Nice clean small restaurant with welcoming waitresses and good cooked food. My biscuits and gravy were very good. Not the typical paste gravy. Fresh squeezed orange juice. I'll be back while I'm here at Wally's Resort.

Strawberry pancakes were awesome. The hash browns were well done. The bacon was deep-fried. Service was perfect because they listened to my requests and got everything perfect. They showed up to refill coffee without being annoyingly too present. I hoped for good things and had my expectations exceeded.

The food was delicious; everything was seasoned amazing and cooked perfectly. The flavoring of the food was great. The service is friendly; would have liked to see the waitress a little more (our water and coffee ran low a lot and no ice for water). I would recommend the food here any day! Definitely coming back to try the lunch.

Great breakfast. Great service. Portions are quite large but everything was very delicious. It has this feeling of old school American diner. Well worth a visit.

Heidi's Restaurant in Carson City is a must-visit for anyone craving a classic, comforting breakfast. This family-friendly establishment has earned a reputation for its generous portions, friendly service, and, most importantly, its outstanding food. During my recent visit, I opted for their renowned Eggs Benedict and a side of waffles, paired with a rich hot chocolate. Let me tell you, it was the perfect start to my day! The Eggs Benedict were amazing. The perfectly poached eggs sat atop a thick slice of Canadian bacon, all nestled on a toasted English muffin. The hollandaise sauce was the star of the show – creamy, tangy, and with just the right amount of lemon. It drizzled generously over the eggs, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. The waffles were equally impressive. Golden brown and fluffy, they had a delightful crispness on the outside while remaining soft and airy on the inside. A dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of syrup added the perfect touch of sweetness. And let's not forget the hot chocolate! It was the ideal companion to the hearty breakfast – warm, chocolatey, and topped with a cloud of marshmallows. Beyond the food, the service at Heidi's was exceptional. The staff was attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making me feel right at home. If you find yourself in Carson City, do yourself a favor and head to Heidi's Restaurant. Whether you're in the mood for Eggs Benedict, waffles, or any other breakfast favorite, you won't be disappointed. Just be sure to arrive hungry!

Google
Heidi’s was just incredible! Such great diner dishes. We had a skillet and a wrap and both were very large. The veggie skillet (added chorizo) was the best option. The veggies were so perfect and the dish was such a great value. Can not wait to come back!

Yelp
If you're looking for a nice simple spot for breakfast or lunch in Carson City, check this place out! Heidi's is a nice, typical family restaurant that offers a variety of foods! My friends and I went to breakfast there and enjoyed going there. The staff are nice and friendly. I've been a few times and always have a pleasant experience. Food is good, comes out hot and ready to eat! Flavours are good and food is filling! The price is great and family friendly place. I'd recommend visiting for some good, simple dinning experience!

Yelp
Heidi's is a perfect Carson City brunch stop! It's adorable, family owned, and always delicious! My family and I love coming here anytime we're passing through and our servers are always wonderful. For something sweet, I recommend the strawberry waffles. For something savory, the pan fried ham steak and eggs is fantastic!

Yelp
Every time I come here my mind is blown by the delectable food, attentive service and sweet ambiance. I don't know why I've never tried the Chilaquiles! This is probably the best Chilaquiles I've had in the reno/sparks/Carson area. The Chico's are fully coated in a lovely red sauce yet maintain a slight crispy center that is pure magic. Ask for the green sauce! In Sane. The NY Steak Oscar and eggs was delish too! Finally the traditional Benedict was superb. Excellent hollandaise sauce, too. I'm gluten free but often order the benes without the muffin 1but my daughter had it as is. Yummy!!

Yelp
I have been in there several times and the service is friendly, the food usually comes out fairly quickly. I have to admit I only eat one thing there because I love it so much. It's the chilaquiles with eggs over easy and bacon. I'll put The eggs over the chilaquiles, break up the bacon. It's very very tasty.

