This is long overdue. We stayed here for three nights last summer and enjoyed every minute of it. The setting let alone remodeled historic structure are enough to draw us back to this wonderful hotel. We had dinner every night and the food was some of the best we had in all of our two weeks of travel across Spain. Embrace the unique charm of this hidden gem and you will certainly have a wonderful experience.

Fabulous Authentic Small Luxury Hotel. Loved staying here this spring. Good food, lovely indoor pool, super comfy beds and gorgeous interiors. Surrounded by quiet farmland and pretty gardens. Staff were kind and helpful. Would love to return in the future.

À beautiful place in a great surrounding but… we had a very small/tiny room that should not even be commercialized. It was announced as 20sq meters, which is probably exact when adding the shower which is within the room such as the sink, stuck under the slope of the roof. it was impossible to see your face in the mirror which insisted on reflecting my stomach and the ends of my arms. difficult to do your hair or put on makeup.||Moreover, the restaurant offered only a very short sélection of the usual menu, but no one told us so, begore we were at the table. They had multiple opportunities (mail, text and even on our arrival) to do so, but no one did… for an anniversary we had to manage our dinner with ham, cheese and anchovies which were ok without being fantastic.||What a pity…

Beautiful and upscale michelin awarded hotel in the Spanish countryside near Santander. The rooms and property are what you would expect at this level. Service is a bit relaxed — would like to see a bit of urgency to our requests. However, overall, this is very hard to fault. Excellent stay

We arrived at this beautiful remote retreat after a week of intensive surfing. The location, service and hospitality were amazing. The Wellington suite we stayed in was located in an old barn of the main building. It was lovely. Very tranquil, well furnished with antiques. The dinner, the wines, whiskey, breakfast and lunch were fabulous. We could not have asked for a more picturesque location in where we had a nice meditation and walk in the morning. Next time we will come back for horse riding and further relaxation. Thank you for hosting us!

As a wedding photographer, I've had the pleasure of capturing moments at many stunning venues, but this Palacio truly stands out. Just a short two-minute drive away is a quaint, cinematic church, perfect for intimate ceremonies. One of the highlights of the day was the incredible food. The chef not only prepared a delicious meal but also put on an impressive show during the reception, adding an extra touch of entertainment for guests. The venue also offers ample parking, making it convenient for everyone attending. Additionally, the property features an infinity pool and an indoor pool that feels straight out of a movie, complete with a cozy chimney. This combination of luxurious amenities and stunning natural surroundings makes this place a dream location for any wedding. I highly recommend this venue for couples looking for a picturesque and luxurious setting for their special day. It's a photographer's paradise and a perfect backdrop for capturing unforgettable memories.

We stayed for two very enjoyable nights. The staff are exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The grounds are beautiful very calm & relaxing. The rooms are a tranquil oasis. ||We ate at the restaurant both nights all meals excellent & showed local ingredients. ||We loved our stay here, it was so nice.

We spent two nights in one of the light filled attic rooms of this spectacular site. The first afternoon we rested from our travels in the glass enclosed pool and hot tub area taking in the incredible views. Ander, our host, was welcoming and attentive. We felt very much at home in this luxurious setting. Our first night we enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairing at the restaurant. Our dining and breakfast events were in the capable hands of charming Irma. Both Irma and Ander spoke English and although I don’t mind using my limited Spanish skills, it was not necessary here. The Hotel is an easy 30 minute drive to Santander where we spent a day shopping and people watching at the beach. Our GPS brought us directly to the Hotel. As we climbed the narrow road above the little town Las Presillas, we began to realize what a secluded spot we had found. The rooms have been thoughtfully designed with lots of outlets and space to relax. It is the perfect combination of modern designer luxury in a historic mansion. . We would be happy to return for a longer stay.
