Hell Go to Hell is a quirky tourist spot in Grand Cayman, famed for its striking black limestone formations and a whimsical post office where you can send postcards "from Hell."
"Hell Go to Hell, so named for the underworld-evoking field of jagged, blackened limestone formations that crop up in this tiny Caymanian town, where iguanas handily outnumber human residents. While you're there, stop into Hell’s Gift Shop to browse the quip-covered stickers, mugs, and T-shirts (HAVING A HELL OF A DAY!), and send loved ones postcards from Hell’s one and only post office. You’ll be greeted by an octogenarian Lucifer, aka Ivan Farrington, who’s been dressing the part for decades—as he’ll happily demonstrate with his 1980-something star turn on Inside Edition (rest assured—he’ll have the tape all cued up in the VCR in anticipation of your arrival)."
Great hours, friendly statt, accept US$ and decent stamp prices to overseas. If you want to send Christmas Cards from Hell (...) this is the place to go.

Post office staff are super helpful! We stopped here after the turtle farm. This usually isn't more than a 15 minute stop, but certainly worth the stop if you are staying along SMB or around West Bay.

When my family I took our first cruise, one of the stops was Grand Cayman. We had our itinerary. Unfortunately one of the things we wanted to do was cancelled by the cruise for not enough people signing up for it. So we basically just did some shopping and we stopped by “Hell”. Hell, Grand Cayman is not something you can spend all day at. But it’s a fun thing to do. It’s basically just an old post office in a very very small village that you can mail a letter from and have your passport stamped at. And it will say on the postmark and passport stamp from “Hell”. There are a couple different was I heard the town got its name. One is because of the black limestone formations behind the post office, some may think this is what “hell” looks like. And another is if you throw a stone into the formations the echoes off of the formations make it sound like it’s going all the way down to hell. Who knows if either is true. But it’s still a little fun spot to make a quick stop. The Post Office even has a gift shop that you can buy various “I went to hell” shirts, hats, postcards, etc. So if you’re ever in Grand Cayman, be sure to make a visit to Hell.

Truly Hell on Earth! An exposed sea-worn obsidian formation of shiny jet-black appearance.

Really cool tourist location. Got a post card stamped and mailed to myself there. Behind the post office you'll find some really weird looking rock formations too.

Great place to visit in Grand Cayman,
Behind the post office you will find "hell" what is a rock formation. Take some photos and pay attention to the different formations in the field. Here is a gift shop and also there is tour buses that can take you here.
Time spend here 1 hour max.

Only worthwhile if you really want to send a post card with "hell" on it. Otherwise it's a long trip for not much to see.
