Hello Kitty Store

I was very pleased surprised to find this Hello Kitty Store. It is located at the Minion Land of Universal Studios. I have several friends who are maniac of Hello Kitty and it used to be so easy to buy presents for them. I used to purchase Hello Kitty items from NJ Mitsuwa Market or Epcot’s Japan Pavilion. But Hello Kitty just disappeared from these two places one day and I just couldn’t find a retailer of Hello Kitty for several years. And I finally found it today during my visit to Universal Studios. All items are beautifully displayed and it was very pleasant to shop around. I wanted to purchased several items, but restrained today. Because my Universal annual pass wasn’t eligible for any discount. I will come back with my friend who has ‘stronger’ annual pass and I will buy some items, the Loungefly bag being one of them!

Hello Kitty! I was so excited to stumble upon this adorable souvenir shop. It is located just after the official entrance of the park, after the ticket validation, near the minion oriented part of Universal studios. (minion mayhem, etc.) As you approach the store, you are greeted by several large Hello Kitty statues (as shown in the photos) with plushies of Pompompurin, My Melody, Kerroppi, Badtz Maru and of course, Hello Kitty on display. When I was there, there was chucky HK merchandise, consisting of wallets, face pillows, small plushies, mugs, shirts, hats and what appears to be a crossbody bag. Come get them while you can. I got two stuffies; an HK pillow for $24.95 and a my melody plush for $24.95. They are also selling some bracelets, they are $20 for a basic chain or bangle design with a sanrio charm ion them, to about $40 for more fancy designs. I also saw a hello kitty stanley cup, which I did not photograph. The loungefly bags I saw there were $84.95, if you are willing to pay that much for a bag, go for it, they are very cute and seem convenient to have. I would say the price range for items (Not food/snacks) in this shop is $8.00-$84.95. I’d say that most items in this shop were within the $15-$35 range. Plushies, specifically, were $20-$25. Come if you can! This store is awesome.

I was so excited to finally been able to visit this store located in Hollywood Blvd section inside Universal Studios, but got disappointed when I found out that the store closed for some refurbishing (but has reopened recently). They removed the original bow flooring and replaced with generic gray flooring instead. Was told about the retheming going on so there's not a lot of HK merch to choose from anymore hence the 3 stars. The Universal themed posters with HK was gone, the mailbox where you can send your HK postcard in, HK popcorn bucket was gone, the candy counter was gone with all the HK and friend s theme candies, chocolates and sweets. Not a lot of HK/ Universal Studios souvenirs available, was only able to purchase a globe spinner keychain for $10. I really miss the OG Sanrio stores!! 5 stars go out to the sales associates though, they kept the area clean and was very friendly.

A Hello Kitty fan would go crazy in here. The store is pretty big and at certain hours, you can meet Hello Kitty herself, right outside the store. Merchandise ranges from personalised keychains to T-shirts and mugs. There are plush collectibles and candies too. Betty Boop store is right next to it

I was delighted to find out all the Universal stuff Hello Kitty was involved with. There are a lot of souvenirs here commemorating this. Come on in and check them out.

I luv this store soooo muchhhhh. I do have to say the taxes to this place is insane honestly! Paid 25$ taxes😭😭 to my HK backpack. If u don’t mind hurting your wallets do come here lol! I luv all the options here and staff is always super friendly. They have so much cute stuff! It’s also cold in here so if u need to cool off definitely stop by this cute store.

Very cool place!! My only thing is (why I took a star away) was they didn’t have Hello Kitty plushies :( the ONLY character they had was Badtz Maru!! (I mean I bought him any way but)

The Hello Kitty store in Universal studio's is filled with themed stuff not only around Hello Kitty but also, Marvel, Harry Potter, SpongeBob, and Minions. You can find different Backpacks, plushies, shirts, cute outfits for little ones. Tons other things. If you're there in the area definitely check it out if you're looking for themed souvenirs on your trip.

If you are a Hello Kitty fan, this is THE store for you. With Build A Bow merchandise, unique movie collaboration merchandise, and lots of super soft and kawaii (cute) plushies, the kid or kid at heart will fall in love with this Universal Studios Florida store. *You do need theme park admission to visit this store*

Nice variety and the shop is three rooms big. It's not all Hello Kitty, but has a good amount of that. It is also not the only place to buy Hello Kitty at the park. Staff was friendly and I liked the selection better than a lot of the other stores. The prices were typically cheper than Disney so that was nice. Why pay $10 for a Disney pen than looks a lot like the $5 Universal pen? It was also pretty close to the front of the park so that was convenient since we try to wait until leaving to shop.

