We went on 10/26 Sunday, super crowded. 5 people $200 admissions. Not cheap at all. The place has many activities that good for kids to play for many hours. We drove almost 1.5 hours one way so it took us a whole day activity. Nice weather for the outdoor family day, my kids are 6,11 and 13 all had fun. Many food vendors with various options. Price is carnival price. No outside food and drink allowed. No pet allowed. Advice for improvement. 1. They need more restroom in more locations. Not the portable ones! There’s only 1 restroom by the entrance/behind the food court, all other locations are portable which is nasty and long line as you could imagine! 2. Hay tractor ride wait line is super long, we didn’t go to pumpkin patch because the line was ridiculous. Apple cannon and paintball range is walkable and WAY faster than taking the tractor. 3. Wine is bad. Please sell beers. 4. Admission is too expensive IMO.

This was a super fun place! I really enjoyed the Pumpkin Festival. There was so much to do and all the staff were super friendly! Prices were very reasonable too. Highly recommend for a fun fall day!

Google
Worst place ever to pumpkin pick. They try to detain us on property. Lines were so long we tried walking back and they told us we couldn’t leave other than on the hayride. A cop came and everything and of course let us walk back to the car because they had no legal recourse to keep us there. It was 40pp and nothing could be redeemed. The pumpkin field was nearly empty and the ones left were smashed, broken or rotted. Also have disputed the charge as they were not able to provide the service and products we paid for

Google
A rest stop by the appalachian trail with restroom access, lots of local fruits/ pastries/ entertainment for kids. We came a bit early for the cows and hay ride, but hope to make it next time The grass is a bit overgrown from the railroad, but fairly walkable.

Best experience ever! No matter how many times you go, a great time with family and or friends is always guaranteed! This is my second year going and my family and I always have a blast! Hope you guys keep doing it for many generations!

Google
This was my second year visiting Heaven Hill Farm and my family and I had a great time overall. There is so much outdoor space and plenty of activities for kids and adults, which makes it a fun way to spend a few hours together. The hayride was enjoyable with little wait time, the animals were cute to see (and some you can feed), and the kebab stand was a highlight — the staff there were extremely nice, the food was delicious, and the prices were very fair. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of two things. First, the pumpkin patch was much more limited compared to last year. The options were scarce and most of the pumpkins were small. Second, while I expect carnival-style food to be pricey, we ordered two chicken finger baskets with fries and a soda and the bill came to $51. The portions were small, the chicken was skimpy, and the fries were cold, which was disappointing. My tip for anyone planning a visit: go early, as it does get crowded quickly. Also, the farm actually opens at 10 a.m., which isn’t listed on the website or on Google. Despite a couple of downsides, it’s still a family-friendly place with lots to do, and we’ll likely be back again.

Beautiful farm / bakery / general store. Super clean, well lit, and friendly. Restrooms are super clean too. Definitely come visit.

Yesterday I took a ride up to Vernon to visit the Heaven Hill Farm and Garden Center. I moved away so it had been quite a while since I'd been at this business last. It was so nice to see families with children in tow for their Easter Eggxtravaganza event. The property is just as I remembered. The shop inside has so many unique gifts, if you couldn't find a specialized gift for someone, then you did not look hard enough. Lol The staff was generous with their time and extremely friendly and welcoming. I happened to win a prize for my Easter bonnet and received a generous gift card. Next time I visit, I plan to bring my daughter and her husband and I have no doubt, we'd have another wonderful experience touring their grounds and gift shop and bakery! There is a reason this business have been around for decades and decades. It's because it is a lovely piece of New Jersey Land....it's a treasure. Visit often when in the area.. it's nestled between Northern NJ and Warwick NY! Thanks again for a wonderful afternoon. I had GRAND human interactions and experiences with many!

Yelp
We did an 8 mile hike including the Stairway to Heaven so we decided that we deserved a reward, luckily Heaven Hill Farm is right down the road from the trailhead. A very nice farm market, they have ice cream, baked goods and a nice shop. The ice cream was good and really hit the spot. A great place for a sweet treat. Especially nice that this is located just off the Appalachian Trail.
google avatar

Brianne D.

