This hostel was a great first stop on our trip. Everyone working was friendly and there was a nice zen atmosphere. The location was right by the river and it was easy to walk everywhere. I felt like after only 2 nights we had a good idea of our way around. The rooms were clean and cute and I loved the charm of the building. I definitely recommend booking here!

Overall really great! The location is awesome, in a really pretty place that's about 15m of walk from the station. Haarlem is really nice and well connected to the cities around. The dormitory is quite calm, the staff is really nice and the common areas are really cozy and cool. The main (few) downsides of the place are in my opinion the rooms, especially the lack of curtains around the beds, the shower area which is quite tiny and - at least for us/with our dorm mates - which floor is always full of water/with a very wet rag on the floor, and an alarm for the doors that rings sometimes when we use our key to the room (not very loud in the sleeping room, it's more so startling for those opening the door). But yeah, otherwise given the prices in the area we really get our money's worth, our stay was really nice!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in. Harlem is quiet and beautiful, no more than 20 mins from Amsterdam by train, very handy. The hostel is clean, comfortable and it looks really pleasant. The patio is lovely, the vibe is friendly and chilled and the staff is helpful and kind. The room and bed was comfortable. Toilets are a big high for me (but that's a thing in the Netherlands, people are very tall), the only thing I'd change is making the toilet and shower room lighter, the black curtains look very aesthetic but it's a bit dark when you shower. However that's just a detail, my stay was amazing. There's also a café inside the hostel which adds some extra value to it. They also included a towel, soap, shampoo and conditioner. There were solo travellers, groups of friends and even families with children. Highly recommended if you go to Amsterdam :)

If you're visiting Amsterdam and don't want to break the bank by staying downtown, you absolutely must book a room in this hostel. Cozy, clean, welcoming, and a great location to explore other parts of the Netherlands than just Amsterdam center. It's a gorgeous 15 minute walk from the Haarlem train station and in the city center of Haarlem making travel to and from everywhere easy and affordable. Perfect location getting to/from the airport and Keukenhof gardens. The staff is so friendly. They care about your housing AND travel experiences. You can tell that the owner of this hostel made her dream become a reality. I wish I could have stayed longer here in Haarlem and I can't wait to come back with friends for my next visit.

Loved staying here! Stayed here at the end of my solo trip. I opted for the single room with a private bathroom, which was so much nicer than my Amsterdam hotel. The staff were super nice and helpful. Gorgeous location just off a canal, just a few minutes from the main square. Great shared spaces as well. All I can say is Stay Here!

Super cool Hostel in Haarlem. I only stayed for one night but staff were friendly and helpful, great coffee as well. Only one negative point is no curtains in the beds. But great overall.

Loved the hotel and staff and food and bar. It was a great combo and suited our group well. It was quiet enough at night to sleep well but had lots going on during the day. We loved being so close to Haarlem and found the place a great value. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat.

Stay Here! Very comfortable room! I upgraded myself to a single room with private bathroom. Much nicer than my Amsterdam hotel. As a solo, I was nervous about safety, but even though the hostel was mostly full, it was quiet all the time. I felt very safe! ||The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. Nice shared spaces. I went to a film screening at the hostel, which was really interesting!||Location was perfect for me. Quiet street just off a major canal. Short walk to the main square, and many restaurants.
