"Heirloom, Granville Island Fairview by Arithmetic Creative. Heirloom Vegetarian Restaurant is the well-loved product of owners, Gus Greer and Yogi Johl’s, personal transition to vegetarianism. Focused on quality of life and the provenance of ingredients, they have created a fine dining experience that is focused on a plant-based menu. Heirloom creates dishes that highlight the intricacies of terroir and seasonality on flavour. Heirloom is a gem in the city, and their best kept secret really isn’t a secret: the atmosphere and design of their heritage space is the perfect place to enjoy an Heirloom Gimlet on a Friday night or a Kale Refresher juice on a Sunday morning. What an incredible spot!! If you're looking for amazing food, this is the spot for you! We stopped by for brunch and we can't wait to go back for more. Dining room was quite beautiful with a nice fireplace. We tried the Vegan Buttermilk Pancakes and the Truffle Mushroom Benny. I am not sure what was better, the way the dishes appeared or how tasty they were... they were delicious. Filled with incredible flavor and left you yearning for your next bite. We also tried their Detox Juice and their 5 Mushroom Hot Chocolate - so good! Highly recommend Heirloom for a delicious meal - you won't be disappointed!

I had the Fraser Valley Bacon Benny and it was amazing! The vegetable croquette is tasty. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Thick cut bacon not too salty. Perfectly poached eggs - i had it medium. Creamy hollandaise sauce. The lady server is friendly and always helpful. Always checks if I have enough coffee and refills it. Bright and spacious area. Clean. Washroom is also clean, fragrant, comfy.

Great brunch spot around the neighborhood, although it is quite pricey for some dishes. The grilled cheese sandwich was around $19 without taxes. The sandwich itself was good but the tomato soup was not my favorite, I’m not sure what else there is inside but it didn’t taste like tomato it tasted like squash maybe? We also tried the truffle mushroom benny, it was very tasty 8/10 and it was $22. The vegan buttermilk pancakes is a must try! I never had pancakes with pineapples before and the combination was amazing! We asked for a single serving to share and it decreased the price by half. They have a cute small area to sit outside, which is also pet friendly.

visited here for the first time the other day and it did not disappoint. I shared the mezze platter with my friend and it was more than enough for the both of us, and was super yummy. we also had the apple custard and cheesecake, which were also fantastic. our server was great too. just overall, a very pleasant experience

Completely WOWed!!! Meat lover won over. Mushroom and roots stew is a revelation, imaginative and mouthwatering delicious. Artichoke tacos scrumptious. Loved the gingery cocktail too. Fabulous find, one of the best of meals I’ve ever had.

Friendly service and delicious food. We arrived earlier in the morning so there wasn’t as long of a wait. Tried their Heirloom Hash and Truffle Mushroom Benny, Latte, Grapefruit Juice, and Mimosa. Pay parking available on street.

Used to love this place but they took most of the vegan options off the menu so my friend’s choices are limited. Their hot sauce is amazing though and they sell it by the bottle. Heads up, the pancakes are listed on the menu as vegan but the toppings aren’t so you have to take off all the good stuff to make them vegan.

Absolutely loved it here! Had their Kale Caesar and it was delicious. I wasn't overly thrilled about paying $19 for a salad but it was amazing, all the ingredients including the beet chips and dressing! Service was friendly and attentive (but maybe one too many visits to check in). Food did take awhile to arrive but gave our small group time to chat. Others at my table had the happy hour truffle fries and spicy tofu, as well as The Grilled Cheese and Halloumi Tacos. Everything tasted good. Would love to come back for a meal and dessert, and appreciate all the GF/vegan options!