Yelp
Hiked at the trail nearby, and came here for a snack after. Parking wasn't an issue for us in the morning, but the lot was busy midday. They had a few fall activities that required fees. We walked around the market which had ice cream, baked goods, baking mixes and lots of jams/jellys. We tried their homemade sodas which were delicious. The outdoor area had more vendors, but it felt a bit chaotic.

Yelp
Came here over the weekend because I was in the area and I stumbled upon Heaven Hill Farm. I didn't have the opportunity to explore the farm in its entirety but I did get to go inside of the farmers market. I personally love a good farmers market because I love looking at the different items that you may not find at your grocery store. To me, things that you can find at a farmers market seem to have some extra love put into them. I didn't go on a full on shopping spree at the Heaven Hill farmers market, but I did purchase some of their cider donuts. If you are in the area and are craving some cider donuts, definitely stop here because they were delicious.

Yelp
This place is great!!! PROs: lots of activities that keep you entertained as you walk around, lots of food options/tents, large - but not too large (walkable), decent parking space, didn't feel packed/overcrowded, beautiful atmosphere with the mountains, enjoyed the hayride to the pumpkin patch, lots of great photo ops, enjoyed the cardinal rides (Ferris wheel was fun) CONs: expensive..., a lot of dust in the air being blown up from the ground (my contacts kept bothering me). I know there's not much they can do about that, but just wanted to point it out. It was also a windy day, so possible that it's not always that dusty. Bring cash - some stands are cash only, but many take credit cards.

Yelp
Great plants and great advice...they will teach you about whatever you need to know. ......and the ice cream is delish

Yelp
Came back for our annual fall festival. Always enjoy the pig races. Canine show was great. Always need to go on hay ride. Food is ok. Like the wine samplers sold. Beautiful day to be out ,

Yelp
We had the most amazing time here! It was a long ride so if you have a toddler who doesn't like sitting in the car then I wouldn't recommend the hike. We did enjoy all the rides, Ferris wheel in particular which was the first ride we took. There were other decent options like tricycle ride, hayride which was super fun, pumpkin picking and corn maze to name a few. The only thing which was a bit disappointing was food. It was super expensive, they were charging $12 for a lemonade which was crazy. Would definitely recommend anyone who wants to visit fall carnival but bring your own food
google avatar

Yelp
A surprising mix of both country and upscale. The food was really quite good. Fresh baked goods as well. Also had ice cream and candies. Lots to look at. Definitely worth a stop.

Yelp
We had so much fun at Heaven Hill Farm's Great Pumpkin Festival. Both adults and children will enjoy it, they even have wine tasting. I loved watching the dog, walking through the corn maze and doing all the activities. Food was good as well just a bit pricey. The best part was drinking that apple cider slushy!

Yelp
We were looking at some early fall activities and saw that Heaven Hill offered some nice options. Their website was very informative and they received constistently great online reviews over the past few years. While I was skeptical at first due to the prices (tickets are $15-22 online depending on the day of the week and about $4 more if you choose to buy on site), I saw that there were a lot of activities included so we decided to give it a try. Many places will charge base "admission" tickets which only allows you entrance...and then force you to pay al la carte for literally everything else...not this place. There were so many activities included in the general admission tickets: dog show, pig race, obstacle courses, corn maze, sports throws, sling shot, rally carts....and more. The only thing you have to pay for is the carnival-style rides and the apple cannon ($10 for 10 apples) and paintball ($7 for 75 paint balls)...both the apple cannon and paint ball activities were really fun. The short tractor ride was bumpy but fun. It takes you to and from the pumpkin picking area...the pumpkin prices were not as expensive as we expected. The pumpkin area was emptier and spacious...great for snapping pictures of the little ones without having lots of people in the photos. Parking was very organized and easy. The store had lots of goodies; sodas, fruits, veggies, frozen treats, and candy. They also have a fresh bakery section where they sell baked goods, pies and apple cider donuts. They also have an ice cream section as well...the ice cream was pretty good. They do have a hot food area where they sell chicken fingers, fries, burgers, hot dogs nd other stand-style items. I cannot comment on the prices of those items...the lines were fairly long on a Saturday afternoon and moved quite slowly...but that is to be expected on busier days. All staff we encountered, from the parking staff to the ticket window people to the ride staff to the store clerks were all great. Very helpful and friendly. One suggestion I would make is for the corn maze. We went on the first day (September 17th) but it seems like a lot of the corn maze was down...there were sections where the maze aisles weren't clear...making it difficult to choose a path. Those areas may need to be touched up...if possible.

