Hearton Hotel Nishiumeda

Stayed only one night at Hearton Hotel Nishi umeda and wished we could have stayed more, in my next time travell to Osaka I will definitely stay here again. Location is perfect for travellers who have luggages and travel through many cities in Japan. It's connected directly to Osaka station west exit by an alley behind KITTE building. Streets around are huge, clean and safe. Being next to Osaka station is not only convenient for moving around but tons of restaurants, local shops and shopping centers around, you can find anything you need. The room is basic and narrow as other hotel rooms in Japan. Clean, bright from a big window. Check in, lugge storage and check out process are smoothly fast. There are free amenities on the first floor, water dispenser on every single floor. Really satisfied with ourstaying here.

Extremely convenient location near all the train lines and airport limousine bus as well. Rooms are more spacious than regular business hotel rooms. The bathtub is actually long enough. I loved the pillows made of buckwheat. Although it is next to the train station, I was able to sleep soundly without train noise as I was in a room not facing the tracks. The only thing lacking is free rental of hair straighteners.

Room included all necessary amenities, good air conditioning, and reliable WiFi. Desk available for light work but not ideal for extensive laptop sessions due to makeup-style chair. Large suitcases may fit but limited walking space when opened.||**SERVICE:**|Smooth check-in/check-out process. Staff efficient and helpful throughout stay.||**BREAKFAST:**|Included breakfast buffet was decent quality but very crowded - waited 10 minutes in lobby during peak time. Food variety adequate and no items ran out despite busy period.||**MINOR ISSUES:**|Lobby has noticeable cigarette smell upon entry (though rooms are fine). Just a few minutes walk from Osaka station makes it a perfect accomodation. Easy to check in and check out, quiet rooms, vending machine on the floors where you can get your drink (Coffee, Beer, Water, Tea) anytime. From Osaka station you can take the direct train (Haruka) to Kansai International airport, so especially for short stays, it is a convenient hotel to stay in.

The location of the hotel was slightly confusing at first, but we managed to find it. The room is spacious and comfortable, with drink vending machines conveniently located just outside the rooms. The availability of coin laundry facilities is also a great advantage for guests. I would recommend bringing light luggage, as it makes moving around and doing self-laundry much easier during your stay.

We chose this hotel primarily for its strategic location right next to Osaka Station. The rooms are compact, as expected from typical Japanese hotels. The cleanliness standards are excellent. Overall, I would recommend this property.

For UK readers this is essentially a low-mid tier Travelodge. |It was clean, although tired. The rooms were compact, twins much better than double as the double beds are small with one side pretty much against the wall (obstacle course to get to WC during the night). Bath shower. No safe. No water in room but drink fountain down the hall. You can collect tea from reception for free. Nowhere for luggage but we stacked behind door so it was out the way. There is no lounge or really anywhere to sit which might not be important to some but we were travelling with family and this was only hotel where we couldn’t socialise. Better for backpackers or those looking for single night where they will be out experiencing the nightlife. I would not stay again but we should have researched better as it was not fit for our purpose.
