Location on the Caldera trail in Imerovigli was wonderful and convenient. I am so glad we did not stay in Fira or Oia because the crowds there were not my idea of enjoyable or relaxing. The small store just a short walk away was very convenient. The amount of excellent restaurants only a short walk away was perfect for me after walking so many miles during the day.|Room (22) was unusual and charming and exactly as pictured on their website. The kitchen we only used for the refrigerator. No kitchen towel or paper towels provided. The bathroom and shower were very nice but hotel did not provide lotion. As a backpack traveler who didn’t have any that was disappointing. The patio/view were beautiful with a view of the volcano in the distance. The area (really all of Santorini) was very safe and walking the trail at night seeing all of the caldera hotels and pools lit was so pretty. Walking to Skaros rock for a better sunset was a wonderful close by experience.|Hotel amenities were nice. Lots of stairs but that is true of every accommodation on the Caldera. The tiny pool was refreshing after the heat of walking around the area. The staff were friendly, kind and accommodating. The bar was very nice and had great drinks. |Would definitely recommend!

What a place! Beautiful views! We were very happy to stay at this hotel. And the service was great. Both mother daughter team, Elleny & Lila were so friendly and helping. Not very happy about the breakfast guy though! He was little temperamental! Also, unreal!! One morning, we were at it when my friend’s daughter requested a Cappuccino. She sipped a bit and didn’t like. So put aside. The counter guy was little upset. We told him coffee may be very good but she just didn’t like it!! Then when my wife came and requested a Cappuccino, the guy said, oh there’s one there, take it!! Can you imagine? Somebody had drank from it, and it was cold by that time!!! |But hotel is very nice, close to bus stand to catch an easy ride to downtown Fira.

I experienced such great customer service during my stay here. My flight got delayed and I landed at 12am, and the kind gentleman stayed to check me in until 1am when I arrived. The room was better than I imagined, the AC and shower great, along with the view. All of the staff we encountered was very kind! You get a great stay for a great price.

We visited the beautiful island of Santorini after a whirlwind 5 days in the very chaotic Athens. We loved Athens but Santorini offered us a wonderful glimpse into the genuine Greece. A much slower, serene, spectacular place that needs to be explored. The Heliotopas hotel which sits at the midpoint of the island, offers old world charm, breathtaking views, several top rated local restaurants and an unbeatable staff. Evelyn was our daytime manager, and Joseph filled the night responsibilities. They were wonderful people to deal with, very knowledgeable and always willing to help us in any way. The daily complementary breakfast was amazing. Set in the Wine Bar which is a natural cave it made for a truly unique environment. The Wine Bar offered a wonderful menu for both lunch and dinner and the wine tasting was fantastic. A pedestrian path outside the hotel leads to the south and the capital of Fira. This walk offers spectacular views and a few challenging elevations, it is worth every step with the reward of visiting Fira. Thank you to everyone…Steve

Highly recommended!!! The hotel is incredibly comfortable with beautiful views. The staff is very attentive and warm. The service is excellent. As for the restaurant, delicious food with an amazing menu. Wine selection is absolutely fine!

Nice place with the most amazing view. The bedrooms could do with some soft carpets so lodgers don’t have to step on the cold stone floor. But overall service and location is good.

We stayed here in April, the view is perfect from the rooms, every room has its own private balcony, there is a walkway just outside the hotel that has breathtaking views. The highlight of breakfast is freshly squeezed orange juice. Its a family run boutique hotel and you will see that touch in every aspect of your stay and in intercation with staff. Special thanks to owner Leela who is very welcoming and treated us with indian-greek style halwa

This was our first stop on a near 2 week trip to Greece. We arrived into Santorini at the hotel at almost 1 in the morning. The porter was there to take our bags down to our room and give us a brief overview of the room, and there was a letter from the manager Eleni welcoming us. The rooms were clean. One of the highlights for us was the daily breakfast! It was so fresh and delicious. We also had the opportunity to watch the sunset from the Wine Bar (whose food was also incredible), and even from the little porch outside our room. The views were spectacular. The staff was all incredibly helpful and I would strongly recommend this as a place to stay in Santorini. One of the other things that was nice was that it was away from the crowds of Oia and Fira, and we found that to be a big bonus!
