competitive, nice place. There is roof top cafe. enough parking lot. there is Mt. Bromo jeep travel package. Gymnastics.

Nice and strategy location but the building quite old so it takes more maintanance.

The location of the hotel is okay. However, the accommodation is not good. Stayed there on 1 July 2023 with my wife and couldn't wait to check out the next morning. We were given room 219, the room smelt of cigarette smoke even though it was a non smoking room, the bed linen is old and the towels are so old and dirty looking, i didn't use them at all. Also we found 4 live cockroach crawling on the floor. Reported it to the hotel staff and showed them a photo of the cockroaches and all they could say was "sorry about that" I would NOT stay at this hotel again or recommend you to stay there..

I stayed in Helios Hotel for 3 nights in 04/2017 in an AC room on the upper floor pointing pointing to the inner court.||My room was spacious, clean and with big comfy bed. Bathroom is new and clean as well. Breakfast was also good. On the rooftop is the Kampong Hostel which is a nice place for beer in the evening. ||That said I believe the kind of the room and its location is important. There are cheaper rooms with a very small window, which may be rather dark. The window of my room was big but milk/frosted glas. Also the hotel is open to the main road, and the closer the rooms to the road the noisier they get.||Overall, if you take an AC room high up and pointing to the court - it is really a good place to stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. I can recommend this place.

Nice from the outside, disgusting from the inside!||It looks like a nice and fancy hotel. That's what the price is at as well. Such a shame all other hotels were full and it was getting dark so we wanted to make a choice quickly. We've paid 280.000 idr per night, which was way too expensive. The rooms are moistly and the bathroom wasn't to write home about either. The AC wasn't working properly, so you'll probably beter of with the room with a fan which is also cheaper.||||Staff is very kind tough. Not a bad word about them. Breakfast however can use some improvement. Everything is served cold as they keep their stock in tupperware next to the bar. Make sure you come early, because if something is running out, they won't replace it. Yummie, toast with butter but no jam..

Better than I expected; my previous experience with LP hotels is they stop trying once they’re included in the travel guide. Simple but clean, and the only place I came across in Malang that seems catered for backpackers; even though I did not come across any other backpackers when I was there. The cafe on the top floor has nice views of Malang and tasty food. It’s conveniently located next to the Gunung Harta office for taking the bus to your next location and they have their own tour agency across the street to book tours to Bromo and Ijen. The street didn’t feel that safe to walk at night as there is no foot path and it’s badly lit - so take a taxi/ojek if heading out in the evening.