Yelp
Come early if you want parking closer to the entrance. We came around noon and parked at the other end of the entrance and it was quite a far walk. There's a lot of activities for just the genera admission which was one of the reasons we came here. It was a very big open field but it was still very overwhelming with the crowd and the kids running around. If you bring your child you really have to look after them. It's best to come on a dry day. We came the day after it rain so it was very muddy. The corn maze was okay. It was hard to tell which one was the actual road and which one was created by people going through. Also the terrain was not very favorable for younger kids and there are steep hills and pot holes. I do like the riddle and stamp collection activity for the corn maze. One of the highlight is the dog show. Very entertaining and fun for the kids. We did wanted to see the pig race but unfortunately they didn't have it the day we went. Not sure if it was too cold but we didn't even see pigs at all. Wasn't able to get any baked good. It was just too many people. Food here is way over price for the portion they give. We did get apple cider donuts from the stand which was pretty good. Especially the freshly made ones which was warm and soft.

Yelp
I went with my boyfriend and we got there late at 2ish on a Saturday. Main admission in September online was $25 for each person I think. For 2, $50 something for the basic admission. You can see which pass works better for you and your family. It was filled. The girls bathroom was gross and it only had three stalls. And one stall was gross. The baby changing station was outside and it was gross. Bathrooms close early and bring wipes and hand sanitizer if you use the port a potties. It's more of a kids thing. Hayrides and maze with other games like ball games or anything you throw are free and included with admission. Wine tasting was $7 for 4 samples. Fair rides use card tokens to enter. It depends which ride you want to do. 8 tickets for the Ferris wheel and another we did was 6 tickets and you can reload with packages of $20 or more or just do $1 loads, but pay a $2 extra fee. Food was alright but pricey. Shish kabobs for one were $8 with bread. Pies were $17 each were good. They sell tiny apple cider containers and by the gallon(forgot the price). We also got the caramel apples with nuts. The hayride is like a shuttle bus that takes you to the pumpkin patch, apple cannons/paintball, and the main festival location. Oh yeah, I brought cash, but if you want to do the Apple cannons/paintball you have to pay with card. I think it was 14 apples for $10 and I didn't look at the paintball but both had to be with card. You pay for pumpkins by weight I believe. They also have carts and I would come early on weekends so you don't park so far away from the farm. It was hot when we went. Check the weather before you go. We overdressed, but it got cold at night. We would probably go back if we ever have kids since it was more for kids. Maybe if you don't want to spend money on food, bring your own lunch and save up if you want to spend. Just for two people, with pies apple cider, shish kabobs and 2 rides and snacks, we paid around $150-200.

Jane D.

Yelp
Per person is $20 to get in. We brought 2 adults and 4 kids. You pay to get in and the rides are front and center when you walk into the pay area, so no avoiding them. They cost tickets to ride. Of course the kids want to ride rides instead of the free ball toss and animal viewing. We bought the largest bundle of tickets $26 for $30. Seems reasonable until you see the rides are 3-6 tickets each. So we bought $78 in tickets total for everyone to get the same amount of rides and you end up w/2 unusable tickets to give away. Paintball is $10 for two 8inch long by 3in wide PVC pipe tubes full of rounds. The tractor takes you to paintball but you have to walk back through a muddy field. Your feet will get wet. Do not buy the $18 pies, I've tasted better frozen grocery stores pies. The peach one tasted like peach perfume. Strong scent and bitter fake peach taste, honestly I would have given them more stars if their pies were good. I just felt thoroughly ripped off when I tasted this absolute crap. I wouldn't verify because I have standards but my teen son says Mcds makes better pies. Zeppoles are $17. Small cotton candy $7, large $12. Small caramel apple is $8. Gem Mining is $10 a bag. Pony rides $10. Pros: It's a beautiful property. Everyone is incredibly nice. Kids have fun no matter what. Garden store collectibles are decently priced and well-presented. Boys loved the free pitching radar that shows your pitching speed. The brownies were good but the sprinkles are rock hard. Kettle corn was the best ever! BUT In the future I'll buy a ticket to Paris instead.