Boujee Hello Kitty The Hello Kitty Store is located between Production Central and Hollywood and offered exclusive merchandise and a host of kitty-centric collectibles. I originally purchased a shirt for my daughter at a store inside the Toon Lagoon on the side of Islands of Adventure park. They had a small section of HK merch. I wasn't sure of my daughter's size but If I needed to exchange it the Team Member mentioned about this shop that has a wider selection of merchandise and clothing. Walking around Hollywood, past the Beverly Hills sign, on the Universal Studios side, I spotted an icon with a bright white happy face wearing a large red bow, the most famous of the Sanrio characters... it's Hello Kitty! The store is divided into four themed areas in three rainbow-colored rooms. Each room sells specialty merchandise. The shop had everything... apparel, backpacks, plush toys (lots of them), accessories and souvenirs. I did have to exchange the shirt to a larger size after all and did so here on our 2nd day at Universal. In 2016 the Hello Kitty Store replaced Lucy: A Tribute. But is it true... that as of end of November 2022, the Hello Kitty Store is no more and has permanently closed. Unknown of what will be replacing this section of the store... I LOVE HK!!! I love her so much that my daughter's nursery was HK themed when she was a baby :) Anytime we visit Universal we have to come in and browse. I found the cutest Tervis mug this time around! I mean who doesn't love HK with ET!!! The store is located right near the front entrance. They have shirts, stuffed animals, mugs, stationery, jewelry and all sorts of HK themed merchandise. Be sure to show your pass so you can get a discount!!

Pretty good! Everything was expensive ( the Cinnamaroll travel bag I got was $87 ) but that was expected. Super cute stuff. Would recommend!!

This is one of my favorite stores that I need to visit at least once a visit to Universal. I actually look forward to exploring here. Many of the Sanrio shops around me have sadly closed, and I do love getting themed Hello Kitty and friends clothing and accessories. The last time here I purchased one of my favorite sweatshirts, a Hello Kitty with popcorn going to the movies! A lot of the clothing themes here are Hello Kitty mixing with the Universal universe. My daughter has Hello Kitty swimming below Jaws. You can also find her in Jurassic Park or with King Kong. They are all very adorable. This time I got a fun gray sparkly sweatshirt I hope to love just as much. If you are into characters other than Hello Kitty, but inside her universe, there are many of the favorites like Chococat, Pompompurin, and Keroppi. They have many plush toys, accessories, and clothing that ranges in size from small children to any size adult. You may even have an encounter with Miss Hello Kitty herself. She can be seen from time to time outside of the store for photo opps. I do miss their Hello Kitty candy and apples. I really thought they used to have a case of treats in this store, but they might still sell them at the sweet shop at the front of the parks. I have also found at the front of the parks in the discount area some good Hello Kitty finds. I found a Halloween shirt on sale off season in the summer. Since this is one of my favorite places, I hope Universal continues to host a shop dedicated to one of the most adorable characters in the universe.

Not as much stuff as I expected. Im sad they seem to have retired the monkey character or at least didnt have merch for it here. Even without my favorite character, I just didn't see a lot of merch. The store felt like it could have held so much more stuff, especially when compared with other stores at the park. I would've loved to have seen some more adult stuff (I don't know, may Hello Kitty shot glasses or something?) or even kitchen stuff. I just didn't see anything here that tempted me and I was bummed because I was prepared to give into temptation. I'll check it out next time and see.

Who would have expected Hello Kitty at a universal studios Park rubbing her elbows with minions and the Simpsons and yet here she is with a whole half of a gift store dedicated to Hello Kitty and her friends. You can find a couple one of a kind things especially the universal studios and Hello Kitty collaborations. Plushes in different shapes and styles. I spent a lot of time and money here, but had to dispute a charge because an item was charged twice so I had to call customer service to have it refunded. Luckily I didn't have to return in person but it was still a hassle especially when trying to enjoy the vacation. Don't forget to take your picture with the "life sized" figure of HK in the front of the store

I love hello kitty, and I couldn't wait to come here,this place is so cute and awesome I love it so much. This place is worth the money and you get to see hello kitty sometimes

Super excited to come across this new Hello Kitty Shop in Universal Studios Orlando. Everything was super cute and there were a couple other Sanrio characters available but not many. Hopefully by the next visit they will have more characters to collect from. There is a Hello Kitty post where you can purchase a pack of post cards and mail real mail out with an official stamp. I had to leave before spending my entire life savings in this store. Build a bow was extremely adorable. You can buy a Hello Kitty ear headband and build your own bow for it. Absolutely adorable design and decorations throughout the entire store. They also had pins for trading. Thank goodness my kids weren't there to fangirl and make us buy them everything since I was already doing so. This shop was formerly the I Love Lucy store. Don't forget to snap a pic with Hello Kitty outside the shop front.

Hi Jamie I"m finally arriving here at the resort. i cant wait till next momth all of my expenses will go merchandise that i will buy. I always wanted to go here to see my fave artist and re write songs and able to read thse fictions. mickey and minnie are both fave charters people want never stop doing for them. love you mickey mouse minnie I have some roses for you

You have to know before you go this is not at city walk like I assumed where the other stores are....this is actually inside univalve studios which requires a ticket. I was very upset that this was not stated anywhere and drove from Jacksonville, Florida looking for the hello kitty funko pop :(
