Heidi’s Cafe

Firstly I would like to say Craig is great. The location is perfect. A stay in the lakes needs two things in my opinion. 1) The weather is often terrible. The room I stayed in had a great shower and fantastic bath...the water was very warm. Just what you need after a day in the cold and wet. 2) The full English breakfast is fantastic. Thanks

Absolutely lovely, dog friendly cafe in the heart of Grasmere. Made to feel very welcome and love all the little touches for the pooches including doggy menu and towels to dry them off. Good choice of Breakfast/Brunch and Light Lunch options, we ordered some sandwiches, bowl of chips and some drinks, and they were all bang on, and good value. Definitely recommend a visit if you're with (or without) a four legged friend in Grasmere!

Another fabulous stay, room 3 on this visit which did state no view but we had the view of tweedies gardens which is better than a Brick wall in my opinion, we always enjoy our stay here and have already booked to return in August. |The staff are so lovely especially Craig we love to have a catch up with him on all our visits.|Breakfast top-notch too.|A must visit in our book.

Really friendly cafe, the lady behind the counter was super bubbly and friendly it was a lovely welcome. We really enjoyed our cheese, ham and chutney toasted sandwich and the salad and coleslaw was fab too. Will be back.

A warm welcome greeted us as soon as we walked into Heidi's cafe, the staff are very friendly and Craig took time to spoil our pug Floki with dog biscuits. The full English breakfast was delicious, as was the loose leaf tea and filter coffee. Will definitely visit again and again when we're in Grasmere. Highly recommend.

Perfect nights stay in Grasmere. Heidi's was so easy to find, incredibly central and warm and friendly. Our room opened up to a large balcony where we sat (in our coats, well it is the lakes in the Autumn!) the next morning with our cuppa. Breakfast in the cafe was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Parking is ALWAYS an issue in the lakes but we got a spot right behind Heidi's which was perfect. Very good value for money too. Thank you, we will be back.

Lovely little B&B. Rooms cosy and well-appointed, great shower. Centrally located but not noisy. Mattress was a bit soft for my liking but a minor point. Great breakfast, great pub next door for dinner. Would definitely stay again. Easy check-in.