Yelp
This places kept popping up as I was searching for somewhere to take the kids Pumpkin picking (we try to go somewhere new each year). Let me say....I don't know if all these positive reviews are family and friends, paid for, or they come right at open but it was not my reality. And I don't know if the workers are poorly paid or terribly overworked but they all seemed miserable. No one smiled, workers would leave their stations, some even just sat/stood around, and none of the food workers had an urgency in them. They say they cap ticket sales for congestion. That's an entire lie. The place was so packed when we arrived at 1pm on Sunday you'd think it was Disney world. And they had the nerve to still be selling same day tickets (even tho online was sold out). How badly packed was it you ask? *We waited on line for an hour and twenty min to do the apple cannons. Mind you, we paid 10 extra per child. *we waited 40 min for a funnel cake, 2 lemonades, a fried Oreo and zeppolis and it cost $44 *the line for actual food took us a bit over an hour (thankfully we were smart and split the group between the 2 lines)...fries, mozzarella sticks and an empanada cost almost $28 *the hayride to the pumpkin patch was always so long we didn't even end up getting on it or getting pumpkins (the purpose of the trip) *they had games like baseball throw, football, soccer, skeeball, and a lever pull but half the items are missing the balls or majority of them. The lines were so long, even the kids didn't want to get on the rides because they were sick of standing in lines. And the corn maze.... It seemed to barely be a maze anymore with the paths being trampled over and knocked over. We passed. So after all the waiting and crazy cost for food (entrance was also $24 just admission or $32 with an add on) the "good" *apple cannons were fun *dog stunt show was adorable *lots to do if there aren't crazy lines If you stay till closer to close the place becomes bearable. Only then did the kids begin to enjoy themselves. The lines minus the rides got to about 15 min and they were able to enjoy the last hour before we left I can say with confidence, we'll never be back or recommend this place. As much space as they have, it shouldn't have felt that crowded and been under staffed.

Yelp
As a family tradition we try to go apple picking each year and this year decided to try something different for the kids and were pleasantly surprised at all the attractions that Heaven Hill Farm offers. We purchased our tickets that are about $24 per ticket for General admission which includes the hayride, corn maze, petal carts, pig racing, dog show and 35 fun filled attractions according to the site. When we arrived, we went on the hayride which takes you to a pumpkin patch that was small. We then went to the kid's attraction but were surprised that the rides were not included. And the prices for the rides were ridiculous. 8 tickets per rider for the Ferris wheel and each ticket was a dollar. Most rides were between 4-8 tickets. You might as well take the kids to an amusement park because the dollars will add up. The food they offer was great. They had carnival foods and snacks. We had the beef and chicken shish kabob, gyro, steak sandwich, pizza, and chicken tenders. Everything was good and the food prices were great compared to the rides. One thing that amazed me were the clean bathrooms. That was a plus in my book. They also had a wine vendor that made it fun for the adults. Would recommend for a day filled of fun for families but again just feel the rides should be more affordable as it added up to more than visiting an actual amusement park or fair for basic rides.

Yelp
Great selection of garden plants and supplies also awesome donuts and pies. In fall fantastic Halloween and pumpkin picking.
google avatar

Jason R.

Yelp
One of the best farms that I been to. This place had so many activites for people to do besides a typical pumpkin picking or a wagon hayride. A carnival with rides, sports activities like football, basketball? Soccer etc. The food was also good and the different options were great. Looking forward to coming back here.
google avatar

Meghann A.

Yelp
Went here to enjoy some fall activities. The cider was delicious and we had cheesesteaks which hit the spot. The hay ride was cute. I would've liked the option to go through the corn maze without entering the fair as we came later on and did not have time to go and do everything in the fair. Overall nice fall experience.