Yelp
A friend and I had a tasty breakfast here yesterday. The last time I ate here was many many years ago. The restaurant interior is now brighter and cheerier and there are many more menu choices. My friend had the California Omelet and I had the Market Skillet. The food was fresh and beautiful, and service was friendly and efficient. We'll be back.

Yelp
Today everything went well. There was no weight at all, the service was pretty much on point. Our waitress could smile a little, and make me feel more welcome, but sometimes it's the way it goes with some people. The food was excellent and serve promptly. I tried the café de olla, we had our delicious fresh squeeze, orange juice, and the food was excellent. I like the place, they always play good music, and you feel at home there.

Yelp
We dined in last weekend before heading into the festival nearby. We arrived at the perfect time, we beat the breakfast rush. Our server was nice, but was a tad on the awkward side. Pancakes and a ham scramble were not pictured. The lechera crepes special was divine! The chile relleno breakfast was not my favorite and cheese was not melted. I wouldn't order that again. My only complaint was the coffee. It needs more of a kick, please add some more coffee to the pot. Lastly, the restaurant was cozy, but the flies were trying to land on our food. We'll be happy to revisit next time in North Carson. I'm hoping for a 5 star hot meal.

Yelp
This Heidi's is smaller than the old location. But, it is bright and clean. Server was quick and friendly. I had the crab and shrimp bennys. Very tasty. Definitely a recommend place for brunch.

Yelp
Solid coffee shop and pancake fare and a good price. Good place to bring the kids. Coffee good, the pancakes were great. The service was quick. The place itself was a little in need of some TLC, but overall not a bad choice for breakfast.

Yelp
I came here after a stressful morning at the dmv , We ordered 2 coffees an orange Juice. A California omelet , and the strawberry crepe with Nutella Overall the service and experience was a 9/10 our server was very nice . The food was pretty good the omelet came with some side potatoes that could have a little bit more seasoning , and the omelet was really good . The crepes topped it off with a bam , they were warm and delicious.would come back again .

Yelp
Delicious food - hot coffee what more can a person want. So glad I found this hidden gem on the way to the airport! Ready to travel now on a full stomach.

Yelp
The restaurant is small but clean and nice. The food was good, not great. Bring your wallet, this place is expensive! I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy which came with two (flat hard, not puffy) biscuits, and gravy....thats it, $8.27, then one scrambled with cheddar egg, $2.07....2 strips of bacon, $3.90....coffee, $3.64....and finally 1 glass of fresh orange juice, $7.23....‍ For two people it was $47.11 for breakfast....WOW! I gave the waitress a $6 tip....so $53.11 total. This is crazy expensive

Yelp
I came here with my dad a few weeks ago and I recognized it from years ago my wife and I had stopped to eat. This is a neat little restaurant right on a corner. Parking is a little small. But there is street parking and it seems to work well. The menu has some very good choices. I chose the corned beef hash and eggs. I mean it had been quite a while since I had eaten here so I thought I'd stick with a standard breakfast choice. It was the typical breakfast with eggs and hash browns toast and coffee. The food was very good and didn't take long to get. The service is very good and the place is clean. I was especially impressed by people that thanked my dad and I for serving our country. Come to find you someone actually paid for our meal. No that's something you don't see often enough. But it was a nice surprise. I really enjoyed this establishment and will definitely be coming back when I am in the area. If you are in the Carson City area you really should stop in and get some great food!
google avatar

Yelp
Staff was very welcoming and inviting place felt a little bit crammed when there was a lot of people in there, but it was a good experience and the food was very good. I ordered the eggs Benedict and came out pretty good. Just wish the hashbrowns were a little bit more crispy.

