11 Best Coffee Shops in Lisbon | Condé Nast Traveler

"Heim lives and breathes with the pulse of Lisbon. On slow afternoons, you're likely to find an army of remote workers camped out with laptops and lattés, but the mornings get so busy with brunch-goers that you might have to wait for a table. It's an adorable, light-filled cafe on a cobblestoned corner that couldn't be more quintessentially Lisbon, and it's owned by an adorable young Ukrainian couple who completely renovated the space and built most of the furniture from scratch." - Todd Plummer

We had a wonderful experience at Heim for brunch today! The service was friendly and welcoming, as well as really efficient. Laura made our visit especially enjoyable! The coffee was delicious, one of the best we’ve had in Lisbon. I had the Avocado toast and was really impressed by the variance of flavours and freshness of the bread it was served on. The coffee cream and cherry Pancakes were delicious. The menu had a lot of great options which made it hard to choose but that just means we’ll be back very soon to try some more! Thanks to all of the team at Heim! :)

Heim is a cozy, relaxed brunch spot tucked into the Santos neighborhood. Bright and welcoming, with an easy flow that makes you want to slow down and stay a while. The staff were warm and attentive, checking in without hovering and keeping things moving with ease. Everything felt relaxed but intentional. We had two flat whites made with their medium roast. I usually go for light roasts, but this one surprised me—in the best way. Smooth, balanced, and gently sweet, with milk that was perfectly textured all the way through. The almond croissant was one of the best I’ve had. Flaky, golden, and filled with a soft almond center that felt just sweet enough. Crisp on the outside, buttery all the way through, and thoughtfully made. Heim does brunch well. Great coffee, standout pastries, and a space that feels lived in but still fresh. It’s already on my list to return.

I'm a sucker for good coffee, and whenever I'm on holiday, I always try to find the best breakfast spot in town. Heim Cafe is definitely the winner! I honestly hope they’ll expand to other cities because everything here is just as it should be. First of all, the coffee is amazing (latte lovers know how hard it is to find a truly good one). The breakfast is delicious with plenty of options. The atmosphere is lovely, with great music, good books, and friendly staff. I also loved their design, thumbs up for that too. The place is always full, and that says it all. Keep up the great work! :)

Small restaurant & cafe that serves brunch all day. I ordered pancakes with coffee cream and blueberry and it was delicious and soft. Long black coffee was good as well. Waiters are kind and helpful.

The coffee pancakes were delicious! I also got the green egg scramble and it was a bit underwhelming with the flavors sadly. The service was perfect however and the food came out very fast! Great place to relax and journal on a Saturday afternoon :)

Wow, this brunch spot was a 10/10. The food was incredible — such unique options. We had the salmon boy + the Turkish eggs (sub scrambled eggs). Everything was so flavourful; we could eat here everyday. It was busy around 12:00pm but there were a couple of available tables. Service was amazing! Such incredible hospitality from the team, especially Laura :) Also highly recommend the salted caramel latte!

Heim is a super chic, cozy brunch place. The staff were super nice and friendly and welcomed us right in ☺️ Their hospitality was really amazing. For drinks, we had the double cappuccino and the strawberry matcha - the smoothest I've tasted with flavourful, freshly made strawberry puree. For food we ordered the mushroom heaven (w bacon) - which came on flaky brioche toast and packed a real flavour punch. The sweet part was the highlight of the meal for us, the Crème Brûlée Toast was out of this world and easily one of the best desserts we've had in Lisbon. It's a must-eat if you are dining here! At the end we even got stickers and postcards which was super cute. Really nice way to remember a 10/10 brunch experience☺️
