Very comfortable, quiet, spotless rooms. Very sad to see that Zeehan is practically a ghost town, except for mine workers. Food in the bistro was not great for those who don't eat meat or dairy. Heavily-battered scallops and prawns cooked from frozen were like rubber. Staff were polite and helpful.

A bit old, but the family room was big with plenty of space. Clean and comfy. Could use a little modernizing though. There is a IGA next door.

Being only place in town has its advantages for them rooms good although being worker they could have a microwave or toaster etc. No choice but to eat there. And wasn't impressed with the meals .only half hr to Queenstown to get better feed .not impressed but there's no option

This is a standard motel, room was clean, the shower hot and the chicken parm was generous and tasty.
Our visit was made more interesting by the constant coming and going of helicopters filling their buckets from the nearby reservoir before going off to fight the bush fires raging nearby.

Friendly helpful staff. The room was generous in size and generally clean.

Nice clean rooms, the bistro usually has a roast on specials board, bar is usually humming but closes earlier than a city bar so workers get a good night sleep.