Yelp
Great spot for breakfast in Carson City. Took a ride down here to burn off some old gas (and get much cheaper gas than Reno :-). Had a hunger and decided to check out this spot based on it's local feel and decent reviews. Good choice! Please is quaint, decent parking and built to serve. Definitely a local's place. Greeted right away and shown to a table, brought waters and hot, well-balanced coffee. Ordered the Chorizo burrito with a side of fruit. Order came up pretty quick along with a delish avocado-based salsa that had a decent kick and great flavor. The burrito was huge, took half home. Filled with egg and chorizo, great flavor combination, especially with the yummy salsa. Service is friendly and very attentive. Top that off with a great value. Definitely will hit this place again when in the area!

Yelp
A friend recommended this place and he didn't steer us wrong. We were almost immediately greeted and seated. Our beverage order was taken just as quick. Within a few minutes we had ordered our food. All the servers were very friendly. The food was very good. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and bacon. The biscuit was very good. The gravy was thick and tasty. My wife had crepes with fruit. She liked it very much. The price was very reasonable also. It is pretty small. The parking was somewhat limited. I suggest getting there early. We left around 10am and they had filled up.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way back from Lake Tahoe. Carson with is a sleepy little town. Cute. Anyway, we had the chicken fried steak and green chili omelet. Both tasted delicious when we ate them. Omelet came with sausage, cheese and lots of green chilies. They were not hot, but had good flavor. Chicken fried steak came with a biscuit and eggs. Country gravy was good too. Service was super quick and friendly. Now for the bad... unfortunately, an hour after we ate, we both felt sick and had to find a bathroom.
google avatar

Yelp
Sooooo good!!! Waitress was attentive and considerate. Went on a Friday morning and it wasn't too busy so we didn't have to wait to be seated. Recommend highly!

Yelp
Great little diner. Had the chicken fried steak. Crispy, flavorful gravy, eggs well cooked. Staff was nice and stayed open a little past closing for us.

Yelp
Yummy with efficient service! Happy to have found this place on our journey.we had pancakes & the chili relleno which was homemade.

Yelp
We tried their today's special which is reuben sandwich and also one of their omelettes. I love the reuben sandwich but the hashbrown that came with it is not good. The omelette is okay. I just wish they have decaf lattes and milk substitution.

Yelp
Heidi's never disappoints. I've tried the Tahoe location and although this location is much smaller the delicious flavor is the same. Today I ordered the French dip. The roast beef was moist and tender, the french roll soft and the dip was perfect. It literally melted in your mouth. The orange juice fresh squeezed for all us pulp lovers. Try Heidi's for breakfast or lunch, they will not disappoint!
google avatar

Yelp
Great food and service! I tried the Chicken Fried Steak and eggs and biscuits and gravy. Scratch made and fresh. Keep up the good work.

Yelp
We've lived in Carson city for over 20 years and for the first time tried Heidi's. Instant regret...FOR NOT GOING SOONER! The service was great, friendly waitress and attentive. Plenty of seating, oldies playing in the background and natural lighting. The food? Amazing! I had the chilaquiles, husband had the chicken fried steak and my daughter had pancakes, eggs and bacon from the kids menu. The chilaquiles were so flavorful! The perfect hint of spice. It almost tasted like mole sauce. I could've licked the plate clean. My husband really enjoyed his chicken fried steak and eggs & daughter devoured her pancakes oh! We also ordered a freshly squeezed orange juice, need I say more? It was fantastic! We will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
Tried this Heidi's for the very first time. I love the Heidi's at Tahoe and so couldn't help but compare the experience. It seemed to be very popular with many people seated and waiting to be seated, thought this a good omen. Used to a warm and charming interior, was startled when I walked in as seemed very stark to me, lots of big windows and SO much bright light coming in. Guess that's okay but with the white walls and pine colored booths it seemed so cold and open. Found the menu to be quite small and with limited choices. We were there for lunch. Ordered the club with fruit instead of fries and the two men had a bacon cheeseburger with fries. We did have to wait quite a while for the food but that was not an issue as it was lunchtime. I did like the manner of serving the food on oversized white square plates. The food we ordered was okay, found the overall price was high for lunch for three. I won't come back, not because of the food or service but because I enjoy a more cozy place for lunch or breakfast.