Yelp
Just went for the first time last Monday. All of the ridiculous up charges for every add on - such a pure money grab! I went with my 3 kids, 2 older kids (10/11years old) and they wanted to do the rides which are expensive (8 credits w kid just to ride the Ferris wheel!!) each credit is $4 (extra add on from the $27 ticket entry) and poorly run. One guy running the YoYo decided to take a lunch break without any back up for a bunch of disappointed kids. I feel like maybe they don't treat the workers well either to not give them proper breaks without back up .. really very poorly run overall. Was so disappointed !!! Save your money

Yelp
Go cart rides were sanitized between uses but masks and gloves were not worn while preparing food. There were a lot of people there but everything was SO spaced out that it never felt crowded. Portable bathrooms were clean and didnt smell. Had a great pumpkin selection. Two more downsides... i thought they had corn on the cob but they only had popcorn.. i saw it advertised that they had corn on the cob so thats disappointing. Also, no one on the staff knew when the cider was made since it was outsourced from Ochs Orchard. Anyone who drinks cider knows that makes a big difference! Everyone was respectful of eachothers personal space and there was so much to offer. Id come back.. maybe bring my own food but definitely id come back! Edit: one day after leaving my review, i was contacted by the man who prepared the pizza and was threatened to be sued if i didnt take it down. I guess he doesnt think he can contaminate the pizza even after he pulls it from the oven, cuts and plates them all because "he doesnt have direct contact with customers." I suppose in his personal life covid-19 goes duck duck goose and skips over him! Ha! Photo below on what he messaged me for all those curious!

Yelp
Went on a weekend 15.99$ plus 1.99$ tax per person. They were carousels ( extra charges) , hayride, corn maze, petting animals , pedal cars and pumpkin patch. It was nice, little pricey I felt. Also way too many peope at this COVID times. Apple cider donuts were good , not the best amd can be purchased at the outside farm store. My recommendations 1) dress in layers as it can get windy 2) get enough quarters to buy feed for the petting animals in case you are travelling with kids 3) pumpkin are 69c per lb. You can buy them cheaper at a grocery store. But definitely I recommend going here. It was fun. Parking is free
google avatar

Nicole A.

Yelp
Expensive, yes. If you google Facebook reviews, it was $10pp Two years ago. It was $14pp this fall. However they apparently keep adding attractions every year. I don't mind paying $ to support a local business that goes all out to entertain me. Going into it, I knew how much it was per person and took $100 for the day for our family of 3. (Think we spent $97 with admission, lunch, pumpkins). We did not do any extra rides as they were an additional cost, but we did do the hayride and had a blast. It was a fun day with family and friends and we enjoyed ourselves. We were there for four hours and could have stayed for more. We will definitely be back next year!!!

Yelp
Provided such a respite in the middle of the Stairway to Heaven portion of the Appalachian Trail. Popped in on my way back from the climb and found some energy from one of their fresh, delicious cider donuts and a good cup of joe. Grabbed a couple nectarines, also really good. Nice but limited selection of produce, cheeses and a bunch of snacks, dressings, dips, jams & honeys. Nice selection of homemade chocolates & fudge to satisfy your sweet tooth. They've got clean bathrooms inside & an ATM for convenience. Super friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stop in next time I hike that trail!

Yelp
We enjoyed the farm and entertainment. I surely miss living up in Sussex County. They have so activities and shows that I enjoyed it. Didn't make it to the corn maze but sure took a picture of the sign lol. I would definitely recommend

Yelp
Truly enjoyed my first visit here. There was everything you could possibly want for both adults and children. I came here with 4 adults and 2 children and had intended to see the pig races, horses, and enjoy the amusement rides, but we opted not to pay the $12 admission fee per person into this section. $72 extra? I'm not even sure if you had to buy tickets as well for the rides, but we had already spent tons at the winery prior plus all the goodies we were picking up here. The pies, apple cider donuts, danishes, fresh cinnamon roasted nuts and hot kettle corn are amazing here and priced much lower than other farms I have visited in years past. Our apple pie was still hot when we grabbed one for $11ish. Donuts are tender and yummy, by no means oily like Penning's (which is still my hubby's fave place to grab them). He had no issue though downing 3 of them on site. We didn't go on the hayride tour to the pumpkin patch, but they had a great selection in their pumpkin and gourd house priced at $0.59lb. I would definitely return here again, but I hope they re-think the admission fee into the area for the children as I was informed by members in my party they did not charge admission years prior. You just bought tickets for a ride or two. Oh well! We still enjoyed an hour here walking around and shopping.

