I parked here to go take a photo of the lighthouse and they told me to leave unless I was a guest even though they had plenty of parking on the side of the road not blocking anything or anyone where I had parked. I was with my grandfather who was clearly not fit to walk very far but wanted to see the lighthouse. I asked if we could just spend 10 minutes to simply take a photo and they said it was not possible, so rediculous. They will answer this post with some lame justification but it was no problem for us to park there for 10 minutes for my 80 year old grandfather to take a photo. Had they not been so rude we might have stayed there. Some people have simply lost their humanity.

This is a bucket list item for sure. The owner has found such gems with Gary and Katrina. WOW! They are amazing. This property is breathtakingly beautiful. The food is delicious. We can't wait to come back one day. Thank you for a memorable stay. We will never forget it.

Much like the other reviews, I cannot rave enough about the Heceta Lighthouse Bed & Breakfast! I had the privilege of staying here 4 years ago, and I made it a priority to come back as soon as I could. Let's put it this way; I came back specifically to this place to propose to my now fiancée, because I truly believe that this is the most magical place on earth. My one mistake was only staying here one night.||My fiancée and I stayed in the Lightkeeper's room, which is exactly as amazing as they say. The bed is incredibly comfortable, beautifully appointed and there really is nothing like falling asleep to the world's greatest night light. We soaked in the beautiful porcelain claw foot bathtub with lavender bubble bath while watching the light rotate. It was so peaceful, we were falling asleep there.||The staff were super attentive (Cecily and David) and couldn't have been nicer. The 7-course breakfast really was prepared as pure art, not to mention incredibly delicious. The word "7-course" makes you think it'll be way too much food, but it really is the perfect portion size. The Moroccan Fruit Salad was my favorite, but the Mango-Strawberry Lasse, Tomatillo Frittata, Albacore Crisp and Marionberry Crumble were to die for as well.||All in all, I can't recommend this place more! From the gorgeous property and friendly staff to the ethereal walk to the lighthouse at night and watching those light beams against the stars, how can you ask any more! Add this place to your bucket list if you're ever going to the Oregon Coast!

Absolutely amazing experience! I wish I could give it 10 stars. We have been up the coast from LA to Seattle and this was the highlight. Staying at this B&B and lighthouse was magical. The view cannot be beat and the accommodations were charming and comfortable. A must stay!!!

Historic lighthouse keepers' house made into a charming B&B. Our room was comfortable, & the ensuite bathroom was convenient (we stayed in Victoria's Room). The 7-course breakfast was as amazing as the other reviews have made it sound -- the chef clearly takes pride in their work, & it showed. We only stayed one night while on a road trip but would have loved more time to soak in the atmosphere/enjoy the B&B.

What an outstanding locale, staff, and hotel!|We were treated incredibly well during our visit. The room was clean and beautiful; it faced the ocean so we popped open the windows to hear the unmistakable sounds and scent of the sea. Gary was as outstanding as they come as our host. He was gracious, kijnd, and funny! The seven-course breakfast was professionally prepared - and to die for! You may not eat for the rest of the day. ;) There's much to do right in that area between Yachats and Florence, OR so if you're bored, that's on you. We stayed over Easter weekend and the weather (I would give it 4.5 stars!) did not disappoint. There's so much history about the property and the owners did a fantastic job sharing old maps and Lighthouse facts over the past century around the house. They even offer a history tour. You won't be disappointed booking at the Heceta Head Lighthouse B&B. It certainly was a top-notch experience!

My wife and I had a very nice stay at Heceta Lighthouse B&B. Our room was comfortable, the breakfast fine, but the best thing of all is the view from the house and being able to walk up to the lighthouse at night and see it working. The staff was very friendly, and we would stay there again.

What a wonderful, magical place to spend a couple of nights. Our host Gary and team prepared delicious 7 course breakfasts both mornings. Sitting on the front porch each night watching the wildlife and the beams from the lighthouse along the rocks is so calming. Walking up to the lighthouse after dusk with torches and watching the beams across the cliffs, trees and horizon, made this place feel magical. We were lucky to share the breakfast and meals with lovely well-travelled folk who made this experience even more special
