Stayed one night at the B&B. Gorgeous spot with amazing views. House is filled with antique furniture and such. Lots of cool info about the history of the place. Breakfast was nicely done and tasty - although at a set time and drawn out over 90 minutes. So there was lots of good about the place. But not a terribly comfortable stay. Chairs in the lounges were are all tiny, uncomfortable antiques. Bed was fine, but no electric outlet on one side of the bed. One electric outlet across the room was worn down so that my charger wouldn’t stay in the receptacle. Piddly stuff, but still annoying. And three rooms shared one bathroom - and that bathroom only had a tub and no shower, so I don’t think anyone bathed out of concern of taking up the only bathroom for too long. Overall, enjoyed my stay, but glad it was just for one night.

From the location, decor, ambiance, view, furnishings and staff, it was all top notch! This was a splurge for us as it was more money than we usually spend but it was so incredible, I highly recommend. The wine and cheese happy hour was a nice bonus and who's ever heard of a seven course breakfast?! Wow! All of the staff was great but Will was a standout. He was very welcoming and such a delight! We really enjoyed the nighttime walk to the lighthouse too!

Our family gathered here to grieve the loss of a beloved and we could not have been in a more nurturing and beautiful environment. It was as if time stood still for us and we were protected in this loving space where we could feel all the joy of having had this person in our lives and all the profound sadness of losing her. The staff's graciousness and skill enhanced the natural beauty of the environment. The staff, Cecily William, and Will, were not only extremely professional and competent, but genuinely caring and sensitive to all the guest's needs--they navigated the complex situation with true talent and compassion. The owner is most giving--one of the good people of this world. The combination of the breathtakingly beautiful setting, skilled and caring staff, incredible food, and timeless charm of the rooms and building itself provided an experience that I never wanted to end.

We stayed in the Mariner II room for an awesome view of the ocean and it included a private bath. Walking to the Lighthouse at night with the flashlight they provided was a fun adventure. The restaurants were in Yachats, about 25 minutes away. Wine and cheese social was a lot of fun and the breakfasts were amazing - 7 courses of deliciousness. Enjoyed the tour of the history of the house. Staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. We appreciated the extra touches: binoculars, blankets to use on the porch chairs, towels to dry off the chairs outside, lots of reading material, guest kitchen with refrigerator to store food…

As always, the location is amazing, me and my wife and I have been coming here for the past 7 years. Year after year, we have been a tad bit more disappointed in our experience. But the prices are continually increasing. You would think they could upgrade the beds since they are the most uncomfortable to try and sleep on, must be original. The host and cook are different every year. Really miss how it once was.

My aunt just moved to Florence and suggested this place for us to visit. We decided to celebrate my birthday with a stay. We had such a terrific time.||The place of course is in a beautiful location on the Oregon coast. The B&B is in the duplex that used to be the assistant light keepers’ house. We were in the light keepers room so had a view of the lighthouse. The place was teeming with history in books, photos and talks by the staff. A highlight was the 7 course breakfast. Many of the herbs and plants used are still grown on the grounds. We also enjoyed a wine and cheese hour, sitting on the porch listening and use of the kitchen.||We enjoyed the trail to the lighthouse and seeing it up close as well as talking to the guides to answer questions. We continued on the trail behind the lighthouse to hobbit beach (and back) which was a nice moderate hike. ||I am glad that we stayed two nights to be able to relax and explore the area.

We stayed here a couple nights ago and WOW just WOW... the views from this B&B are absolutely incredible, we loved every moment we were there. The rooms are spacious, clean and well decorated, the bed was super comfortable, we had everything we needed. The bathrooms are shared but not an issue whatsoever, we only shared with one other couple as there are more than one and you are assigned one by your room. The location could not have been better, we were able to easily walk to the actual lighthouse within minutes. They have a cute gift shop right on site where you can buy souvenirs such as shirts, mugs, glasses, jewelry etc. The wine and cheese social takes place every late afternoon where they provide a charcuterie board and both red and white wines which were delicious. The breakfast, well what can I say except it was one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in my life... amazing! Both my husband and I loved everything about this bed and breakfast and hope to be back! This stop on our epic road trip truly put the 'epic' in the road trip!

This location is outstanding with breathtaking views of the ocean and the green countryside. The building is old but well maintained. For the older couple getting up and down the stair case to access your room can be a challenge for one with mobility issues. The staff does take care to make sure you are comfortable and aware of all planned activities. One small problem is that 3 separate guest bedrooms share 1 bathroom. The seven course breakfast was unique and enjoyable as you were offered a wide range of different foods. This lighthouse experience is must for at least one time.