Yelp
Wasted my time getting here and realizing this spot is just a flop. I thought this place was going to be really good after seeing all the photos on yelp of the delicious dounts , the farm that didn't even appear to be there. I thought there was going to be fresh baked dounts & the donuts were sitting in the case like as if it's been there for a couple of days. There were a lot of cars there but I didn't know where everyone was. Inside the store it was a complete ghost town. Such a huge disappointment.

Yelp
Chocolate covered pretzels - fudge - hot sauce!!! Great during Halloween time but really any time of year for snacks!!

Yelp
Solid place to spend the day with the kids and family. My party and I came here to mainly try out their delicious cider donuts, but we ended up walking around and seeing what else they had to offer. They have a corn maze, farmer's market and various spots in the venue for photo-ops. There's a general store that offers ice cream, homemade pies, pumpkins and all sort of Fall goodies. They also offer typical county fair food here (hot sausages & peppers, cheesesteaks, empanadas and fries.) There were a good amount of bees flying around that got me paranoid while I was trying to eat without being stung, being that there are hives in this venue. Overall, I enjoyed my first experience here at Heaven Hill. The venue is about a half hour away from the Woodbury Commons outlets so I'd recommend checking both out if you're ever in the area.

Yelp
Love it I expected it to be smaller but it actually has a lot of activities for kids, highly recommended and adults can have fun to. The pumpkin patch it is very small but other than that os great. My favorite part was the go kart area.

Yelp
Best fall season experience in the region! Friendly helpful staff, tons to do! 5 star overall experience

The Life Of C.

Yelp
My daughter is two and was literally 36inches tall ON THE LINE. Everyone denied her to get on their rides. She cried and was upset because she was so excited. We loaded money on one of their cards so she can get on all of them and ofc we loaded 50$ onto a card and we couldn't even use the card since they all denied her. We originally went for the hayride but the line was super long and took forever to get any shorter (the whole reason for going was to get pumpkins in which we didn't even get to do). The whole reason we wanted to travel all the way to jersey from Pennsylvania, was because this place had such cool things advertised. But when we got there it wasn't what was advertised at all. There was barely any room for anything. All the lines were packed. There was a dog show which I was dying to see but I am short and there was no room for me to sit and watch the show. I can't look through or over people to watch it since everyone who couldn't get seats on the bench, had to just stand there and watch. We pretty much paid for our entrance to the place to not even enjoy it. You have to pay to get in. Plus pay for rides. And pay for any other actives once you even get in. SUPER OVER PRICED. NOT WHAT THEY ADVERTISED IT TO BE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!
google avatar

Marilen R.

Yelp
The pumpkin festival here exceeded my expectations. I read some reviews saying it was more of a commercialized carnival, but my family and I stuck with the "farm activities" and had a great time. We arrived around 11am on a Sunday which was a perfect time as it was not overly crowded yet. The masses descended around 1pm. Entrance is $10 pp, 2 and under are free. Since I am a couponer, I found a coupon online on valpak for 1/2 price tickets for up to 2 tickets. Score! The fee includes most of the farm activities such as the hayride, corn maze, petting zoo, hay maze plus lots of activities for the kiddies. The carnival rides are extra, which we skipped. We started off with the hayride which takes you to the gigantic u-pick pumpkin patch. Get on this early, since by 12pm, the line was fairly long. I was really impressed. This is a bone fide pumpkin patch where you'll find pumpkins attached to the vine. (I've seen other artificial patches where the pumpkins are just placed in a field. Lame.) There were tons of pumpkins of various sizes and types. The pumpkins are extra but only $.59 lb. Roaming through the pumpkins and finding the perfect one was our favorite activity of the day. Past the carnival section is a wide open field with all the farm activities and animals. Great place for those who have young kids, who need to burn some energy. My toddler loved the hay maze, the hay obstacle course, and vortex tunnel. As for the food, you'll find the typical carnival junk food. We did find a stand that sold sandwiches with grilled chicken or pulled pork which were decent. However, what you need to do is to go into the farm market. Here, I found the BEST APPLE CIDER DONUTS and FRESH APPLE CIDER. The donuts were warm and fresh, oh so good! I bought a 1/2 gallon of apple cider for just $3.99. Outside, a cup of cider is about the same price. Overall, this is a great festival to visit with kids during the fall, plus on the ride there you'll see some nice foliage along the way. Really gets you into the spirit of the season.