Yelp
We slipped in here for a late breakfast on the way to Virginia City, and found the place to be homey and serve well-cooked and quite tasty food. Our waitress, Kayla, was very friendly and efficient. And, booth seating was comfortable. I scarfed down two eggs fried sunnyside up, along with a large, salty ham slice and three fluffy pancakes to which I added Smucker's Sugar Free Breakfast Syrup, which the restaurant had on hand. Meanwhile, Diane enjoyed very good French Toast and a large side of Home Fries. Prices of menu items, too, were very reasonable. XXXX-1/2 overall!
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious and service was quick! Went for brunch thinking it would be busy but they got us in right away.

Yelp
Been there a few times. A Diner-type Restaurant so it's a little congested. Breakfast is the mainstay. The Staff is always very nice, and the food is great. Prices are fair. Definitely worth going to.

Mal C.

Yelp
Go for the chilaquiles :) well priced, especially considering the portions. It was a nice diner experience and the coffee kept flowing!

Yelp
Yodeler was off the hook. Sure, 3 eggs, bacon, hash browns & toast is hard to mess up. Service was awesome. Atmosphere was diner at its best & food came out FAST & done right.

Yelp
Under New ownership. Great service. Food was excellent. I love the Willy B scramble. They have such good Pancakes and love that berry syrup!

Yelp
We came here for Sunday brunch - arrived at 945 and were quickly sat in a booth. Everything about the food and dining experience was average. It wasn't amazing but it wasn't terrible. Service was great.. restaurant was somewhat small.

Yelp
Usually there is a wait on weekends. Service was a bit slow, but the food was worth it. The host answered all of our questions and was very honest

Yelp
One of our go to breakfast places in Carson City with a large menu offering from breakfast skillets, benedicts to crepes and most everything you could imagine for breakfast - just take a look at the fantabulous menu. Located on the corner of Hwy 50 (William Street) and N. Carson Street with a small parking lot. This cozy little breakfast and lunch establishment is well worth stopping in for a quick bite and great service. A few of our favorite dishes include the Emerald Bay Skillet with potatoes, mushrooms, bacon, diced avocado, feta cheese and two over medium eggs plus choice of toast or house-made biscuit which we generally lean towards the biscuits and the skillet is deLISH!! Chicken Egg White Scramble with broccoli, tomatoes, olives, feta cheese and a side of cottage cheese ~ OMTASTY goodness!! How about Four Pancakes and scrambled eggs with ham FOR THE WIN! why not try one of these Traditional Eggs Benedict or the Oscar Benedict both with potatoes and house-made sauce ~ yummilicious goodness!! Service is always friendly and food is deLISH! We recommend Heidi's for a tasty breakfasts spot.

Yelp
A Carson City staple for may years. This was my second visit in three years. It is a sold 3, the waitress was very pleasant, food was prepared well (just didn't have much flavor) presentation was nice. My wife really like her meal and we will definitely be back to give it another try. A good sign of how much people like Heidi's is there is usually a line waiting to get in.
google avatar

Dave R.

Yelp
The service was good, Meals arrived quick . . BUT........, The food quality was lacking. Menu claims i ordered the Angus beef patty and eggs with home fries. the eggs and potato's were fine but the claimed Angus beef patty wasn't what they claim it to be.... it was some kind of meat loaf product. it had a mushy texture and didn't even taste like beef at all !.. They use some kind of fillers and bad ones at that !...As a food buyer for a few different restaurants, I know what I'm talking about. Just be aware this place cuts corners with the quality of food products.
google avatar

Yelp
This was so good I forced myself to finish it. worth the overfill feeling just like a dessert for breakfast
google avatar

Yelp
Yoanna is a fantastic server. She is so pleasant. The food is amazing. If you are in Carson City you must stop by and get the best breakfast. I didn't expect the food to be so amazing. The steak is cooked exactly like I asked medium rear and the eggs were a perfect over easy. The biscuits and gravy are just right. Red potatoes are perfectly cooked. This is a great place to eat.
google avatar

Yelp
Good service, pretty good food. A nice place to stop on the way to Lake Tahoe from Reno. Down home cooking and good coffee.

