Heim Lillehammer

Friendly pub ambiance with friendly staff. We went on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and it was not noisy at all in there. There were outside tables too but it was rainy. Good food, good and fast service.

This cool bar restaurant with retro decor is a hip place to be in Lillehammer. Our group of 10 arrived at our 8pm reservation and were seated to enjoy free popcorn. After ordering lemon spritz, local beers, and white wine. The staff informed us of unfortunate situation. The chef had to be rushed to the hospital. Two employess took time to apologize for the kitchen challenge. They said that they could serve drinks at this time and recommended a few other places. We appreciate their courtesy and honesty in managing the situation. Great drinks and popcorn. Very impressed with their classy way to handle the kitchen problem. I want to come back and try the seafood soup and others are hoping for fish and chips, bangers & mash. All kids get ice cream for dessert. The menus list mains, classics, kids menu. They have an alcohol menu and a non alcohol menu. All menus are card stick or laminated and readable. All items are marked for ingredients for 21 potential allergens. 5 stars for menu allergens listings and great drinks. Free wifi.

Good food, good service at Heim. It was a bit loud but it was just because it was quite crowded. The prawn sandwich was great- really tasty and huge. The prawns were more like bay shrimp that you get in the states. The fish and chips were also quite good. Good beer selection. It was very crowded so we had to wait a bit for our food but our server was very apologetic. Service was friendly and attentive.

It is not easy to find a restaurant in Lillehammer that is open on Sunday in March :). We had a steak sandwich with peanut butter and an arctic char. Both were delicious. They also have a nice selection of beers (the menu includes beer suggestions for your meal, which works nicely).

The restaurant has been poshly decorated and gives a warm and homely feeling. The burger and truffle fries are great, and we enjoyed them with the beers. We sat at tables lined outside the restaurant and enjoyed the vibes of Lillehammer.

This one is a really cool bar! I had the Heim burger and it was really good. Before that I also got popcorn for free (never had that before in any bar). The atmosphere is really nice and the waitress was very pleasant.

Foos was good but nothing special. My entrecote was tender but a little too well done (medium- well done; asked for medium). Burgers were ok. Note that the 'adult ' burger was almost same size as the kids' burger (latter was rather large, first rather small).

Another dinner that wasn't. Block the door with "please wait to be seated" but then just make weird eye contact and never actually seat people. This is your 3rd strike folks. When you're not busy you have no excuse to act like this. Just say you'll be with them in a moment instead of the weird behavior. (It's like you forgot people are there to give you money for goods and services!)
