I love to stay here the autumn 2024, so our next anniversary trip we book this hotel! Rooms are a bit small but cosy and very clean, also the stuff was extremely helpful. I liked a lot that there are additional free samples cause I need more shampoo for my hair)) and the best option is two kinds of breakfast, and the Japanese breakfast was extremely good, the real vibe and taste!

Stayed here for 4 nights! Hotel was clean, standard size for Japan room and in a quiet neighbourhood! Check-in was easy, staff are so nice. Great bonus that they accept luggage forwarding (sent ours from Tokyo) and helped us with luggage forwarding (to Osaka). Great location, walking distance to trains and bus stops! Had extra amenities in the main lobby.

We have been bringing visitors to Japan to Kyoto often recently. We REALLY like this hotel.||Room size compared to other business hotels - generous. There are enough rooms for two people and luggage without feeling cramped. ||Location: a short 10-minute walk to Nishiki Market or the train, but far enough away from the noise. Three convenience stores, 1 -3 minute walk away. Enough restaurants close by to satisfy most cravings. ||Price: Look for deals, but this place was reasonable even during the summer holiday season. ||The breakfast buffet is their only weakness. It had the basics we were tired of it by the 2nd day. We laughed that the price of the buffet for the four of us was the same price as a night's room stay. If we didn't have folks who had medical issues, we probably would have gone elsewhere for breakfast.||All in all - we were super impressed.

It's great and hygiene hotel to stay. Booked 2 single bed and 1 sofa bed, sofa bed bit too soft and not even at middle for adult to sleep. As for location, opposite the hotel there's 24 hour mart available. But, to visitor spots, it's bit far for walking distance, so calling cab might be good option. It's good to take train, just might need to have few transit. For hotel facilities, there's water dispensary machine, washing machine, dryer, microwave available on certain floor, which is great for keep us hydrated on our day trip to Kyoto hot spot and clothes wash/dry for next destination. Overall, it's good hotel to have short stay.

Spacious rooms in Japan standard. Very affordable price. Really convenient location in the heart of Kyoto. Nothing good or bad about their staff. They have ice and water machines and coin laundry in every floor which is a plus. Cleanness level is alright. I would recommend for budget visitors.

Located right by a 7/11, this hotel was a breath of fresh air after arriving from Tokyo. We stayed in a 2-bed room which was very spacious and clean. Virtually all toiletries are provided in addition to pajamas and disposable slippers - these amenities were exciting for being a first-time tourist in Japan. The employees at the front desk were very nice, helpful, and decently proficient in English. We’d definitely stay here again!

Very good location close to metro station. Small rooms as usual in Japan. They have 2 type of breakfast : Japanese and buffet. Buffet was horrible : no orange juice , no bakery or pastries , no yogurt , no lemon for tea. Just bread and very low quality jam. Could be improved

The staff were very unfriendly and gave incomplete information about breakfast. The coupon stated that breakfast was available until 10 AM, but when we arrived at the restaurant at 9:25AM, they refused guests and were already cleaning up with sour faces. She kept shouting last order No, what the hell??? We politely asked at the front office, but the service was also poor. A woman responded in a fast and harsh tone. This hotel is highly not recommended. Extremely rude.

Yelp
My friends and I booked the Hearton Hotel in Kyoto for the Gion Matsuri Festival, and it was a great choice. The hotel was a block away from where the parade starts, so we had a great view after rolling out of bed a few minutes earlier. The hotel is a bit out of the way but nearby a subway stop and a convenience store, as all hotels in Japan are. We enjoyed the quick walk to the Imperial Palace, and the rest of the city is easily accessible via foot. The beds were pretty firm, but we slept well regardless. Front desk staff was nice and accomodating, and there was cold green tea at the lobby most times. No free coffee, but they provided an electric kettle in the room. My friend utilized the self service laundry, which was 200 yen for the wash and 100 yen for the dry, though his clothes came out wet so I'd say you'd have to do it twice. He also paid 30 yen at reception for detergent, which was a much better deal than what he found at the convience store. We got a great price on the hotel, and I'd be happy to stay there again. Though I wouldn't mind a litte bit closer to the center as the 15 minute walk got a bit old in the 90+ degree heat!

Yelp
Clean. No microwave but fridge provided. Small bathtub and toilet. Bathroom amenities are good Air conditioning wasn't good couldn't sleep both nights. Not close to Jr rail. Had to walk to nijo starion wguch is on Jr line to get to the bamboo forest and to the inari taisha shrine. Its 35 minutes walk to gion.