Yelp
Found this great breakfast place on a hungry morning. The eggs bennie was beautifully prepared and deeeelish, served up by a terrific wait staff who was superb. I'll be back soon ... suggest you do the same.

Yelp
One of our go-to breakfast places when we visit Carson City. They have a huge selection of sweet and savory entrees to please everyone in your party. Bacon is great which is one of our top requirements! Crepes, skillets, Benedicts, and regular breakfast with meat are all great choices. We sometimes have to wait a few minutes but the servers are efficient and friendly so it goes fast.

Marie G.

Yelp
I came here from Utah to visit family saw a lot of cars out front we figure it's a good place to eat but hell no breakfast was Luke warm service was horrible waitress never return to see how our breakfast was & of course she'd by drop our check off to collect money and her tips didn't get a 2nd cup of coffee & kind pricey the server too busy gathering By coffee area & chatting in a corner with each other instead of refilling our coffee I would not recommend this place & save your money eat at home .
google avatar

Kat T.

Yelp
Great place to eat with family!!! Food is so awesome!!! Kayla made it a special for a mother/daughter brunch. Definitely coming back. I miss the one in Reno...

Yelp
12-29-21 After coming here for a long time now . I was sad to discover THEY CHANGED THE BACON! it used to be thick cut smoky and a delicious treat to eat. Now its Thin and not much flavor. Same price $5.75 for 4 now small pieces..Yikes! The Potatoes need a revamp They seemed to be a mixture of old and new so some are hard and overdone and other pieces are good. Be better if they just portioned out Potatoes Obrien and deep fried per order.

Yelp
Happy New Year! Yep Heidi's was the go to place on New Year's day, and was the gathering spot of many. 60 years in Carson, this obviously has a lot of menu items for breakfast and lunch. The adjacent Neighbor shared that the burrito was good but it didn't appear sauced up to me. Lots of scramble options, Benedict's, French Toast, Pancakes, eggs, etc. I had the Tahoe Scramble, 4 eggs with ham but it didn't look diced, more like shredded, with cheese and jalapeños added but the jalapeño were just dumped on top rather than being cooked together. The pancakes were filling but not flavorful and my friend was happy that I suggested the Tahoe and seemed pleased with his choice. Others at our table received the French toast with sausage or bacon but remarked "it was unremarkable". Maybe today was busy or short handed, but I left with a ho-hum attitude about it. Bottomless coffee in one of the tiniest coffee cups had me asking for more constantly. Maybe next time will be better?
google avatar

Yelp
I am giving this restaurant 1 star for its service. My advice is to stay away. For a moment I thought I had COVID-19 because the food had no flavor but then I tasted the overwhelming taste of butter on everything. The potatos (home fries) did not have any seasoning, onions, and bell peppers. The French toast tasted like it sat in butter over night. The Chorizo burrito tasted like water. The coffee was not even the size of my hand, please see photo of my 1 year olds hand next to the cup. Keep in mind I'm not very tall and paid $3.50 for three small cups of coffee. I had to ask each time for a refill. The egg in the burrito was disgusting and should have ordered over well eggs. My over medium eggs tasted like butter and the egg whites were raw still. We should have stayed home and made food. It would have cost less than $60 for our family of 4. I'm pretty upset knowing I spent 3 hours of my life paying for a terrible breakfast.

Yelp
It was ok my husband chorizo Burrito was good my biscuits and gravy didn't like. Not thick and very Blann