Yelp
When you walk into the store inside, the smell of the Apple cider donuts in the fall is warm and sweet, so I had to try some. I don't normally like cake donuts, but these had a fluffiness similar to yeast donuts. Really tasty and reasonably priced ($1 each or $10 for 12)!

Yelp
Don't buy a $17.99 pie thinking it was made on premises, it's one they buy elsewhere and just bake off. Just in

Yelp
My friends and I had a blast here. Soooo many things to do. They have carnival rides, farm animals, pig races, pumpkin picking, the list goes on. We really enjoyed the displays. Do yourselves a favor and pay the $18 to get in. You'll be there for hours. And don't miss the the donuts!

Yelp
Bought the family here for pumpkin picking and was in awe of how large and nice the place was ! We spent most of our time in the open field and let the boys run cause you could see far and wide ! It was stroller friendly which was a plus. Wasn't a fan of the food. Very standard fair food but nothing great. We did the hay ride and that was awesome, the ride back was great like a haunted ride surprising enough for adults to enjoy and mild enough that the kids weren't in tears. The market at the end was great also, so many pumpkins, and more food and trinkets. Will absolutely return and invite more family and friends.

Yelp
I have been going here for a few years. I can spend hours just walking around. So many activities for the family to do.

Yelp
Came here with my two year old boy and was so excited to go on the carnival rides only to find out when we got there that the rides are for kids 36inches and over!! May want to put that information somewhere on your website ! You cant even sit with them if they are smaller so I was very disappointed . Hay ride and pumpkin patch was cute. The animal farm was pretty skeet hardly any animals . I'll come back when my boy is tall enough to go on the rides

Yelp
The farm was a great experience. We went October 13th and had so much fun. This is an all day event so be prepared to walk. The corn maze took approximately 40 mins to complete but well with it. There is pig racing, bee exhibit, go karts, and a pedal go kart just to name a few activities. The apple cider donuts are some of the best I've had. The prices are reasonable and the pumpkins are huge. We purchased a 34lb one. We would definitely go back and Chavez forget other farms because this farm had everything!!!

Yelp
Made it a point to write this review, I've been here several times and this year was by far the worse and my last. Every year it seems the animals are treated worse and worse. They r obviously not cared for and in major distress. We left, all I could hear is people talking about how horrible they felt for the animals and they couldn't believe what they seen, all the animals were thin, bones showing their (except for a young calf we seen) most disturbing was they were in a corner w their heads to the corner twitching in distress. So disturbing people were looking for employees to ask what was happening to all the farm animals and we couldn't find one. I'm including some pictures, If your using animals please care for them, that's the least you can do, these animals were so far beyond help it was sad

Yelp
I love taking my son here in the fall. Beautifully decorated, tons of games outside to play and just tons to do for everyone. The food is pretty good, not great or cheap but it's a cool place to grab something and sit at a table and relax after doing the corn maze, picking pumpkins or whatever. I always grab the wife a strawberry rhubarb pie freshly baked, she loves them. My son also adores their apple cider donuts. This is a very nice, clean, enjoyable place to spend some time with your family. Nicely do e

Yelp
Fun place to go with my nieces , but what disturbed me the most was the animals are not taken care of! There was no water and if there was it was very dirty , the pens were not clean so these poor animals, all of them the pigs the goats the horses , were sitting in poop. Probably don't even eat so the only food they get are the pebbles you oay 25c for...try and get help from the employees there are no one to be found. I am a vet technician and I know these animals are in distress , unhappy and uncared for!!!

