Wonderful Hostel in a Perfect Location I really enjoyed my stay at Hello Im Local! The location was ideal—close to everything I wanted to see and do. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. The staff were fantastic, always ready to help with recommendations or directions. I especially loved the common areas, which were great for relaxing and meeting new people. If you're looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the Netherlands, this is it!

Booked a room for 1 night, the room was super cozy and clean. Friendly staff, delicious coffee and pancakes. We lost our card to the room and they helped us right away. There is a fireplace, hot stuff, we loved it. We felt at home and left with a smile. Would recommend!

We stayed in the private apartment and my gosh 10/10. So spacious, clean and nice big windows for breeze and heaters to keep warm. Staff were all AMAZING! and the facilities, space, common areas, room, service and food is all amazing. Couldn’t recommend more. We LOVED our stay.

The hostel is really fantastic. We enjoyed the 2 persons room. The breakfast is lovely. Very central to all attractions in Haarlem.

I stayed for two nights in the women's only dorm, here's my review: It's mostly a cozy place. Appealing common areas though comparted with café guests, so it can be noisy. The staff seemed very nice and caring. What I didn't like though is that there is clearly a lack of maintenance. In my dorm three lockers were broken and in my dorm's toilet the sink was constantly leaking water which was visible on the floor. Also there is bad / no ventilation (?) in the dorm's shower, so the floor was almost constantly wet. Since this is a boutique Hostel and I have paid as much as I have never paid for a night in a dorm (because of some event that was going on it cost 100 € a night in an 8-bed-dorm), I expected perfect conditions which I have not found there. I have communicated it to the staff though who have told me they are aware of the conditions but not able to find someone to fix it. Also they could clean it a bit better since I found a previous guest's eye mask below my bed.

Incredible hostel, I’ve been all over Europe and I would say this is definitely one of the finest! The manager and staff were great to work with! There was a little hiccup in our reservation but within minutes we had complimentary beers and everything sorted out! They took great care of us and I would highly recommend this hostel to everyone! Thanks for a great weekend away with friends and will be back!

This hostel is an excellent choice if you travel alone or with friends. The rooms are very clean and spacy, and even though we were in a dormitory of 8, I always found the bathroom and the toilet free to use. The guys that run the hostel are super cool and also super professional. I took breakfast and lunch and they were super delicious. Bravo to all. 🌼

Some of us had a Bedbug invasion. The Fight lasted 3 whole days. 6 of us deserted and left the combat zone. Luckily we didn’t have any casualties on our side but we lost a lot of territory. The Amount of Casualties of the Opponent forces is unknown, but the Outcome is Clear: Victory for the Bugs.
