check. The toilets are very nice and the vibes is nice. Not sure if I would come back again but none of us got the pizza so might be worth it to try that! Not really great for vegans (only pasta or edited salad). But would check it out of a bite.

I ordered a side salad and a pizza Margherita with additional mushrooms. The taste of both things was quite good. However, I would have liked a little bit less sauce and more cheese on the pizza instead. I‘m not a hundred percent sure if it’s my own imagination, but I didn’t really feel welcome.

We came from Atlanta and then walked 2.5 miles just to have this pizza. I had seen them on CBS mornings. They use flour from Italy which is what I use at home and doesn't bother my gluten intolerance. Worth every step!!!!!!

The lady and I went on a Saturday evening before a show at Shea's, which is literally across the street from this restaurant. It was about 7pm and I'm glad we made reservations. This place was bustling with life, but the wait without reservations would likely scare off most people. So just go online and make reservations and you'll be fine. Their menu isn't huge, but it doesn't need to be. Everything we had was really tasty. We started with the Hot Pepper Dip and we both loved it. Our only criticism was that it wasn't a huge portion, but just enough for two people. It was cheesy and spicy and fantastic. We each ordered a pizza for dinner. They are probably 10-12 inch pizzas. We had the Buffalo chicken and the Za'atar. The buff chix was cooked perfectly and had some decent heat from the Buffalo sauce. The blue cheese cumbles really sealed the deal for that pie. The Za'atar was our favorite though. A very unique pie that I've never seen anything like on a menu. It was different but very accessible if you're worried about eating sumac and sesame seeds on your pie. The only thing that kept this from being 5 stars all around was that the service was quite slow. It was very busy, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful, but we definitely sat there for a solid 10 minutes before anyone came over to talk to us. I don't need to be served immediately, but at least bring me a water and take a drink order whilst we wait. Regardless, I'll definitely be returning next time I'm going to Shea's or the Town Ballroom.

Best restaurant downtown! Perfect place for dinner anytime or before or after a show! Have been going here for years and it never disappoints! The starter salad has become a favorite of mine, and I love the goat cheese one as well! Their hummus and hot pepper dip appetizers are a must try! Our go to main dish is a 3 meat gnocchi and the four cheese hot honey pizza! The baklava is out of this world and the cast iron cookie with a cappuccino is the perfect ending to a meal here! The staff is always friendly and hardworking! Owners are also incredible, they always greet us with a smile and have created and amazing space to enjoy great food in a relaxed atmosphere! We have had several family parties here and there’s always plenty of food! Make sure you add this place to your must try list!

Hearth + Press is a must stop if you are in the Buffalo area. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal - packed with flavor. The dough is tasty with a nice crunch. The toppings are fresh. And every pizza is made with expertise. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommend Heart + Press.

We had the Buffalo chicken and Meat pizza. Both were excellent. And the meatballs (appetizer) were excellent as well. Delicious wine! Great service and easy way to pay via qrcode. Quick tip: Entrance is in the alley. If we visit Buffalo again, we will definitely eat pizza at Hearth + Press!
