One of our favorite experiences as a family in Tokyo. The Brooklyn style interiors are lovely, but it is not a real cafe. You get a drink for every 30mins sessions you pay for. Nothing fancy, just from a vending machine so don’t expect a flat white here. The place was not packed when we went so I didn't feel bad for the animals. I imagine that if there were too many people and unruly kids who aren't taught by their parents/guardians to handle the animals super gently and respectfully, I would be too stressed. The staff explained to us how to hold the hedgehog so handled the animals super gently. And since our 4 yo son was too young, we didn't let him hold the hedgehog to avoid the hedgehog being dropped. As a parent, I recommend instead buying mealworms so your child can feed it to the hedgehog, which they appreciate. But please tell them to be very careful not to poke or hurt them. I don't know how comfortable I am for the other wild animals and I truly hope they are happy. We enjoyed our time with the sleepy hungry hedgehogs. We asked for the one with the nicest disposition so that my son wouldn't be scared. The staff nicely obliged. Anyway please be nice to the animals and don't just treat them as props for an IGworthy photo.

Hedgehog were a great experience to hold and caress. Some were really active and ran on my hand for a good while. Another pooped on my hand so it was really funny. For this I would recommend a reservation since by the time we came it was packed and also a weekday. They also had different animals such as an owl

This was honestly one of the cutest things we’ve ever done! 🦔🤍 We made a reservation in advance and were warmly welcomed by the staff. They clearly explained all the rules. We were given gloves to hold them and could buy small food trays to feed the adorable hedgehogs. The staff knew so much about each little hedgehog, which made the experience even better! There was a bit of a language barrier with a few staff members, but with Google Translate everything went smoothly. It’s also nice to know that the hedgehogs get rest days, so they’re not around people all the time. While you’re there, you’re free to grab some complimentary tea or water. After our visit, I bought a keychain and we even got a free hedgehog sticker. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something cute and unique to do! 🥰

This was my second time visiting the cafe since last year and I still enjoyed being there. Very cute hedgehogs and other animals to play with while you are in Tokyo. Don’t forget to buy a cup of mealworms to feed the hedgehogs! Each guest gets a free drink per 30-minute session. The staff are always friendly! I will be back again and again.

3 stars because staff is very nice. However as an animal lover I don’t think the animals love this. The hedgehogs are literally exhausted from being held all day. All they want to do is sleep and toddlers are just handling them however they please. Not a cafe, they have a vending machine with beverages.

Workers were nice, provided rules in English. Animals were diverse (guinea pigs, hedgehog, hamsters, owls, and meerkat) but some were tired at they are nocturnal or been handled a lot already. The drinks part is a vending machine item that you can have, quantity determined by length of stay. Nothing to notable about the vending machines you can't get outside. Can easily skip, not a must visit.

The atmosphere and employees are very nice, and the animals are obviously adorable, but I felt sad for some of them. The meerkat was on a leash tied to its cage that only let it run in about a 3 foot radius. It clearly kept trying to run farther but kept getting yanked by the leash. Similarly there were two owls whose legs were each tied to their own individual tiny stands.

The hedgehogs were cute but mostly wanted to sleep, and they didn't really want to be held. Some of them were super scared and trembled all the time, and most tried to escape the whole time they were being held. They just wanted to sleep in the paper bags but there wasn't even enough for all of the ones in the pen :( At one point there were squeaking noises coming out of a bag with three in it (I think they were fighting for space) and the staff just dumped them all out when asked about it. The meerkat was pretty cute, but they are social creatures so it was a bit sad he had such a short leash. He would come into your lap if he liked you though. The staff weren't very attentive, there were multiple times I tried to ask a question and they ignored me after making eye contact. I had to go up to the counter in order to get help each time. I think compared to other animal cafes which have a friendly, family-run vibe, this one feels a lot more business-oriented and doesn't care about its animals' wellbeings as much.