Yelp
Honestly not worth the money. We had no time to go on the hat ride for the pumpkin patch, lines were crazy, it was beyond pack you could not even move. Eveything is way over priced . They said they have a limit of people but it's literally so small and tight can't even take a good family photo

Yelp
What an awesome Sunday Funday! This place has so much to offer you no matter your age. Little kids & adults can enjoy this wonderful farm. There's animals you can feed, carnival rides, tons of food, corn maze, hay ride, games ( football, basketball, baseball, soccer, sling shot ) a miniature pumpkin farm, hay maze for kids, etc. Really great tasting apple cider and apple cider doughnuts yummmmmmmmmmmm! The corn maze is giant! My feet ended up hurting because my boots weren't made for walking The only downside I noticed was that some of the game sections were broken and missing. Definitely a fun-filled day!!!

Yelp
Stopped here after a summer hike at Stairway to Heaven for ice cream and donuts, which were delicious. The farm allows hikers to park there which is pretty nice and seems like a win-win since hikers can easily enjoy the treats there after a challenging hike!

Yelp
So much fun today on our preschool field trip. I have read some other recent reviews and can definitely see how this farm can get busy and chaotic during evening and weekend times. It was a bit chaotic trying to shuffle two preschool groups through- but they did manage and did a great job. The kids loved the hayride and seeing the "spooky" stuff along the ride (although it wasn't turned on specifically for them). Would be fun to return when the carnival and the ride/spooky exhibits are open. Great farmers market for shopping, donuts are awesome, and a great Halloween decor shop. Fun outing!

Yelp
Well, what are you looking for at Heaven Hill Farm? Are you looking for some pumpkin picking? Are you looking for some Halloween costumes? Are you looking for some pastries? You're probably in the right place. But I also get what some of the other reviewers say about it being "a commercialized carnival" with "overpriced" food. There are parts of this farm that are fun and idyllic, but there's also part that verges on tacky. If you go in with managed expectations I think you'll probably have a nice time at Heaven Hill.

Yelp
Stopped by here approximately 2 weeks ago with my boyfriend because I saw reviews mentioning a petting zoo and also to get some cider donuts. Unfortunately, you had to pay something like $10 for their bracelet to be allowed into the area where the petting zoo was along with other children's activities. Sorry, but I'm not paying $10 to pet some animals (I don't even know how many and what kind of animals there were - could have been 1 goat and 2 bunnies for all I knew) and then have to spend more money to buy food to feed them. It's probably worth it if you have children but for adults, this place is really boring imo. Took a picture with their board thing in the front where you can put your head through the holes and spent a quarter on fish food to feed their fish in the murky man-made pond in the front. That's it for my activities there. The stuff in their store was really expensive too and they had a bunch of items that looked like they've been sitting in there for AGES. There was some item my boyfriend spotted that was so discolored, it looked like it was sitting in there since 1990 LOL. They have a decent sized parking lot and a lot of land, easily spotted from the road while driving. We stopped by around 11:00am on a Sunday morning and it was pretty empty. Maybe 2 other customers walking around and no fresh cider donuts being made (probably because of the time). They did have a bunch of cider donuts sitting under a clear lid thing in the store but the donuts looked like they had spent the night there.

Yelp
Visited Heaven Hill Farm in early May while hiking the Appalachian Trail across New Jersey. The AT runs just a quarter mile or less south of Heaven Hill Farm and you can see the farm from the trail while walking across the pasture. Heaven Hill Farm has gone the extra mile to cater to AT hikers. They have provided several picnic tables on the south side of their main building, as well as a city water spigot along the rail fence. We've read many thru-hiker reviews of Heaven Hill Farm on hiking forums, so we had big expectations for our visit. Our low rating is more from our mismanaged expectations than anything Heaven Hill Farm did or did not do. We had a case of the "hiker hungeries" and had spent the past hour day dreaming about some fresh fruit and perhaps some orange juice. Needless to say, we were disappointed to find no fresh fruit, one small cooler with only Coke products, one little ice cream freezer and a table with a few baked goods. Not what we had been dreaming of at all. We bought a Coke ($3) and a single scoop of lemon Italian ice ($2). While that is likely a bargain in this part of NJ, its as some of the earlier reviews stated "pricey". For non-hiker visitors, consider combining a trip to Heaven Hill Farm with a day hike on the Appalachian Trail. There's a nice trail head and parking just 100 yards south. Take a hike up Wawayanda Mountain and then follow with refreshments at Heaven Hill Farm.
